We stayed for 3 nights, used as a base to explore Naples and visit Vesuvius and Pompeii. The hotel is beautiful, exceptionally clean and very nice, modern decor. Huge, comfortable bed and we had a lovely view of Vesuvius and side sea view (Deluxe room, 3rd floor). Staff are excellent, very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very nice buffet style and you can request omelettes to order. We ate in the restaurant on our first night, in our opinion this was a little over priced for the quality of the food. There are plenty of very good quality restaurants within a short walking distance (10 - 15 minutes) or the hotel shuttle will take you and pick you up free of charge. We used the hotel shuttle for airport transfers and would recommend this, at £50 Euros each way this is around the same cost as arranging yourself but more convenient. The train station is around 10 mins walking distance and the hotel will take you if you prefer. Train to Naples takes around 15 mins. The hotel arranged a day tour of Vesuvius and Pompeii for us before our arrival, we would highly recommend this option - minibus with a guide collects you from the hotel and the whole excursion is around 9 hours including lunch at a picturesque pizzeria in the hills and a guide for Pompeii (Vesuvius guides are free of charge and you pick one up when you arrive in your chosen language). Cost was around 100 Euros per person. Pool area is lovely and waiter service for food and drinks to your sunbed. The pool is very cold! Only real negative for us was the shower - very small cubicle for such a lovely large hotel room and modern bathroom! We would visit this hotel again as a perfect location for visiting Naples but away from the hustle and bustle! The grounds are peaceful and the views are stunning but it is within easy reach of the amenities in Portici and very close to Naples centre via train.

The location of the hotel is twofold - not in a very tidy area, but that's not the hotel's fault, but it is only a 10 minute walk to the port to catch a ferry to the Isle of Capri and there is a supermarket (with alcohol) just around the corner). It's a large hotel, with a huge foyer/lobby, which houses the reception area, a lounge (with a large TV), a bar and two central lifts - two lifts in a hotel; what a bonus!! The total area had retro furniture, but it was a little sterile, perhaps too cavernous and the bar was only open for limited hours. Notwithstanding that, the accommodation was good. A large room, comfortable bed, good shower, although perhaps the bathroom was a little small in proportion to the room, air con, safe, fridge and free wi-fi. No complaints whatsoever. The breakfast room/restaurant is on the top floor with a great view over the port and the Tyrrhenian Sea and on a clear day, you can sea Capri. It is an enormous room with some very large, round tables, which is great for a group of people to converse with each other, but with 14 and 30 seats respectively, perhaps just too big. Breakfast was good for cold options, although no orange juice or decent bread for toast. Our tour included dinner in the restaurant as well and that too, was very reasonable. All in all, a good stay for two nights.

Excelentes habitaciones, la mejor cama en la que he dormido. Al otro lado de la carretera desde la terminal de ferry a Capri / Sorrento, etc., cerca de los principales distritos comerciales y turísticos. ¡Reciba consejos sobre restaurantes del portero experto!

Hoteles muy recomendados, puede que el precio del invierno sea muy bueno, la residencia de verano también vale la pena, el paisaje del mar es incómodo, el restaurante de la parte superior del hotel es muy comido y muy bonito

We enjoyed our 8 day/7night stay. The language barrier was the most difficult part, but once the communication barrier was crossed, the staff was very helpful in every way. We spoke with Martina and Antonio most of the time. They go out of their way to help. There is breakfast available and free with some packages. I was not a fan of the breakfast. The bacon was not crisp. More like English bacon. There was a nice bar. The hotel is old and “majestic” with its marble floors and walls. The rooms are big with a seating area. The bathroom was big enough, although the shower was small and old. Rust was evident and the door didn’t work so well, but the water was hot and the stream was strong. The most important part of any shower. Everything was clean. We had a beautiful view from the 9th floor. The elevators are small, but not as small as some European elevators that we have been in. Everything is elegant. Don’t expect many amenities, but there were nice toiletries and a very large fitness center (more like a ballroom). You can get water there, to refill your water bottle. There is not coffee or tea in your room, but there is a small fridge at your disposable. There is also a hair dryer. It wasn’t mentioned on the web, so I brought one. Be careful when using your own hair tools, you’ll need a power converter, not just an adapter. The hotel is central to everything! Close to a metro line and the funicular. It’s between two ferry ports, both walkable. Short walk to the Chaia. Lots of shopping. Reminded me of the Champs Ellysee or Rodeo drive. We are walkers and most everything is within a mile. NOTE: if you have allergies, there is perfume everywhere. The hotel reeks of perfume. I developed an allergy reaction and was sick a few days. I told them not to spray my room and I did not linger in the common area. We loved the convenience and safe area. Everything we wanted to see was easily accessible. Tours are plentiful.

