This is a beautiful homestay in the middle of an ancient village and close to the main road. If you do not want to walk, they have a rental bike. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although they speak little English, Google Translate has helped. They serve a beautiful table service breakfast. Like most farm homestays in China. They do not have a restaurant. But there is a big one in the next village, and it is walkable. Otherwise, the main square will be 10 minutes away by (DiDI) taxi. The homestay is a renovated Diaolou built over 100 years ago. The stairs were shallow and steep because it is the originals. You can read about their beautiful and extraordinary transformation on the wall of the beautiful Lobby. The room was beautifully furnished, and the A/C and WiFi work beautifully, especially in Southern China. The humidity could be unbearable, which is a big plus. The shower was large and clean, with plenty of hot water. There were also a lot of outside areas. Some rooms also include a private patio and balcony. The amenities were first class: a very comfortable bed and fresh sheets. I highly recommend this place to stay if you want to visit Kaiping. I will be back again. Book fast. This hotel is located near the huge Wanda Plaza shopping mall complex and so is super convenient. The luxury coach from the international airport stops at the hotel just across the road, which makes it very accessible and direct route to the airport. There is a famous dim sum restaurant among the low level shops and eateries behind. The shopping mall is great for shopping and many good restaurants are at the third floor inside the mall.It is on high floor and the room outside view is nice. The room is spacious, the bed is big and comfortable. There is also a washing machine inside the room where we do our laundry every two days. There is no dryer so have to improvise drying the clothes on the grilles at the windows. Considering the good room rate, it is worth to choose to stay at this well-equipped and big room and enjoyed the surrounding amenities, mall, restaurants and parks. Will choose this again if coming back to Jiangmen.

The hotel is super nice, with a lovely garden with a pond of fish and a Cafeteria. The room is essential but has everything one might need. The village of Tangkou is adorable, has many local spots for very good and cheap meals, as well as some nice shops and a beautiful library. The area of the Kaiping Diaolou and Villages is absolutely beautiful and unreal, easy to reach from the hotel, with one of the villages (Zili) even at a walkable distance. Loved everything, really recommend

The place is quite interesting, looking more like a museum than a hostel. However it looked a little run down and rough. Room 308 was huge but didn't feel cozy. It was cold at night and the heater was not working well. There is a bad sound isolation so I could hear every word that the people next to my room spoke. The young female receptionist that checked me in when I arrived was very helpful. She managed to rent an E- bike for me ! She deserves 5 stars for that. The location is alright, near some coffeeshops and restaurants and close to Zili and Li Garden historical sites.
