The owner of this rural villa is a Chinese. It is a 20 minute walk away from the azure beach by the Aegean Sea. The villa is equipped with a large swimming pool and barbecue, and has the bright sunshine and fresh air of the Mediterranean Sea. It takes a 20 minute walk to several supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes in the town. It is a 25 minute drive from Athens Airport and a 45 minute drive from the Acropolis. The nearest attraction, the Poseidon Sea Temple, is an excellent choice for tourism, vacation, and leisure

I don't usually post negative reviews, but on this occasion, our stay was so bad at this hotel, that I felt the need to write this. We stayed at the Grand Lagonissi for 3 nights for a family wedding. Our room was a deluxe beach front bungalow, which by the way, looks fine on their website, but is not a reflection of the actual reality. The property is extremely dated with non-functional facilities. 3 of our 4 sockets didn't work and we there were no USB wall chargers. From the moment we entered the room we noticed a disgusting musty and damp smell. Immediately you could see that the room was filthy with dust and cobwebs everywhere. The lampshades were covered in dust and the table tops sticky. The grass outside in the so called 'garden area' was dirty and unkempt. The bathroom was even worse than the room, with a disctinct sulphur type smell coming from the toilet area. Broken tiles and paint peeling off were an added bonus. Things only got worse when we realised the towels had red ants crawling through them. On the first night we got back to our room following a wedding function only to find 12-15 mosquitoes on our ceiling. We called housekeeping who came and sprayed bug spray everywhere including the bed! We then asked them to clear up the dead bugs and change the bedding as my sister is allergic and has asthma and they refused! We ended up sleeping on the sofa that night. The next morning we waited for new housekeeping staff and asked them to change the bedding which had dead mosquitoes on it - they were very rude and refused. The lady made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. On top of this the air con wasn't working properly. The sofa and beds all have bed bugs. My sister and I have been bitten all over our bodies and have been to see the Dr since we got back home to get some treatment as the bites are so painful. Room service was also shambolic. We ordered some coffee to the room which took over 90 minutes to arrive. When we came back later that night the dirty cups were still there despite the turn-down service. When I called to complain, I was rudely told that housekeeping don't clear dirty crockery and it was our responsibility to call room service for collection. The beach front bungalows are not easily accessible from the main hotel. If you want to get anywhere you need to call a buggy which can take up to 20 minutes to arrive, sometimes not arriving at all. All in all if I could give this property a minus rating, I would. Rude staff, dated amenities, filthy rooms and a total disregard for customer service. Never again would I visit here and I would strongly discourage others from visiting. The Lagonissi is far from being grand.

El desayuno es una ruptura. ¡Es demasiado caro para un par de trozos de tostadora y un huevo duro cocido, no reciba el desayuno aquí! ¿La habitación era espaciosa? Sí, pero me sentí inseguro porque las puertas no estaban bien cerradas. El hotel está muy cerca de la playa, y el hotel está muy cerca de la ciudad, así que es mejor alquilar un coche o cabar en la ciudad. Por cierto, me agarró en ese ascensor, me llevó al sótano y me agarró allí durante un tiempo. Es una trampa de muerte, no lo uses.

Desde la llegada al hotel, se siente bienvenido. La chica en la recepción le da detalles sobre todo lo que necesita durante su estancia con un gran sonrisa :). La habitación tiene camas agradables muy buenas con aire acondicionado y para la noche es más que suficiente. A ha pedido un transporte para el día siguiente y vino muy agradable con un coche muy agradable. Todo el personal habla fluentemente al menos inglés (la chica también habla muy bien ruso). Sólo puedo recomendar el hotel. Gracias!!!
