If you are planning a visit to Tomar, consider this newly renovated, boutique hotel! Located within walking distance to nearby shops and cafes, it is situated on an island with views of the surrounding river. It is absolutely lovely!! We had a regular room with a balcony outfitted with comfy lounge furniture. The room is beautifully decorated with walnut floors, a modern bathroom, and very comfortable bed. My spouse completed two zoom meetings from the desk comfortably. Included are my two favorites—robes and slippers! The bathroom has a large makeup mirror and LED lighting. It’s modern, efficient, and beautifully designed. We ate at the hotel restaurant both nights. The service is impeccable. If you are fortunate to have George or Francisco as your waiters, ask for their recommendations. We enjoyed both dinners. Breakfast is similar—amazing offerings for a day of sight seeing. The hotel has a small spa. After climbing, walking, and driving, we took advantage of the sauna and hydrotherapy pool. Just ask for the required swim cap to go along with the large towels provided in the room. TripAdvisor photos are no longer accurate. Check out the pics I’ve added and look at the hotel website. Under new management since June, I found this small, yet elegant Hotel when looking for Hotels with Spa to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We both loved the experience and were able to deeply relax and enjoy our short getaway. With a small interior and exterior swimming pool, water circuit and sauna the facilities, here we've experienced one of the best customer services we've had in all of our travels and hotels. From the cleaning staff, to the host, to the manager. All welcoming, thoughtful and sensitive to our needs. Furthermore the hotel is nicely located in the heart of Tomar, only a walking distance from the center and from most relevant places to visit. We ended our getaway planning to return.

We stayed there 3 nights and enjoyed it. The hotel was recently renovated. The rooms are furnished nicely. Ours had a pretty view to the river. The restaurant is beautiful (one part of it facing the park, the over one facing the river!) and we ate there very well. Very good breakfast also. The location is idyllic, on an island in the river, in a park, with huge old poplar trees surrounding the building. The staff took good care of us. You can walk from there to the Convento di Cristo and to the old city. We recommend this hotel very much.

My wife and I have traveled extensively. This hotel is probably among the top values we have ever experienced. There are only a small number of rooms and all are recently updated and modernized. Because it is small, the staff seems to know everyone by name. Such friendliness even seemed to imbue other guests similarly. We loved the restaurant, spa and lobby bar. The restaurant menu was a bit limited but everything we tried was excellent. The hotel manager welcomed us on arrival and said farewell when we left. She was absolutely delightful and even stepped in to perform some concierge work when we had communication issues with a local tour. The only criticism I would offer relate to the spa. They require everyone wear a shower cap for hygiene reasons. Few people travel with caps but the hotel offers them for sale on check in. In addition, the in-room robes and slippers were only suitable for extremely small people. They were laughably small compared to our typical American frames. The slippers fell apart when first tried. This is an issue because the spa floor is dangerously slippery when wet. If you choose to try this gem, please book well in advance. It is new and I expect relatively undiscovered. I suspect that will change rapidly.

Recentemente esta estalagem foi totalmente remodelada. Está muito acolhedora e decorada com muito bom gosto. Os quartos eram todos espetaculares. As refeições que degustamos no restaurante eram bastante saborosas. Os funcionários(as) bastante simpáticos especialmente o chefe de sala o Sr. Jorge e a directora a Sra. Dora. Recomendo vivamente este restaurante e esta estalagem para pernoitar.

Excelente localização, staff profissional e atencioso. Jantamos mto bem no restaurante. A piscina interior é pequena mas fez a delícia dos miúdos. Não tem chaleira no quarto- este foi o único senão. Mas o staff foi super simpático e ajudaram a ter água quente para o biberão do nosso filho.

Ótimo hotel, recém reformado. Gostamos muito da decoração e do conforto do quarto. Jantamos uma noite no restaurante e a comida estava muito saborosa. A localização é excelente, bem no centro histórico de Tomar. Recomendo a Estalagem Santa Iria.

Très bon accueil. Belle chambre avec terrasse donnant sur le jardin. Literie confortable. Nous n'avons pas utilisé la piscine intérieure ni le sauna. L'environnement dans un beau parc avec de grands arbres, sur une petite île, dans le calme, tout en étant en ville. Très belle adresse avec confort.
