We go to Italy and holiday frequently. Having not been to Sicily before I thought we would give it a go. When looking for places to stay we landed on The Best Western and liked what we saw about the Hotel. We returned to the UK on Monday (26 Jun) after a full week of exploring the Island. (not nearly enough time) Our hire car from Catania airport broke down en route 10km from the hotel. The hire company we're unhelpful and gave a number for a recovery firm to pick up the vehicle. We called the hotel and the reception staff were incredibly helpful. They arranged for a taxi to pick up my partner to the hotel, I waited for recovery. The recovery arrived some 3 hours later and took the car back to Cartania leaving me roadside. The hotel arranged for another taxi to pick me up. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, quiet and very clean. The room has more than enough space and facilities, we were on B&B basis but ate in the hotel in the evening. Again, the reception staff were wonderful and arranged for a local car hire company to deliver a car to the hotel, considerably cheaper than at the airport, a better car that was more comfortable. The swimming pool is in a prime position with uninterrupted views out to sea and the hotel backdrop is equally wonderful. The food was always presented beautifully and we never had a meal we didn't enjoy, the waiting staff were very attentive. The litmus test, would we go and stay there again, absolutely we would.

Desde hace unos 5 años, incluso sólo por un día, vuelvo a este hotel que en sus estrellas hace pulsar un corazón encantado de profesionalidad, pero, sobre todo, de calidad relacional. Acogida (Loredana al escritorio está preparado, formado, concreto,coordinar los servicios de forma cuidadosa y rápida); higiene máxima (el equipo de Nancy es discreto, listo, eficiente).El desayuno es rica, con la posibilidad de ordenar platos preparados en el momento (spicca Salvo para los delicios tanto salados como dulces), por lo tanto con productos frescos y excelentes, no superfluos ni comerciales, sino locales. Las cocinas siempre han sido buenas, esta vez no comimos, pero los demás huéspedes parecían satisfechos. La zona de piscina es un recurso alternativo al mar, por sí sola extraordinario, pero válido para disfrutar del relax local y los colores naturales alrededor. La vista es inútil. Los titulares se distinguen por motivación y generosidad, son proactivos.
