«Hotel con buenas instalaciones, cerca de la parada del bus. Habitaciones amplias. La cama es cómoda aunque algo dura. La almohada demasiado blanda, coge tu forma en seguida. Me costó mucho conciliar el sueño.»

«Hotel is great overall, but beds are really hard surface type. The hotel feels like was last renovated / built some 20 or so years ago, which makes everything looks dated. However, in terms of cleanliness, service and location it is an excellent hotel (if you are ok sleeping on a hard bed). Staff is very helpful. We didn’t try spa or dining so cannot comment here. Location is good: it is not too far from central district yet if you’re driving (we did) you don’t have to drive through the most congested areas. There are a few excellent coffee places nearby. Many places around to eat.»

«Wir waren zwei Nächte in Halbpension hier. Das Zimmer mit einem Queensizebett und einem Einzelbett war auch mit der Sitzgelegenheit im Erker-Fenster gut eingerichtet und für die zwei Nächte in Ordnung. Alles war gut gepflegt und nicht im abgewöhnen Zustand. Das asiatische Frühstück war reichhaltig und bot am zweiten Tag eine kleine Abwechslung. Das Abendessen wurde als Buffet kalter und warmer Gerichte angeboten. Die Qualität war sehr gut und schmackhaft. Verbesserungspotential besteht bei Frühstück und Abendessen beim Warmhalzen der Speisen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Serviceorientierung der Mitarbeiterin im Spa-Bereich, die uns bei der Waschmaschine sehr geholfen hat und uns später bei den Besuchen des Spa sehr herzlich behandelte. Der Spa ist auf F1 und hat 5 Becken, eine Sauna 72° und ein Dampfbad. Die Einrichtung besteht sicherlich schon einige Jahrzehnte, ist jedoch absolut sauber und sehr gepflegt. Nur die laute Belüftung stört etwas.»

«We had a great stay at Freshfields Hotel in Taichung. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, nicely maintained and very comfortable. While the location isn’t the most convenient, the hotel offers shuttle services that you can book in advance, which made getting around much easier. A heads-up for anyone planning to use the public baths: make sure to bring a swimming cap or shower cap, as well as a swimsuit. If you forget, you’ll need to purchase them at the hotel in order to use the facilities. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience!»
