I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chestnuts Boutique B&B! I was able to park up my car at the front of the establishment and walk around Bath for the rest of my visit! Attractions and places of interest were around a 15 minute walk away- which is fantastic! The host was so helpful and attentive. My room was clean and comfortable! I had access to plenty of wardrobe space,a TV with Netflix, a fridge, kettle and a well stocked box of tea treats (& fresh cakes too!) Breakfast was gorgeous and fresh. There were plenty of local leaflets available to read about local events and attractions too. Thank you very much!

El hotel está situado en la antigua zona de la ciudad, y puede llegar en diez minutos a pie a todos los lugares de interés. La habitación es grande y limpia. No es conveniente que no haya agua caliente en la habitación, necesita agua caliente o café para obtener el salón del hotel (gratuito). La habitación 25 está por debajo del sótano del hotel, y el piso está arriba, ¡El sonido de la boca de la arteria es limpio en el oído y más confuso!

Lovely place and lovely people. Great customer service/care, great greeting, and what a lovely room, too. I loved everything about this place. Location is not the best (over the hill) but has great views of the city. Breakfast is good and the whole place gives you a cozy feeling that you'd like to stay at this lovely B&B more. Stayed for one night but would certainly choose this place if I get back to Bath again. Thanks.

I would like to thank the staff for everything they had done for me and my wife after I mad a awful mistake that is to embarrassing to go into ... all I can say is they literally made sure I was not going to be let down and time ruined by going above and beyond anything they needed to do to make my stay a beautiful one after my error ......the food was lovely and also everything was as it was in the pictures if not better something to see for yourself should you go ahead and book a stay .......

El autocontrol fue un poco extraño, ya que no hemos experimentado que antes en el baño, sin embargo, funcionó muy bien y como las instrucciones fueron e-mailadas fue simple. La habitación era increíble y enorme. El baño estaba muy bien con una ducha enorme y el baño en la habitación era una sorpresa inusual pero agradable. El desayuno es muy ordenado y fue absolutamente excelente. ¡El personal era tan agradable y útil- volveremos!

The hotel all in all is very good. Clean, polite staff and location is perfect. Parking will have to be in the public parking around the corner which is about £20 for a day. Online it said the hotel offers halal food but once we got there they said they aren't sure they do it. The staff also informed us that we wouldn't be able to eat at the restaurant that day because they were booked for a function, but we feel this should've been communicated beforehand by email etc. Other than this I think this hotel is the best in the area and is very classy and welcoming.

Located on a hill top outside the Bath city, the hotel provides what we needed for one night's stay. The only shirtcoming is we had to drive into the city for dinner as we wanted something different from what the hotel restaurant provided. Apart from the location, we were happy with our stay.

Attended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful. We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest. The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss. One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go. Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109. Reception staff are very friendly warm welcome, room size is ok, bathroom is reasonable but separate taps is an issue should be a mixer tap for both hot and cold water, Great parking space, breakfast is very nice I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable on our last of breakfast the previous day i had spoken to supervisor of the day to see if they make or buy the mini Crossaints as i wanted to buy a few to take home to my sons, i was informed this is a buffet so im welcome to take as many as i want and as tomorrow is my last day i can take these fresh then, they had no problem in me doing this so on my last day i spoke to the supervisor who said he was informed re this but he doesn't allow this and spoke down to me which made me very uncomfortable as there were other guests there and if it was an issue the supervisor previous day wouldn't have said its ok and that they have done this for other guests, He then said he will not allow me to many but will give me a couple and gave me 3 in a box, i felt very embarrassed and little in that space of time, the way he spoke and his tone was not nice i felt very let down on my last day and this has left me a negative impression

Stayed at Wentworth House for one night. The location was handy — only about a 6 or 7-minute taxi ride into the centre of Bath. Parking on site was free, which is always a bonus, though spaces were limited. The shower worked fine with good hot water, and at £120 a night for three people, the price wasn’t unreasonable for Bath. On the downside, the place is very dated and could do with some serious modernisation. Our room had a noticeable damp smell and the single-glazed windows didn’t help keep the room warm or quiet. I can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat there, but overall, it’s an okay option if you just need somewhere for a night and aren’t too fussy — though a refresh would really lift the place.
