Holiday Inn Express & Suites Nashville North - Springfield

I booked a room here for my son’s birthday. I knew this hotel was still kind of new and had only been in the area maybe 2-3 years and never had a bad experience with an Holiday Inn until now. Arrive and find a sign that says pool is under construction. Wait what this is a new hotel and the main reason I booked. Try to think of something different so we go check out our room and theirs left behind McDonald cups underneath the bed and black plastic the shower. Don’t understand how that was missed. So basically we’re stuck up in the room doing what we could have done at home with the pool under construction or no WiFi. So ruined our plans of getting a room hanging out with my 8 and 11 year old. And an extremely loud party going on somewhere on the main level until about 11 p.m. We a drunk man knock on our door that wasn’t a staff member talking about can we stop being so loud their had a room underneath us. I explained it wasn’t us and we could heard it also. Made a complaint to the front desk and her exact response was, “I knew I should have called out.” Won’t be returning here.

Clean, Quiet, Super nice staff. Have stayed here twice now and both stays were great. I like the space in the rooms too. Doesn't feel too cramped. Beds are comfortable. Great hot water in showers, good water pressure. Even the complimentary shampoos and soaps were good.

Upon arrival our room was out of tissues, barely any toilet paper(2 people used and it was gone) with no replacement available. The hard floor was dirty. Pulled out the sleeper sofa and glitter and garbage flew out. Blanket in closet for sofa was stained. USB port for charging was broke. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. The food and coffee was empty and there was only one person trying to get it filled back up. Wasn't able to have a decent breakfast and it wasn't close to the end of breakfast time. Not sure how this hotel won any awards in 2023.

Front desk clerk at check it was very friendly and informative. Beautiful lounge area very clean. Love our room very clean and one of the most comfortable beds i ever slept on in a hotel. Breakfast attendants very friendly and kept food stock. Loved my stay will definitely stay here again.

Very clean and staff was very friendly. Lots of thumping from upstairs so we didn’t sleep well. I thought most hotels have concrete floors but you could hear every sound. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Huge selection. Elevator needs some work. Made weird noises.

Check in was quick and easy, room was very clean and comfortable, complimentary breakfast was delicious, lots of options and the lady cooking the food made sure to keep everything stocked. The hotel was completely booked but we didn't hear the other guests and weren't disturbed at all. Neighborhood seemed friendly and safe.

The property itself was nice. However, I was put in a room where the door wouldn’t lock and was told I’d have to deal with it by the GM because a locksmith wasn’t coming. When I called ******* to get a discount and they called the hotel she told them I was lying and everything was fine. The GM was the one who had to change my rooms and told me they knew it was broke. They never gave us new towels. Before leaving for a hot day of baseball we asked for towels and was told they would be ready when we got back. At 1:30 in the morning they towels were just getting washed. So after a long hot day, no one had towels to shower. Was told sorry nothing they could do. Was told they was washing for the upcoming guest! Hello? Who are we! At one time we were checked out of our hotel and locked out. Had to prove to them we paid for the time! Breakfast was good when it was there. Couldn’t swim in the pool because the door to the pool was broke and no one had bothered to called the locksmith on that either.

Beautiful hotel. The hotel room was exceptionally clean.
