Vanilla Sky Georgia

I flew Vanilla Sky from Tbilisi to Mestia and back. I had some difficulty reaching anyone by phone with questions, but after numerous tries I got someone on the line and she was helpful at assisting me. Our flight was about 45 minutes delayed to Mestia, but we were kept informed. The flight itself was uneventful. I certainly would fly them again.

Vanilla Sky arranges a shuttle to the airport that leaves at a scheduled time and from a scheduled place. Due to an accident on the road, we arrived at the shuttle pick up spot with only 5 minutes to spare, only to find that the shuttle has departed early. We paid a taxi to take us to the airport and, when we arrived, we raised the issue with airline representative. At first we were told that we were mistaken and the the shuttle never leaves early. When we presented the rep with proof in the form of timestamped Bolt reciepts, we were called liars. The rep then summoned the shuttle driver who yelled at us and again called us liars. If booking with this tour operator, I would advise taking into account their bad manners and deceitfulness.

We took the flight to Mestia with Vanilla Sky. And one has to say the flight itself was amazing!!! Great views over the Caucasus maintains, smooth take off and landing! The Flight alone was an attraction we did not want to miss! Really unique and enjoyable. However everything around the flight connected with the airline was really bad. Starting with the booking which was not possible for us using their website (so we had to use a local travel agency instead). Vanilla Sky was not helpful at all with solving our booking problems (they hung up when we called them in English, did reply with a simple „try again“ to our mail, etc.). Moreover it is a risky business to book with them because you never know whether the flight will take off after all (sometimes there are not enough people on the flight and more often than that flights are cancelled last minute because of bad weather).
