Pasar una noche en el Changdi Inn, enclavado en el corazón del histórico Hongkeng Tulou Cluster, fue una de las experiencias más inolvidables de mi viaje a Xiamen. El hotel se encuentra en un edificio de tierra hakka con siglos de antigüedad, y en cuanto entras, te transportas al pasado. La estancia ofrece una inmersión en la cultura y la arquitectura tradicional hakka, rodeada de gruesos muros de tierra, vigas de madera y detalles antiguos que evocan el pasado. Lo que lo hizo aún más especial fue conocer al amable posadero, descendiente de la sexta generación de la familia que construyó y conservó este tulou. Compartió historias y perspectivas locales, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más significativa. La habitación era sencilla pero limpia y cómoda, combinando el encanto rústico con las comodidades modernas básicas. Pude disfrutar de auténticas comidas hakka, preparadas con cariño y llenas de sabor casero, perfectas después de un día de exploración. Despertarse en el tranquilo entorno del pueblo, observar a los lugareños en su vida diaria y escuchar el canto de los pájaros en el exterior es una escapada única y conmovedora de la ciudad.

Room - my room faces the magnificent Guan Zhai Shan. Every morning wakes up to a scenic view of lush greenery and mountain Location - near to the Guan Zhai Shan entrance. We took a DiDi taxi there which costs about Rmb12. The hotel is also near to the city which is less than 10 mins by DiDi taxi Service - attentive and respectful services at the front desk Hotel amenities - new and luxurious with a nice swimming pool and spacious lobby Atmosphere- very relaxing, spacious and enjoyable feeling Breakfast- last a good variety. Quality of food is generally ok Restaurant - serves delicious Hakka food Overall we had a very enjoyable experience

The hotel is at a good location but not the hotel cos almost all the didi don’t come in to this alley and not aware of this hotel Hotel is very pretty and room is very nice There’s a free pickup from the train station which is very nice and plus point for the hotel However the staff needs more training in terms of their services and professionalism. Their standard is obviously not at the hotel’s level. When I reach on the first day, the young lady and gentleman that assist us with the check in is nice and friendly. However after that it’s always an older plump lady that is at the front desk during the day and her attitude doesn’t makes me comfortable. I was writing something to pass to her and she keep rush me to be faster and the way she talks makes me feels as if I’m at a market instead of hotel. And also the aunty that manned the laundry area. When I was washing my clothes around 3-4pm, she said I occupied both laundry pod and other ppl can’t wash it. I told her nicely that I will come and take out the cloth on time. I mean there’s so many ppl that leave their clothes in the laundry and dryer pod after clean and dried for hours or overnight. Doesn’t that occupied the pod as well and others cant use it? Then she still continues to nag and said me about using both pod. Once again I told her nicely the same statement. Then she continues again and keep repeating the same thing to me over and over again and I snap back at her only she stop. What’s wrong with her? There’s a saying 给你脸 你还蹬鼻子上脸了？以为我很好欺负吗？Please give more training to both of the staff so they don’t ruined the reputation of your hotel. And there’s a staff that told me to pay for the lost card. I misplaced a card before with other hotel and never been told to pay for it. They just simply void the card. It’s only 10-20 rmb which is not a lot tho but it really ruins my impression for this hotel. I mean this hotel is very pretty and I would love to stay there again if I’m visiting Lonyan again but with this kind of staff around, I will think twice before deciding my stay next time. I stayed Wanda and Fliport Hotel in Lonyan before and the price for these 3 hotels doesn’t difference much but their staff definitely handle customer with more professionalism and better attitude

More than a Stay - A Warm Family Welcome in the Heart of the Tulou! From the moment we arrived, we were treated not as tourists, but as guests of the family. The hosts – the Father, Mother, and their Son – are the soul of this place. They are incredibly friendly and go so far above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and special. The Son was our main point of contact and coordinated everything for us with great patience. He arranged our visit to the magnificent 振成楼 (Zhencheng Lou, the ”Prince of Tulou”), with Mother sharing fascinating stories about its history that you won't find in guidebooks. But where this family truly shines is in their genuine care. As overseas visitors, we were completely unfamiliar with local transportation and booking systems for our next destination. The Son sat down with us, helped us navigate the Chinese online systems, booked our train tickets, and gave us detailed instructions for the rest of our journey. He spent a significant amount of his own time to ensure we were set up for success, which was a gesture we will never forget. The homestay itself is a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable. Decent simple home-cooked breakfast with the family was priceless. In summary: · Hospitality: Unmatched. The family's kindness is the #1 reason to stay here. · Authenticity: A true Tulou living experience. · Convenience: Perfect location for exploring the nearby Tulou clusters. · Value: Worth every penny for the personal service and care. A strategically located hotel which is within walking distance of distance to many interesting places. Food is easily accessible and yummy. Night scenery is great with multi coloured lighting. Nice to walk around and enjoyed watching people dancing in the open spaces. Local herbs are also available if u are interested in local Chinese herbs for brewing tea and herbal soups. During the day it is nice to walk around early in the nearby walking streets where u can find interesting architecture of the olden days. Well kept but can do with more explanation about the history and info about the local culture and customs. Great place for taking instagram photos.

We stayed here for the experience and we loved it. As you should expect, the conditions are not luxury. The room does not have a private bathroom, but if you can live with that for one night, it's a great way to experience a tulou.

La comida en el restaurante es deliciosa, especialmente el tofu y el pollo local, comimos muchísimo. El Tulou también tiene una vista nocturna, siento que el Tulou es más encantador de noche que de día. Definitivamente es correcto venir a Tulou y quedarse aquí, es muy rentable. recomendar
