Al Baleed Salalah Resort by Anantara

Al Baleed Resort has great location with miles of unspoilt white sand beach. Eating options are limited to only 3 restaurants. The breakfast at the Salkana restaurant is extremely good with great service from all the staff. However, the dinner buffet for the Indian night was below average with some dishes that did NOT do justice to the Indian Cuisine. There is much room for improvement on food quality and taste. The Al Mina restaurant (Mediterranean Cuisine) was very disappointing in terms of vegetarian options and general service. On one occasion we had to wait 40 minutes before even the bread & olive oil were brought to the table!

Overall one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. Side note; I live in the UAE, where 5 stars hotel are really common. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, the beds super comfy and the washrooms are every woman's dream (lightning, mirrors and amouage amenities). Staff is super attentive, accommodating and naturally friendly. They actually love what they do and we as guests can feel it's authenticity - which makes everything dining experience really special. The food was beyond delicious and the variety in the buffet made it hard to choose and even harder to not overeat. Congratulations to the management and leadership of the hotel team - you truly do an amazing job. I will definitely be back!

The resort wes amazing and staff were very friendly. Everything in the hotel were above standard including the breakfast however the price was high

This is our first time staying in here and everything from the room to the food was beyond our expectation. Mekong restaurant a must try! We loved it so much! The staff is very welcoming and helpful,and polite. I want to extend a special thank you to Tara, Cory, yasmeen,Burgah, Yussuf, Tum, Maricel, Raquel, Selly, Made, Yashi, Arif, Thank you for the rest of the team. Our first time experience in beautiful Salalah. Where does one even begin… My husband and I chose to spend our 30th wedding anniversary here at Anantara. We knew from the moment we were picked up at the airport by Habib, that we were going to be in for absolutely out of this world experience! The resort is like a piece of paradise. Takes your breath away. Laden with tropical coconut and papaya trees amongst the azure gulf coast. The incredible hospitality and warmth shown by every single member of staff at this heavenly resort is one you will cherish and reminisce forever. The attention to detail in personalising and enhancing your experience is just in a league of its own. From making sure we had the most accessible room due to husbands mobility, to the generosity of the housekeeping staff who had adorned our room with welcome gifts, treats and messages. The warmth and kindness shown at all meal times by all the staff is truly remarkable. Assad and his infectious smile, Made a true gentleman and forever friendly Yashi. Mariachel and Yuli could not do enough…our personal taste buds and preferences were always catered for without even being asked. Exceptional service and hospitality by all. We arranged to explore Salalah with in house guru Hussain. Again he made sure we were comfortable throughout our journey. Another amazing kind hearted human being who took us around both the city and the east coast. Had some great conversations! It was also very refreshing to see managers checking in on guests and making genuine conversation. We had the privilege of speaking to the lovely Munira, who arranged for a complimentary late check out due to a late flight home. What a difference this made on our final day. Was really, really appreciated. A remarkable act of kindness - reflective of all Omani people who made us feel so welcome throughout the duration of our stay. To each and every one of you. This is my third time staying at Al Baleed Resort Salalah, and each visit has been nothing short of exceptional. Every time I spend my time here, it’s always the best experience. I want to extend a special thank you to Ma’in ( supervisor villa house ) Yousuf ( villa host butler, ) and the entire staff for their outstanding hospitality. Their dedication to providing top-notch service truly enhances the overall experience. A special mention goes to Mr. Andrea, the general manager, who always ensures everything is perfect and his team is doing an excellent job. His leadership is clearly reflected in the resort's high standards. The housekeeping was impeccable, the service was flawless, and the villa was perfect in every way. I can't recommend this resort highly enough. Looking forward to my next visit!
