Wow! What an amazing place to stay and how lucky we were to find it. By far the best place we stayed in China. Mrs. Li (the owner) was so genuinely nice and caring, and we felt like part of the family staying there. One of my favorite things in Kashgar was hanging out with her and her family in the evenings. She always invited us at night to hangout in the common area where she would make us tea and share her fresh and dried fruits with us. She was really good at using a translator app, so we were able to have a good conversation with her through that. She has a great little family. Her son speaks good English and was also very nice. She had a young daughter who also speaks English, but is more shy with it (though she will sing you a Taylor Swift song..she has a great voice). They have 3 cats and the youngest one, little tiger, is just the sweetest and the friendliest cat I have ever met. It was such a good and warm feeling to stay there. We definitely wish we could visit again. A home away from home. And we were treated so generously in more ways than we can write here. Mrs. Li asked us right away if there was anything she could help us with, without us having to ask, which we really appreciated, and she took the time to sit down with us to go over our plans. She let us store our luggage for 3 days and walked us out to help us get a taxi when we departed. While it was the family that made it simply amazing, some might also be interested in the following information. The location is great. On a quiet street. Close to the big mosque which is a good landmark to use to find the area. And of course close to the old city. It's also really close to the biggest supermarket we have found thus far in China (we have to admit it was nice to get a few ”luxuries” from home like cereal and hot chocolate). The guesthouse is cute and has a Central Asian feel. The shower works great and is hot. We were there in the winter, and the room has heat if you needed it. Mrs. Li was able to arrange a driver for us to go to Tashkorgun and the Karakorum Highway, which was super helpful. The place was nice and clean. Thank you so much Mrs. Li! You will be a highlight of our visit to China and will be remembered in our hearts forever. -Travis and Elisha (Colorado, USA) PS: when we get home I'm going to try to write up a bit about our trip on Tripadvisor because I couldn't find anything about Kashgar on trip advisor since covid, and some things have changed, so I thought it might be helpful for fellow travelers, so look for that.

This is an international youth hostel with an extraordinary atmosphere, and the environment and hygiene are also quite good. I first heard about it from a friend who stayed here before. It’s truly fantastic once you arrive! The two hosts are extremely kind—since it’s winter now, they even provided us with hot water bottles, which is so thoughtful. Especially coming to Kashgar from the colder regions of Central Asia, I feel much warmer here. I will definitely recommend this hostel to my friends if they come here next time.

Me alojé en este lugar durante una semana. Estoy súper contento con este hotel y lo recomiendo. El dueño es muy amable y siempre está dispuesto a ayudar con cualquier cosa. Se admiten extranjeros y mascotas. Está ubicado en el barrio y en la calle de al lado hay muchos restaurantes con buena cocina local. Si quieres ir al casco antiguo, se tarda 15 minutos en bicicleta eléctrica, así que tienes todo lo que necesitas. ¡Lo recomiendo encarecidamente!

Poet Song is an amazing place! Location: Very convenient. Short 10 minute Didi taxi ride (10rmb) to the ancient city. Or can take bus (2 RMB) 15mins. From Airport Didi 15 mins (20 RMB). Room: The room is clean, with fast wifi, very cool aircon, smart lights and curtains. Has all the amenities you need: kettle, great hairdryer and each day will have basic room cleaning and you get new toiletries and bottled water. Besides the comfort of the room, what makes this place really great are the staff. From the moment you arrive, they come out to greet you, take you into their cozy reception room and check you in while enjoying fruits and/or Xinjiang nut snacks. Not all staff spoke English but any translation app will do and they all are so willing to help. They gave very valuable advice of places to visit so ask them any questions! The owner can speak English and I'm sure you will get to meet him as he is very hands on and around everyday to make sure all his guests are taken care of and enjoying their stay. He is a great guy and I believe is the real reason what makes this hotel so good! When I come back to Kashi/Kashgar, no hesitation I will definitely stay at this hotel. Highly recommend!!! Oh there are also three adorable cats!

El entorno geográfico de la población es excelente, desde la puerta delantera hasta la antigua ciudad oeste, desde la parte trasera hasta la antigua ciudad oriental, y los vehículos pueden llegar a la puerta del pueblo, es muy conveniente. La salud es excelente, el cuarto es sencillo y limpio, la vivienda es cómoda, el calentador también es muy bueno, lo mejor es tener una gran terraza que puede limpiar sus vestidos y sentarse en un estanque, es realmente genial! Los dos jefes también son muy buenos, todos tienen necesidad, y se recomienda enérgicamente a esta gente.

Quería un lugar en la Ciudad Vieja que acepte a extranjeros. Este uno acepte a extranjeros, para todos los viajeros extranjeros allí. El estancia en casa que reservaba fue cerrado sin aviso. Me presenté en el lugar completamente confuso. Pero después de algunos idiomas corporal, finalmente encontré ayuda en la calle para hablar con el propietario por teléfono. La habitación era más pequeña que la que reservaba, pero me comprometí a quedarme. El propietario de la casa (Han personas) fue caliente y bienvenido, así que dejaré el evento desafortunado de mi mente. Todas las convoyes entre mí y el propietario son a través de la aplicación de traducción ya que nadie habla inglés y todo va bien. La primera foto fue el estadío de Jingyi, que se cerró para la temporada.

Este 5 puntos es para la hermosa jefa! Ven a la entrada norte para cogernos, la tabla de acoplamiento para ayudarnos a traer nuestra maleta, también puede traer dos maletas al mismo tiempo, nos ha actualizado la habitación gratis, nos ha enviado el cartucho de la carpa de la carpa, nos ha dado la guía, nos ha dado la pista, nos ha perdido muchas veces llamarla. Ya se recomienda a amigos, ¡y no se puede hacer nada!

La habitación era cómoda y limpia, ¡y las actividades de las vacaciones fueron divertidísimas! Todos se reunían para charlar de todo un poco; ¡el ambiente era fantástico! 👍 El baño también estaba impecable; lo limpian a diario. En la planta baja hay una tetería centenaria que organiza eventos, así que la ubicación es estupenda.

I stayed here with my two kids under four years old and loved the experience. The hotel is located at a prime of location where Eid Gah is two mins walk away and the pedestrian food street and ancient city right across the road. The hotel is generally very clean, however as I entered my room I did feel like the floor needed better mopping. I could clearly see that some diet residue has been smeared all over the floor. The staff is super friendly and helpful, they were very cooperative with my inability to understand Chinese. Breakfast is amazing. They offer a great variety of items from fruits to bread and drink and soups/bean paste. I did notice that the bread was stale but there were definitely other options available. You can also do laundry without having to buy your own detergent 🥹 on the 5th floor. I did twice. 😄 My life was made so much easier with kids. I am so going to stay here again.