La habitación era muy amplia y con una ventana grande que miraba la carretera principal, aunque no se podía oír ningún ruido del tráfico si se cerraban las ventanas. A/C fue un poco ruidoso durante la noche. TV un poco pequeña. No hay problema con la habitación, no hay problemas de limpieza. No me gustaba el desayuno, pero creo que es el caso con todos los hoteles en Italia, así que hay que aceptarlo. También el cheque en el tiempo antes de las 10:00 es un poco demasiado pronto. Muchos otros hoteles le permiten al menos las 11:00 y algunos incluso las 12:00. En general, tuve una buena experiencia y puedo recomendar este hotel, me quedaría sin duda otra vez.

Me parece vergonzoso que en un hotel Hilton, 5*, con 2 años de antigüedad y con una tarifa superior 500 euros noche te vendan habitaciones con acceso sin ascensor. Este fin de semana estuve con mi esposa y mi hijo de 2 años, escogimos una habitación familiar y nos encontramos que al ir a la habitación 141 ya no es que no hubiera ascensor para llegar si no que tienes que subir una planta a pie salir a un patio y seguir subiendo una planta más, todo esto con las maletas a cuestas, con el carrito y nuestro hijo a cuestas. Pero para rematarlo solicitamos un transfer para ir a una boda y para la vuelta no pudieron encontrar( hasta ahí todo correcto ) , pero nos dicen que no nos preocupemos y que llamemos a la a la recepción para solicitar un taxi. Cuando a la noche mi esposa llama a la recepción para pedir el taxi le dicen que en recepción no hacen ese servicio y a pesar de explicarles que nosotros no hablamos italiano, les dio absolutamente igual y nos tuvimos que buscar la vida. Eso si está mañana a la salida todo era peloteo y que la próxima vez que vuela ( NUNCA ) , me harían un buen precio. Hay que tener muy poca VERGÜENZA !!!

Estaba justo en frente del castillo de huevos y tenía una vista magnífica. Las habitaciones también eran lo suficientemente grandes y tenían un color tranquilo. Para el desayuno, hubo muchos dulces como panqueques, rosquillas y bubba, y todos estaban deliciosos.

Our room was nicely spacious and well furnished. The bed was comfortable, there was a good sized wardrobe and a decent desk. The room was beautifully decorated, fresh and spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a good shower, and was roomy plus, again, very well decorated. Also came with a hairdryer on the wall which I was very happy with. We didn't actually meet the owner but they were very helpful on WhatsApp. The internet was good once we realised logging into the named internet with our floor number made it stronger. Despite the cosmetic looks of the area we did actually feel safe and found the locals to be very friendly and helpful (although English is not prevalent). If you are visiting the Tabbaco shop at the bottom of the hill sells bus tickets but is shut on Sundays. Next door the mini supermarket is very well priced (well compared to UK prices). The buses leave from opposite the little newsstand (back side of it not the front) and head to Naples Central in about 15mins. Taxi from the Central Station was a maximum of 16euro and from the airport 30euro I can not comment on value for money as we booked a package deal but despite the location I would stay again because it was so nice, stylish, quiet and comfortable. Thank you to the owner for the help with the city tax we appreciated it

El hotel Herculaneum está situado justo frente a la entrada de las cavernas de Ercolano, cerca de la estación de la circunvesuiana, muy cómodo para los huéspedes que quieren visitar el antiguo Ercolano. Nosotros habíamos reservado una habitación doble, pero nos han honrado un upgrade, haciendo que nos hospedamos en una triple muy amplia. La habitación está limpia y equipada con todo lo que necesita y así el baño, con tantas toallas y una ducha grande. El desayuno, satisfactorio, dulce y salada, se sirve en una hermosa sala de vista del mar y excavaciones. La noche primero debemos comunicar el horario elegido y los alimentos que se gustan, cumplimentando una ficha, pienso debido a las restricciones Covid. En la proximidad del hotel hay muchos bares, pizzerias, restaurantes y tiendas de diferentes clases para cada necesidad. En conclusión, una excelente estancia en una ubicación agradable y no caro. El personal es muy amable y preparado. Seguramente una buena estancia para aconsejar.
