«We are a family of three from Singapore. This is our first time visiting Riyue Bay in Haikou. We love surfing and saw an advertisement for UECHAO Surfing Resort online, which looked very interesting. So we decided to visit and experience this only artificial wave pool in China during our May holiday. Our first impression of the hotel was that they were friendly, provided professional service, and were always responsive to guests' requests. The hotel's decor was novel and unique; we especially loved the coffee table designed with surfboard elements, which perfectly matched the surfing theme. The rooms were clean, tidy, and comfortable. The food offered at the hotel was delicious and varied, giving us many choices. In addition, the hotel provided complimentary laundry service, which we found particularly thoughtful. Absolutely love it. ❤️ Here, I must say that this first artificial wave pool in China truly deserves its reputation as a world-class wave pool. The strength of the artificial waves is comparable to that of real ocean waves. We especially love its Malibu waves, which make us feel as if we are surfing in the sea of Malibu. This surfing experience brought us many surprises and a lot of joy. Turely enjoyable. The hotel is also about a 5-minute walk from Riyue Bay Beach. The Riyue Bay business street has lots of local restaurants and cafes, and there are street dance performances at night, making it very lively. I highly recommend UECHAO Surfing Resort to everyone.👍🏻»

«Love this place. Service is superb and very spacious room / common area to accommodate large crowd. Beach is just few steps away from restaurant, kid wants to go to the beach every moment during breakfast, lucky they also have a kid play area within the restaurant. 300m from hotel is shoplots with supermarket and restaurants to try out local signature dishes. 管家小娜 is very reactive to all request and respond super fast!!! «Ha sido el peor viaje de mi vida. Un tifón, cancelación de vuelos, cambios de vuelos, retrasos de cinco horas, retrasos del tren de alta velocidad, todo un caos. Las actividades acuáticas que habíamos reservado se cancelaron y reprogramaron debido al mal tiempo. La imprevisibilidad del clima hizo que muchos de nuestros planes se frustraran, y todo este desorden ensombreció completamente el viaje. La única pequeña alegría, la única luz, fue la señorita Lexie, nuestra mayordoma. Me he alojado en muchos hoteles en Hainan con mejores instalaciones que el Le Méridien, pero nunca había encontrado una mayordoma tan paciente, que te ayude a resolver todo tipo de problemas y a conseguir más beneficios. «Overall, very good and pleasant stay. Very close to the beach and great bars in the vicinity. The room was very clean, and the service was excellent. Most of the staff spoke good English and were very helpful. However, the gym is bare minimum; a couple of extra machines would help. Also, it would be better if bottled water were always available. The swimming pool was very nice, but the area would benefit from more sun umbrellas, maybe a cocktail bar or access to chilled soft drinks. Breakfast was overall delicious, but I couldn't get an omelette or scrambled eggs, which are usually breakfast staples.»
