Sitio hermoso. Increíble vista y una casa llena de detalles. La verdad que la pasamos súper bien. La atención muy buena. Los chicos que nos atendieron, Josué y William muy amables.

Nos encantó ir allí, pero no pensamos volver.
El precio del alojamiento es demasiado caro para lo que ofrece. Las taquillas olían a humedad y la piscina estaba sucia.

Si está buscando un hotel tranquilo en una hermosa ubicación cerca del pulso de Río, este es el hotel adecuado. Bellamente ubicado en sus propios terrenos en Santa Teresa con mágicas vistas del pico de azúcar y los barrios adyacentes y el mar. En pocos minutos en auto puede llegar a las partes centrales de Santa Teresa. Las playas y los distritos de Ipanema y Leblon se encuentran a unos 30 minutos. Una entrada algo complicada al hotel, pero una vez allí estás en un hermoso oasis. Pequeño hotel ubicado en una villa privada más antigua con habitaciones grandes y agradables. Desayuno encantador y cenas acogedoras (la calidad de la comida en sí podría haber sido un poco mejor, pero el servicio es de primera clase). Gran jardín fantástico con vegetación tropical y bonita piscina. La vista de la bahía, Flamengo y Botafogo, así como el Pan de Azúcar siempre es notable. Pasamos un fin de semana largo y quedamos súper satisfechos, ¡volveremos!

This hotel was more of an experience than just somewhere to stay! Just a handful of rooms - with an extraordinary situation right on top of one of the stunning hills overlooking Rio. Because of this incredible location, it's a bumpy and quite long taxi ride from the airport / centre - but it's well worth the bumpy ride to reach the peace and serenity of Vila Santa Teresa. We loved it. The staff were wonderful and could not do enough to help us. Yasmin and Veneesus in particular were so helpful and really went out of their way to make our stay an amazing experience! We thoroughly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a peaceful haven from Rio's craziness, with lovely staff and the best view of Rio and Sugarloaf Mountain, I'm sure, of any hotel! The food was amazing too!

First class boutique hotel. It is up a hill overlooking Rio. A lot of thought given to the Desigen. It is a converted colonial Portuguese mansion. It is in a middle of a wonderful set of tropical gardens . The sight of Rio from above is stunning. Rooms are very large nicely decorated. Strong WiFi and in room smart TV with all sorts of streaming services. Warm and professional seevice. Excellent cooked breakfast. Excellent but rather pricey dinner (200$ us for 2). It is a very large dinner so easy to settle for 1 dinner shared by 2. So all in all wonderful experience! However : The hotel is far from Rio city life. Uber drivers refuse to go there as it is up a hill with a narrow road. Taxi drivers get lost! So if you are intersted in the night life of Rio (we were not) and would like to use the hotel during the day think twice. If you are looking for an oasis to relax at the end of a busy Rio day then this is the place!! Ask the hotel for a typed explanation how to get there and give it to the taxi driver

The views from our suite were unforgettable!! It was a paradise in all aspects of the word. And the staff would do anything for you to make your stay perfect. Yasmin was just the perfect person for the job, and she made our stay a dream come true! We had the time of our lives and Yasmin was a big part of that. Vila Santa Theresa is an even better hotel thanks to her. Our trip was truly memorable!

This was not a hotel, this was a home This was luxury living at its best. I felt like I was living in a celebrity world of exclusivity and comfort. There are only 7 guest suites so was very private. The staff was excellent, the rooms extremely comfortable, the food delicious, and the views unexplainable. It was very difficult to leave this paradise. I have only a few comments. The pool was nice, but would be nice if it was skimmed with a net each morning to catch the few bugs and leaves. (by the way there were not many bugs here or really anywhere in Rio). Also it is a bit difficuly for cab and uber drivers to find. One we knew how to get there it was not a problem and they called taxis for us for pick up. IT wqas worth it though as this was the most spectacular place I have ever stayed.

Booked a suite for my 40th. I arrive around 10am, check-in is at 3pm so the staff said have breakfast and hangout until the room is ready. Im eating breakfast and a female guest starts yelling and throwing her hands up. Said that I shouldn't be here. The staff removed my plate, asked if I could leave, picked up my bag and escorted me out. He requested I not come back until 3pm. Not a pleasant welcome. . .other than that, room was clean, food was delicious, staff was nice. I wanted to book a helicopter but they said I had to have other people with me. Im a solo traveler.

Excellent stay in a quiet retreat which was a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Private, secluded with a delicious breakfast and an outstanding view. The staff was exceptional including Alessandro who helped me with everything from restaurant reservations to transportation, my cleaning service by Adrienne was excellent and all the supporting staff including Leonardo. I would definitely return. Highly secure property and really love the view!
