Ideal affordable choice for a pre- flight overnight stay. Easy to find, large car park and the bar was open for food and drink. The room we had was spacious, clean, and with a very comfortable bed. We hadn’t realised when booking that no cooked breakfast available but that wasn’t a problem. Plenty of cereals, toast, pastries, yoghurt and fruit available and hot drinks. The welcome was very friendly.

Great room value. Very spacious. Bed comfortable. Only continental choice for breakfast. There could of been more choice with pastries etc. but it was fine. Had a lovely meal on the evening of arrival. Very friendly landlady, and staff. Would stay there again.

Very friendly welcome, good home cooked food, clean and comfortable room. We used the hotel as a stopover when travelling south to a family birthday, We will definately stay again, would also recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay.

Basic, but clean amenities, however good value for money. Nice standard continental breakfast. Kelly was very welcoming and extremely accommodating she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasurable from curling our hair to fetching a McDonald’s after the restaurant had closed. If in the area again, would definitely stay at the Windmill Inn again.

Stayed here as we had a wedding in Knutsford , Kelly and Paul went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable even arranged for a local make up artist to come and do my makeup and Kelly did my hair for me they are absolutely amazing and wonderful hosts even got a little Mother’s Day present at breakfast we will definitely be back Thanks to you both for making it a home from home and so enjoyable see yous soon xx Tricia and Chris from Liverpool

Arrived to a lovely, warm welcome. Room was large and really clean (bed super comfy!). Evening meal was amazing & to have an early continental to take with us was a lovely touch. Can’t recommend this place highly enough, esp when flying from Manchester Airport.

Amazing food and well run pub/restaurant. Hubby and I went back to this little gem and oh we was shocked. The pub has changed so much since our last visit. Would recommend for family and couples to eat and drink. Well worth your money very reasonable. Such a lovely welcome from Paul and Kelly, they remembered our drinks straight away. The lay out of the tables and also Chris**as decorations were a lovely touch. We picked off their festive menu and it was amazing. Vegetables were fresh gravy was spot on. Turkey dinner was like “mums” Chris**as dinner and the gravy was flavoursome. Prawn cocktail was a very good size and the Chris**as pudding with brandy source was brilliant. If you’re passing from Chris**as shopping you must pop in for food. This little gem is a diamond.

Very Overpriced rooms, tired decor in rooms, bathroom not cleaned (faeces left in toilet - you couldn’t make it up!), no breakfast until 9.00 - wouldn’t offer anything to take away before this time, disappointing & depressing. Find somewhere else to stay

Stayed here on 1st October for 1 night. Lovely clean place. Room was nice. Very welcoming and friendly. Would stay again. Close to Manchester airport too. We left early before breakfast so they made us a pack up to take with us which was really nice too
