Usually don’t leave reviews, but this hotel truly deserves one. The ambience was above average, very peaceful and relaxing. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and a heater was provided, which is important especially during winter. In terms of location, the hotel is very close to Bipenggou (less than 1 km). However, walking there after a full day of activities is not recommended if you have luggage, as it can be quite tiring. What really stood out was the kindness and hospitality of the owner. We requested a pick-up from Bipenggou, and the owner personally came to fetch us free of charge, and even sent us back again later. The owner was using his personal car, which is suitable for 2 people with 1 luggage, but may not be ideal for bigger groups or families with many bags. The owner was also very thoughtful and even asked whether we wanted breakfast the next day. Although we were unsure if the food was halal and therefore did not eat it as we brought our own food, the gesture itself was truly appreciated. The room was exactly the same as shown in the pictures, with a clear and beautiful mountain view from the window. Since it was winter season in Bipenggou, the room was quite cold as well, but a heater was provided to improve comfort. Overall, the room felt nice, cozy, and pleasant to stay in. Overall, 10/10 satisfaction for the room, service, and facilities. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay near Bipenggou.

While it was mostly pros, there were one or two cons. Pros: 1. Good service from the staff. Prompt service rendered with good service etiquette. 2. Location was good as we were just 5mins from Bipengou Scenic Area entrance. There were lots of food options within walking distance. 3. Nicely appointed hotel rooms, spacious and well designed. 4. Fantastic laundry machines. The wash and the dryer were incredible. Cons: 1. Smoking is a big problem here. Guests are allowed to smoke in the lobby, common areas indoors and in some rooms. Although we got a non-smoking room, the pillows and bedsheets in my room were full of smoke smells. It was quite unpleasant. 2. Cleanliness could be improved further. Overall, I think this is one of the best looking hotels in the area. T

We had a very enjoyable stay overall. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always eager to help, which really made a difference to our experience. While the English language barrier was sometimes challenging, using translation apps like WeChat and Google Translate helped us communicate and work things out smoothly. The outdoor facilities have great potential, and it would have been even better if the fireplace areas were lit and there were more drink options available in the evenings. Similarly, a slightly wider selection of food at the restaurant and during breakfast would really help cater to Western travellers. That said, the hotel offered a comfortable and pleasant stay, with excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. Overall, a great experience and one we would happily recommend.

Room is very big and clean. And the price is reasonable.. Staff lady is very helpful to help us pick up the luggage to Bipengou to back Chengdu....But finally, we lost the bus and she find the personal car pool for us to get back Chengdu.

Nuestra estancia en el Xiwaxiang B&B en Bipenggou fue realmente maravillosa. La cerradura inteligente de la puerta también era extra segura, eliminando la necesidad de preocuparse por llevar llaves. La limpieza de la habitación merece un elogio especial. No solo los suelos y los muebles estaban impecables, sino que incluso los detalles más pequeños se mantuvieron meticulosamente, creando una experiencia muy atenta. El personal también fue muy amable y atento, brindando un servicio excelente desde el registro de entrada hasta el de salida. Fueron increíblemente pacientes, nos recomendaron atracciones cercanas y nos brindaron información sobre el transporte, lo que hizo que el viaje fuera una cálida bienvenida. Todo el B&B tiene un ambiente tranquilo. Las montañas nevadas se alzan desde la ventana, la sopa de carne burbujeando en la mesa, las gruesas esteras marrones, los suaves tatamis y un cálido baño termal crean una atmósfera serena y relajante. La vida siempre requiere un viaje espontáneo, y este viaje permitió a nuestra familia experimentar la dulzura de la nieve floreciente en Xiwa Lane. El B&B Bipenggou Xiwa Lane es muy recomendable.

We arrived early around 11.30am and the staff kindly allowed us to check in. Since the room wasn’t ready yet, we left our luggage and walked to Bipenggou Park, which is only about 10 minutes away. The room has floor heating, making it very cozy and warm despite the cold weather. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone planning to overnight in Bipenggou.

The hotel upgraded us when my husband disclosed his Wyndham status, which was decent of them. However, it was very strange that an international brand chain hotel would turn off all the lights on the second floor public areas to save electricity. I know it’s energy saving, but does no favors for the brand.

At first, I booked a camper van, but the staff advised me against it, saying it was too cold during this season. So I changed to a room inside the main hotel building — and I’m really glad I did. The hotel is located right inside the national park, and guests can drive in after registering at the park entrance. This makes sightseeing much easier since you don’t have to take the park’s shuttle bus, which drives rather poorly along the route. From the hotel, you can take their own vehicles directly to the scenic spots, saving more than half the travel distance. All room rates already include the park entrance fee. Personally, if I come back again, I would definitely stay here because it saves the hassle of taking the park shuttle. Overall, both the location and the rooms are excellent.
