I was expecting a quaint little inn, but this was more like one of those smaller motel chains, and probably a little worse. The only good thing about the place was that the lady working there was very nice and helpful.
Room:
- not very clean (had a lot of pet hair and dust on the floor, which our socks caught as soon as we walked around for a few minutes)
- not super good sound isolation from other rooms.
- decent amount of space (we got the 2 queen rooms).
- the door opens to the outside (where you and everyone else parks), which I'm not generally a fan of
Bathroom:
- you can tell that they did not a very good job of refurnishing the bathroom. The tub was stained, fittings were still pretty old
- had an issue with water backup in the sink (I watched them clean it and it was full of weird gunk)
- no bathroom fan
Beds:
- We got the 2 queen room, so that was good
- but the mattresses didn't have proper support. My back was hurting after two nights.
- pillows were good though.
Parking:
- free
Food options:
- none on-site (but Jeremy's right next door is fantastic) and there are a few options within 5 minutes walking
Pool:
- under renovation (this was not made clear anywhere while booking).
We paid about $550 for two nights (during a long weekend) and that felt like a ripoff. For something around $100-130 a night, this is probably more worth it.
