Get this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave. Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play. The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way. The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned. The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture) If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China. However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too. These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host! I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

El jefe es muy bueno y muy intimido. En el edificio, publicó una estrategia turística del Mar del Norte, la sanidad popular está limpia, está cerca de la playa de plata, también ofrece una experiencia de atracción gratuita (necesidad de reservar en el adelantado), además de atraer los instrumentos de atracción, los coches eléctricos están disponibles gratis, especialmente cuidadosamente!!!

Servicio de traslado al aeropuerto/estación de tren: El hotel ofrece un servicio de traslado con los vehículos eléctricos turísticos más comunes de la isla. Estos vehículos se adaptan perfectamente a las carreteras de la isla y el trayecto dura tan solo diez minutos desde el desembarque, lo que le permitirá disfrutar de la brisa y el paisaje. También se pueden alquilar vehículos eléctricos para explorar la isla con mayor comodidad. Servicios: Se ofrece fruta en la habitación a la llegada. Se sirve un desayuno gratuito antes de las 9:30 h. Se ofrece asistencia con el equipaje. Instalaciones: El hotel cuenta con lavandería, restaurante, piscina, tumbonas y un patio con hermosas plantas tropicales. Los alrededores son muy tranquilos. En resumen, ¡muy recomendable! ¡Excelente relación calidad-precio durante la temporada baja!

Cute little homestay run by very attentive hosts. There’s a small pool and during Chinese holidays it’s best for families with young children. Host speaks some English, is very helpful and friendly and will communicate with you on wechat. Some issues were lack of WiFi, some bed bites although everything looked very clean and the walk to silver beach which although less than 10min, in Aug ’23 wasn’t very pleasant because of construction and large puddles in the alleyways. The breakfast was a nice taste of local specialties but could include some healthier items like vegetables or yoghurt to set you up for the day (chinese breakfasts usually include boiled sweet potatoes, corn and green veg) as it was a lot of rice wraps, dough and jelly cakes. A major plus is the use of the washing machine and dryer which most hotels don't offer.

This homestay hotel is an excellent choice for me and other travellers who like to explore Weizhou island. Mr Lin is the owner who ensures the guests feel welcomed and comfortable staying. He is a kind and generous guy who takes effort and time to send me to the scenic areas because he cares for his guest's safety as I don't really know the places and traffic conditions in the island. The location of this homestay is about 1.5 km away from the island passenger jetty and hawker stalls. He also provides scenic areas of island exploration tips. He even waited for me to pick up from and drop off at the passenger jetty when I arrived and departed the island. The hygiene or cleanliness of the room and toilet is top level. I highly recommend to all travellers to stay at this homestay which offers the best value for money.

This hotel is managed by a friendly family from the Northeast who helped with everything they could, even my laundry. The rooms are large and new with mosquito nets, you could ask for 3rd floor which has more light. It is located in a very good spot, just a few steps to Beihai Silver beach Middle entry (free access) so you can walk the beach in both directions. In that Middle gate there is also cheap and convenient transport to the International port if you would like to visit Weizhou island. Lots of restaurants, shops and activities nearby. All smooth and without problems.

La ubicación es muy buena, justo cerca de la playa de plata, caminar a la orilla de la mar en unos minutos. ¡Mirar el sol por la mañana y caminar por la noche es muy conveniente, no tienes que bajar en coche, salir es el panorama, es demasiado seguro. Amazing Beachfront Stay in Beihai I recently stayed at a beach view hotel in Beihai with a few friends, and the experience was fantastic! The room was spacious, modern, and had all the amenities we needed. The highlight was definitely the stunning view of the ocean right from our balcony—perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The bathtub facing the ocean was an absolute treat, allowing us to unwind while enjoying the incredible sunset. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we found it convenient to prepare our own meals when we felt like staying in. The hotel is located just steps from the beach, so we were able to enjoy the sand and sea without any hassle. The balcony was a great spot to hang out with friends, with comfortable seating and an unbeatable view of the water. Overall, this stay was perfect for a relaxing and fun getaway with friends. Highly recommended if you're looking for a beachside retreat with all the comforts of home!
