Helpful friendly staff at reception Good location. The bathroom in my room had an unpleasant odour, smell, possibly the pipes from the toilets, was clean but the smell was very unpleasant. Bathroom needs ripping out & updating & new pipes for toilet. Not good for light sleepers like myself - can hear drunks outside & people outside at night. The train going past on the bridge is a lil noisy & the guests in other room made noise. Comfy bed & nice sized room & view. Hard working housekeepers who do an EXCELLENT job 💫💫💫 Good value for money.

La habitación estaba muy cansada. Esta habitacion es un hermoso hotel, pero ahora, de nuestra experiencia reciente, es muy peludo y no hay chicles. Linda recepción y áreas de comedor, pero nuestra habitación no era definitivamente lo que Hilton usa para defender. La habitación era muy cansada, la madera estaba encima de la mesa, la mesa de la cabeza de la madera tenía numerosas áreas de barra/descarga y la baño tenía moldeado. No estoy seguro de si todas las habitaciones tienen estas cuestiones nuestras sólo las que recibe si se reserva a través de trip.com.

I think this could be a really nice hotel with a few tweaks. The location is great, down a quiet side street away from traffic and noisy bars/clubs. Our room was a good size and felt comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and check in/out was fast and easy. The main let-down was cleanliness. I felt the cleaning could be more thorough, especially in the bathroom, as the grout was visibly pink. There was also dust under the desk and behind the chair. Noise was also a problem for us. I understand that this is not the fault of the hotel but the guests, but the noise does travel quite easily so I was woken up late night and early morning. Doors could be adjusted so they don't slam and the rooms could be better soundproofed.

The hotel is located next to Newcastle Central station minutes from the Cathedral, the Castle, the centre of the city near Monument. The hotel entrance has a faded grandeur that isn't intimidating, more comfortably worn. The room was cosy with bathtub and shower. The WiFi was a little temperamental but works fine. A plus for me was the pool and spa facilities at the hotel. Nothing better than a swim to start the day. Excellent location and good value hotel.

I don't think there a better location if your coming to Newcastle on train. The hotel is just infront of the train station and metro. Lots of good food option everything is walkable from the hotel. Tidy rooms comfortable bed good price.

Depends what you want. We just needed somewhere to stay over after a concert. The downstairs is a massive loud bar, very popular with young folk. But upstairs, in the hotel rooms, you hear the noise less, and bar closes at 11pm. Hotel is rather shabby, but rooms are fine and have what you need. There’s a £50 deposit against damage. Staff were brilliant, really nice. Basic breakfast in a bag, as part of price, was unexpected bonus… or you can pay extra for cooked. Not a slap up luxury hotel, but fine for a basic stay over. I’d use it again.

I booked this for my Grandaughter and I to attend an appointment in Newcastle at 1.30pm and also a concert in the evening at the arena. Arriving well before check in at 3pm, the receptionist kindly allowed us to park in the hotel car park thus enabling us not to have to move the car from the metro station opposite later. This was a great help- thankyou. We checked in after our appointment and got our key for room 23. It was nice and cosy with the heating on and extremely clean. I did struggle to turn off the cold tap fully in the bathroom but my Grandaughter sorted it...maybe needs some attention from a professional. After getting changed, we headed back up town on the metro where we enjoyed seeing Rick Astley. It was quite late when we returned hungry but the hotel was fine with us ordering a McDonald's delivery from Kingston Park. All in all with breakfast included in the price, we had a super time. El hotel ofrece una atmósfera tranquila y relajada, perfecta para las estancias de ocio y negocios. Las habitaciones son limpias, las camas son cómodas y todas las comodidades estándar están disponibles. El personal es amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. La ubicación es conveniente, con fácil acceso a atracciones y transporte. El precio es razonable, lo hace muy valioso por dinero.

Great location, nice little room, it's listed as an apartment but I wouldn't say it's big enough to be considered one. My only problem with the room was the cleanliness, the walls and floors had a lot of marks and dirt, same with the curtains. It made the trip slightly less comfortable. It could have also done with Aircon as it was very warm. To sum up - Pros - Great location, comfortable bed, mini kitchen with kettle, fridge and tea & coffee provided. Even some biscuits too. The price was great for a Saturday night during a big Newcastle event we spent £55 which was way cheaper than most other hotels in the area. Cons - wasn't very clean and the check in was a little awkward as our keys wouldn't work. If this was improved my rating would be a lot higher.
