El hotel esta a pocas cuadras caminando de pub Street lo que es muy bueno ya que estamos lejos del ruido, es muy limpio con habitaciones espaciosas y buen bar. Los empleados de recepción nuok charata and reath son excelentes, muy amables y predispuestos a ayudarme en todo lo que necesite. Tengo poco inglés y ellos me ayudaron en todo para poder sentirme cómodo. Muy recomendable

The entire team at The Sarai, especially Rose, David, and Anna, went above and beyond to ensure that I had a delightful experience. Their dedication and willingness to assist me were truly commendable. I must add that all the other staff members were equally helpful and contributed to making my stay exceptional. Apart from the exceptional service, I was particularly impressed with the hotel's amenities. The comfortable beds ensured a restful sleep, the delicious breakfast provided a great start to the day, and the fabulous pool offered a refreshing retreat. Furthermore, I was thrilled to receive a complimentary 30-minute massage, which I decided to extend due to its immense relaxation benefits. I also want to express my appreciation for the assistance I received from your staff in various other aspects. From arranging transportation to and from the airport to helping me mail out postcards, their support was invaluable. I couldn't have asked for more. In terms of location, The Sarai's proximity to the main shopping and restaurant area is incredibly convenient. The short tuk tuk ride or 10-minute walk ensured that I had easy access to all the attractions and amenities in the city. Additionally, I would like to mention the excellent tuk tuk drivers that your hotel has partnered with. These local drivers were not only knowledgeable about their beautiful city, but they also provided exceptional service and were readily available to show me around. Their passion for Siem Reap was evident, and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the city with their guidance. My experience at The Sarai has been nothing short of extraordinary. This image effectively captures the essence of not only the hotel but also the entire city and country. It exudes an overall dilapidated and below-average quality. Our stay at this hotel lasted for a month, costing around 650 euros, and although our sleep was satisfactory, there were numerous shortcomings. Despite actively searching for other hotels within the same price range, none of them were satisfactory. However, due to the comfortable sleep we experienced, we decided to stay. If we had come across a more respectable option, we would have immediately left. The advantages include a peaceful and quiet atmosphere at night, as well as reasonably comfortable beds. Additionally, the staff demonstrated friendliness and helpfulness.

Sólo un poco de añadir, no estoy acostumbrado al protocolo de limpieza. Me despertó y me despertó muchas veces el personal de limpieza del hotel abriendo automáticamente mi puerta y me preguntó si quería limpiar la habitación aunque no puse un signo en frente de mi puerta o informar a alguien. The service at Sala Lodges was commendable, embodying the true spirit of hospitality. The staff were attentive, approachable, and consistently willing to assist us in organizing our trips around Siem Reap, making the overall experience hassle-free and enjoyable. A special shoutout to the Swiss owners who were genuinely amiable and made us feel warmly welcomed.
As for the accommodations, the rooms in Sala Lodges were a delightful surprise. Each room bore discrete charm with its tasteful decoration, seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary elements. The authentic Khmer old houses are full of charm, yet modern and well preserved.
The hotel’s kitchen offered a menu that might seem simple at a glance but was satisfyingly delightful upon tasting. Every dish we tried was prepared well, with fresh ingredients and flavors that are comforting yet exciting to the palate. The breakfast, in particular, deserves an extra note of praise for being consistently good, providing a delightful start to our days of exploration.
Adding to the hotel’s allure was the inviting swimming pool, serving as a refreshing sanctuary after a day of touring the magical temples and vibrant markets of Siem Reap. During the wet season, the atmosphere around Sala Lodges was even more calming and soothing, with the soft sound of rain providing a comforting backdrop to our stay.
To sum it up, our experience at Sala Lodges was nothing short of magical. From the excellent service to the beautifully appointed rooms and delightful meals, every aspect of the hotel contributed to a stay that was serene, comfortable, and absolutely enjoyable. Whether you’re traveling in the wet season or not, Sala Lodges offers a cosy retreat that will surely enhance your Siem Reap adventure. Highly recommended!

