★★★★★ BEST STAY EVER - STAFF MADE MY FATHER FEEL SAFE AND CARED FOR! My father traveled alone for this stay and was so impressed that he made me promise to write the best review I could. They were always on hand to help with anything he needed - booking taxis, suggesting suitable local restaurants that were easy to get to, and checking in on him daily to ensure he was doing well. He said he never felt alone or worried during his stay, which meant the world to our family. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, but it’s the outstanding, personalized care from the staff that made this experience truly exceptional. He’s already planning his next trip back! Highly recommend for solo travelers, especially seniors - you couldn’t ask for better support and service.

Vine a Riyue Bay para surfear y, como estaba sola, reservé una casa de huéspedes/hostal. Como era barata, hice casi todo yo misma, lo cual fue aceptable y me dio más libertad para disfrutar de la vida costera. Era mi primera vez en un hostal y estuvo bastante bien. Limpieza: Quizás porque tanto el personal como la dueña son mujeres, estaba muy limpio.

La habitación es en general limpia y limpia, la salud es regular y la más cálida es que el servicio de los tutores es especialmente bueno, entusiasmo y cuidado, hay problemas que ayudan a resolver a tiempo, una actitud excelente y una vida tranquila. I came to Wanning with no expectations or plans, I was on a short layover in Hainan and decided to spend one night here. My stay even for one night was nothing short of amazing. The hosts Cicy and Jerry welcomed me upon arrival and made me feel right at home, the room was in pristine condition and felt very personalised and inviting. The place itself was nothing short of superb, but the real highlight was the hospitality offered by the hosts Cicy and Jerry. They knew I was staying only for one day, so they planned a full 1 day itinerary for my time here. I was given suggestions on activities in the surrounding area, and I was driven around by them to some authentic beatiful locations such as a coffee plantation and local restaurant. They made me feel like I was home away from home, even in a country that is so diffferent to my own (England). I can recommend anyone looking for a peaceful, romantic retreat in this area to come here, and I will certainly be coming back. Thankyou Cicy and Jerry.

Ideal location if you want to go surfing and you can rent boards and wetsuits through the hotel directly. Room was clean and comfortable, the staff super friendly and responsive. Downside is the noise from the town until 2am, but thats not the hotels fault and affects all of them in the region. I even read of people who couldn't sleep from the noise on the island aplartment 2.5km away. The music is really extremely loud and fireworks happen aswell. But as said, not the hotels fault. Would come again for surfing and theres lot of food options and convenience stores around aswell.

Probablemente debo mencionar que mi mandarín es bastante bueno. He conocido a otro viajero que podría hablar inglés pero que no es que usted pueda tener que ahogar el ol goog translate. ¡Me quedé sin moverse! ¡Me quedaría aquí más tiempo, gran lugar!

A perfect place to stay in Riyuewan Bay. Chuck and his lovely family are your caring hosts. The rooms are spacious, sparkling clean with a cosy matress. Everything you need is in walking distance. Especially for me, the surfrental right infront of the place, the surfspots around the corner. Chuck helps you to arrange everything. From surfboard, transport, travel recommendations. The vibe at Surfers Garden is chill and cool but a little bit too much. My room had no towels, no toilet paper. Cabinet to store my things in the shared room couldn’t lock. The room itself can’t lock from the outside as well and too often when I was looking for someone at the reception there were no one … When you finally catch someone to give you a towel, be aware that it’s a disposable towel. So better bring your own. In the morning, don’t hope to get a coffee at their bar before 9am or 10am. The whole place looks a bit messy and the reception space looks unfinished. Staff is friendly tho. The guesthouse is surrounded by many little shops and local restaurants. You can reach the Ri Yue Wan beach where you will find bar/coffee, clubs, shops, surfing clubs etc. in 15 min walking or 5min by e-bike. Ri Yue Wan beach area is definitely the place to be to enjoy a good “beach/surfer” vibe sipping a cocktail in front of the beach. At night, this place turn into a music festival area where everyone display live show music and DJ and expect fireworks on the beach almost every 15min. If you are looking for surfing club in this area, I would recommend to check Shaka surf club. Good service, good price, and so far the most professional to me at Ri Yue Wan.
