Legacy Vacation Resorts - Reno

It was super slow to check in and there was so much confusion at the front desk. It took almost one hour to check in and with kids , it was so inconvenient. Then they did not offer the two queen bed that we booked and instead gave us a one queen bed. I was super upset that as family we cannot sleep together and one has to sleep on the sofa. I was about to cancel the appoin**ent and go to another hotel but I was traveling with other family friends who all booked in the same hotel. My friend requested for another makeshift bed for my family and they finally relented and offered us the bed in the living room but we could not sleep together as a family and it kinda ruined our trip. Do not book at this hotel because they would not honor their words.

The property is in a horrible part of town, with very limited parking. if you have a large vehicle there are only 6 spots to park in that are labled Truck/suv parking, however they do not make small vehicle move if they park there. Also they advertised an arcade, game room and putt putt golf course. However, only 2 of the 5 games they had actualy worked. In the game room the fooseball table was broken, but they did have a pool table that was fully operational and the putt putt couse was unusable. Most of the boards were broken or coming apart with screws sticking out all over the place. The hotel also shuts down the Air conditioning to half of the rooms during winter, so you have to request a fan for your room (unless your ok with your room being 80 degrees at night.) The one redeaming quality was the pool and sauna unfortunatly we were only able to use it for one day because other guests were using it for a party room for 4 hours each day we were there. And the final and biggest issue was the service. If you need anything you better be ok with waiting all day for it because they work at a very slow pace. When we requested a fan for the room we were told it would only take a few minutes. Also, someone had to be in the room to accept the fan. We requested it at around 230 and didnt receve a fan till after 6 so had to waste our entire afternoon waiting for sothing that should have taken 5 min. Was an uterly horible experience start to finish.

I liked the amenities and indoor pool option. The central heating is very loud and a bit disruptive of sleep. I would stay again due to amenities, location, and value.

Laundry Amenities: Yes there are washers and dryers there, but they were out of service the entire duration of my stay. Not good. I was there over 3 weeks and always there was a note on both washers: “out of service. Sorry for the inconvenience.” Well, “sorry” doesn’t really get things fixed. When i complained about it, all I ever got was “Sorry.” I saw no effort made to fix them. “Sorry” isn’t “sustainable” either, CEO of Legacy Resorts! There was bad a water leak directly outside my door every morning. I stepped in a puddle of water every day when I went out the door. I can say that my room was well maintained and well stocked. The staff took good care of the guests except for the laundry room and the old water pipes.

It was one of the worst hotel experiences ever. We travel over 30,000 miles a year and all we ask of for courteous service and clean. This place is neither.

CHECK IN STAFF WERE VERRY RUDE TO ME AND MY GRANDDAUGHTER.THEY PUT ME IN A BACK ALLY ROOM INSTED OF A INDOOR HALLWAY ROOM.THEY WERE NOT FULL! THIS WAS THERE CHOICE!

Arrived to find out that despite advertising as pet friendly, no pets allowed and 100 dollar deposit not mentioned in the charges of total costs. Not very friendly.
