Pasar una noche en el Changdi Inn, enclavado en el corazón del histórico Hongkeng Tulou Cluster, fue una de las experiencias más inolvidables de mi viaje a Xiamen. El hotel se encuentra en un edificio de tierra hakka con siglos de antigüedad, y en cuanto entras, te transportas al pasado. La estancia ofrece una inmersión en la cultura y la arquitectura tradicional hakka, rodeada de gruesos muros de tierra, vigas de madera y detalles antiguos que evocan el pasado. Lo que lo hizo aún más especial fue conocer al amable posadero, descendiente de la sexta generación de la familia que construyó y conservó este tulou. Compartió historias y perspectivas locales, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más significativa. La habitación era sencilla pero limpia y cómoda, combinando el encanto rústico con las comodidades modernas básicas. Pude disfrutar de auténticas comidas hakka, preparadas con cariño y llenas de sabor casero, perfectas después de un día de exploración. Despertarse en el tranquilo entorno del pueblo, observar a los lugareños en su vida diaria y escuchar el canto de los pájaros en el exterior es una escapada única y conmovedora de la ciudad.

Room - my room faces the magnificent Guan Zhai Shan. Every morning wakes up to a scenic view of lush greenery and mountain Location - near to the Guan Zhai Shan entrance. We took a DiDi taxi there which costs about Rmb12. The hotel is also near to the city which is less than 10 mins by DiDi taxi Service - attentive and respectful services at the front desk Hotel amenities - new and luxurious with a nice swimming pool and spacious lobby Atmosphere- very relaxing, spacious and enjoyable feeling Breakfast- last a good variety. Quality of food is generally ok Restaurant - serves delicious Hakka food Overall we had a very enjoyable experience

This was one of our best hotel stay by far and we were totally impressed with the features the hotel provided. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We were blessed to have chosen this hotel not only because our daughter bearing the same name as the hotel, it was also situated at a convenient location, walking distance to delicious breakfast, wholesale fruit market and major attractions.

Una experiencia muy novedosa, las paredes exteriores están llenas de años y la renovación interior se complementa. La habitación está muy limpia, la cama es muy grande y cómoda, y el servicio es cálido y muy recomendable.

Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia de 3 noches en este hotel familiar junto al Tulou. Nos alojamos en una bonita habitación con vistas al río/montaña, bien equipada, con proyector de TV, mesita de noche con carga inalámbrica y camas comodísimas. El jefe y sus dos sobrinos fueron muy hospitalarios y nos brindaron toda la ayuda posible. Todos fueron súper amables y sociables. La comida hakka del hotel es muy buena y durante los meses de verano organizan barbacoas en su patio, ideales para relajarse y socializar con la gente local tomando una copa o dos. Incluso tuvieron fuegos artificiales. Recomiendo encarecidamente el paquete del hotel, que incluye el espectáculo nocturno del tulou y una cena del hotel.

More than a Stay - A Warm Family Welcome in the Heart of the Tulou! From the moment we arrived, we were treated not as tourists, but as guests of the family. The hosts – the Father, Mother, and their Son – are the soul of this place. They are incredibly friendly and go so far above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and special. The Son was our main point of contact and coordinated everything for us with great patience. He arranged our visit to the magnificent 振成楼 (Zhencheng Lou, the ”Prince of Tulou”), with Mother sharing fascinating stories about its history that you won't find in guidebooks. But where this family truly shines is in their genuine care. As overseas visitors, we were completely unfamiliar with local transportation and booking systems for our next destination. The Son sat down with us, helped us navigate the Chinese online systems, booked our train tickets, and gave us detailed instructions for the rest of our journey. He spent a significant amount of his own time to ensure we were set up for success, which was a gesture we will never forget. The homestay itself is a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable. Decent simple home-cooked breakfast with the family was priceless. In summary: · Hospitality: Unmatched. La habitación es limpia y limpia, las instalaciones están completas y la vivienda es muy cómoda. El hotel es una excelente opción, ya sea en viajes de negocios o en vacaciones. A strategically located hotel which is within walking distance of distance to many interesting places. Food is easily accessible and yummy. Night scenery is great with multi coloured lighting. Nice to walk around and enjoyed watching people dancing in the open spaces. Local herbs are also available if u are interested in local Chinese herbs for brewing tea and herbal soups. During the day it is nice to walk around early in the nearby walking streets where u can find interesting architecture of the olden days. Well kept but can do with more explanation about the history and info about the local culture and customs. Great place for taking instagram photos.

El lugar es muy tranquilo, muy cerca del paraje paisajístico, justo enfrente. La familia del propietario es muy acogedora, te sientes como si estuvieras visitando a tus parientes, después de todo son gente Hakka. La comida en el restaurante es deliciosa, especialmente el tofu y el pollo local, comimos muchísimo. El Tulou también tiene una vista nocturna, siento que el Tulou es más encantador de noche que de día. Definitivamente es correcto venir a Tulou y quedarse aquí, es muy rentable. recomendar