Las habitaciones se limpian dos veces al día y la higiene en cada rincón está bien hecha. El desayuno tiene buen sabor. Para un yo que es muy exigente con el hotel, dé una puntuación completa a esta estancia. Me siento muy feliz todos los días. La piscina tiene una piscina de agua salada. Todos los martes, hay una fiesta en la habitación, que solo está abierta para los huéspedes alojados. Me alojé en este hotel por 6 días. Reacio a irse. Si vienes a Angkor la próxima vez, elegiré aquí nuevamente. El arroz frito con jazmín está especialmente recomendado para el desayuno. Es delicioso. No hay jugo de naranja en el menú, por lo que el chef puede exprimirlo fresco ~

UUsuario invitadoPasé dos días en Siem Reap durante el Festival de Primavera. Tuve una combinación de atracciones exóticas y buen alojamiento. Lo pasé muy bien gracias a este hotel. Desafortunadamente, solo visité Angkor Wat durante dos días y solo me quedé en el hotel dos noches.
Mis habilidades fotográficas son terribles, pero las fotografías originales son hermosas.
Higiene: Buena. El baño es súper grande y está lleno de plantas reales. La bañera es enorme y viene con sales de baño.
Ambiente: Bueno, pasé unas horas felizmente tumbado junto a la piscina la última tarde.
Servicio: Bueno, después de bajar del avión, la recogida gratuita con toallas y cocos fue realmente agradable. Después de un día loco, es genial tener un spa para todo el cuerpo. Algunos de los empleados hablan chino y la mayoría habla inglés. No tengo problemas para comunicarme en un inglés plástico.
Esta fue mi primera vez en el sudeste asiático y realmente lo disfruté.
Pd: Puedes traer bebidas gratis del minibar cuando sales. Generalmente, el baúl de un tuktuk incluye un congelador. Es genial tomar Coca-Cola helada en un día caluroso;
Envié un correo electrónico al hotel usando qq y no lo recibieron, pero el 163 sí. Por supuesto, también puedes llamar directamente. Las llamadas en roaming internacional a Camboya no son caras. Puedes preguntar al operador el coste específico.

El hotel es precioso y cuidado al máximo en todos los aspectos, Las instalaciones son de una elegancia fuera de lo comun, las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas como en poscis lugares. Dispone de una piscina que es una maravilla cuando llegas de los tours o simplemente de hacer un paseo por las calles de Siem Reap…..La ubicacion es en un situo tranquilo pero cerca de todo, el Old Market, la Pub Street…….pero si hay algo que sobresale sobretodo es el personal, con un trato exquisito y una amabilidad fuera de lo comun.

UUsuario invitadoGuests should be aware that, although the webpage clearly states that rooms are equipped with a 21 inch television including cable service, this is deception. Technically yes, there is a tv, but no cable or antennae service, and no remote control. The front desk clerk told me that no rooms have tv service due to sidewalk re-construction , however no construction was evident at the time of my stay.
I was checked into a 3rd floor room, and the internet signal was too weak. When I complained, I was moved to a 2nd floor room, so problem solved. If you choose to stay here, be forewarned that there are no elevators. Also, be aware that Pub Street is very close (across the street) and the very loud music persists throughout every night, until 6 AM. A good pair of ear plugs is an essential requirement. On my last night there I could not use the earplugs because I needed to set an alarm clock due to early morning travel obligations, and it was a sleepless night for me.
On the plus side, the prices are reasonable considering these faults. The staff were friendly, including front desk clerks and the house keeping persons. On two occasions, however, the housekeepers failed to lock my room door after cleaning, so my belongings were vulnerable to theft until I returned to the room. The second time, the door was left ajar! I brought this to the desk clerk’s attention, so it didn’t happen again. The rooms that I saw were kept clean and well maintained, except TV service, as well as the lobby and hallways. I did not use, nor see the pool area, and was not advised by staff upon check-in, of its existence, so I cannot comment on that.
This has a policy prohibiting you from bringing anyone to your room, unless they are a registered guest at the hotel.
I would give this hotel a 2.5 stars rating, out of 5 possible stars, overall.
There are numerous restaurants within a few minutes walk. Khmer Kitchen, just a three minute walk, on San Sok Road, was one of my favorites. The night markets are also close by as well. Tuk- tuk drivers are always readily available should you want to visit Angkor Wat or other sites.
