UUsuario invitadoGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave.
Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play.
The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way.
The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned.
The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture)
If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe.
I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China.
However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too.
These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host!
I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

衞生：非常整潔！完全大大滴放心！
環境：一進院子裏真的感覺像到摩洛哥了！我感覺老闆裝修得特別用心，包括到每一塊瓷磚！完全不是那種隨便一個房子改造成的民宿！真的滿滿摩洛哥風格！太喜歡了！包括房間裏的每一個陳設擺件都可以看得出老闆的用心，特別特別好看！島上住在這樣一個小院子裏，真的太舒服了！
服務：老闆和老闆娘都超級熱情！！要是滿分10分我給11分！首先從碼頭接送服務開始，老闆會提前問好你上下船的時間（我自己都忘了去問，老闆自己來問我，太感動了！）然後還會專門租車過來接送，感覺比那種觀光車好一百倍，因為島上很熱在車裡可以吹空調！行李也是老闆一直主動幫忙提！下船後有點暈船，老闆還很貼心的主動給我們弄了檸檬水，喝完之後整個人都舒服多了！我們一共住了三天，我感覺老闆對我們完全就是有應必回！需要的東西衹要有的話都會給我們提供，還會很貼心給我們介紹推薦景點和餐廳！真的特別特別好！第一天晚上特別餓，在餐廳點了一碗麪特別好吃，還是雙蛋！最後一天的時候請老闆幫忙加工了海鮮，我感覺做得比外面的餐廳還要用心，感覺還有精緻擺盤呦！而且味道絕對不輸外面餐廳，太好吃了！我們就是一整個光盤行動！！總之！在這個小院住的每一刻都特別幸福，特別開心，希望下次來到還可以住到這裏！！（有一種回家的歸屬感）

UUsuario invitadoVery quaint and aesthetic bed and breakfast. Situated in a small village that is a 8-10 minute walk to the five colours volcanic beach. The room we rented had a beach house feel with high ceilings and white washed beams. The pool is beautiful and clean. The beds are very comfortable and the deck looks out to the ocean and the village. The breakfast is noodles or congee with assorted condiments and side dishes and very delicious. The downsides may be that as a foreigner, you cannot rent a small car, only a small scooter if you have experience and they don’t have didi (like uber) service on the island only tuk tuk like cars that the hotel has to call for you. The shower room in our specific space also needs upgrading although the pressure is adequate. Staff is helpful but would need translation if conversing in languages other than mandarin.

YYuanbaodeyoushanwanshuiPrimero, encuentre a su jefe, el señor Lin, y me da una experiencia de alojamiento muy buena y buenas memorias a mi padre y a mi madre. También he leído algunos comentarios de los populares de los hoteles antes de la colonización de la isla de Shanghai. He encontrado que el jefe era un chinín y nosotros somos una ciudad vieja. No pensé que sería una semana más. Los padres no apreciaban la evaluación del jefe Lin. No pensé que en un lugar tan cómodo en la isla de Huaxia nos sentiría tan caliente y tan bonito como volver a casa. El jefe cambia personalmente los objetos de lavandería. ¡Es realmente responsable de cada huésped!
El entorno: un lugar muy tranquilo. Escuchar el pájaro en el jardín todo el día, beber la canción toda la noche, escuchar la música y ver las luces de aire en el jardín, es un día agradable y tranquilo.
