BBrisbaneTomThis hotel has some very good features that I was very happy with and some less important issues that are not deal breakers.
First, the very good: USB charge ports (USB-A, USB-C) on both sides of the bed; absolute black-out curtains keep the room totally dark; both firm and soft pillows supplied; controllable air-conditioning/heating; a window that can be opened; stable temperature hot water; friendly staff; fantastic location (quiet, clean neighborhood, lots of restaurants, close to metro); large shower area with choice of shower head; firm (but not rock-hard) mattress; four bottles of drinking water supplied each day; and, most importantly, all rooms are non-smoking. This last point is more common in the major cities but not expected in Dongguan. (Beware of other hotels with ”some non-smoking rooms” - this means that both smoking AND not smoking in these rooms is permitted.) I did not sample the breakfast menu. The not-so-good in the room is the limited control of internal room lighting. The minimal setting is bright enough for most use and there is no way to set the internal lighting very low. There is no pen/paper supplied, and no phone in the room. You are expected to use WeChat to communicate with front-desk. The good thing about this is WeChat's builtin translation facility. The staff don't speak English (and neither do I expect them to as this isn't really a hotel for foreign travelers). There is a self-service laundry with four washing machine and drier sets on level 3A. These are free to use and (apparently) have self-dosing detergent. I never had to wait to use this facility. Level 3A (the forth floor, in reality) is shared by the hotel with a billiards club so the hotel lifts are often occupied with non-hotel customers who do smoke, so this level can smell stale at times. (I stayed on another floor and experienced no issues with air quality. In summary, I would certainly stay here again the next time I visit Dongguan.

CCathrin.GI had an amazing stay at Ji hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Songsan area. The environment is exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made the entire stay feel comfortable and relaxing. The hotel features a modern and stylish design, with beautiful interiors that give a very luxurious and contemporary atmosphere.
The room was very spacious and thoughtfully designed, providing plenty of comfort and space to relax after a long day. Everything felt new and well organized, which added to the overall premium experience.
One of the best things about this hotel is its excellent location. It is very convenient to travel anywhere in the city, with many attractions easily accessible nearby. There is also a large shopping mall directly beside the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and entertainment without needing to travel far. The traffic at this area quite heavy and a lots of cars sound their horn that could be disturbing, however I didn’t experience the noise pollution after late night hence it is acceptable to me.
Their breakfast start from 7am-10am and plenty of choices even though only Chinese style is served. Hopefully their coffee machine is working in the future, as an overseas traveller, coffee is part of our basic need.
One thing I wish to special highlight is about the free laundry, you can view the available machine slots from your room (open the TV and you can see the info). Super convenient! You don’t have to walk all the way to the laundry area to check by yourself.
I would definitely give this hotel a full 5-star rating and look forward to staying here again in the future.

PPinnk PinnkMy recent stay at the Ramada Dongguan Songshan Lake exceeded all expectations. The hotel is immaculately clean, from the lobby to the rooms, creating a fresh and comfortable atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to an Executive Twin Room, which was spacious, well-appointed, and featured modern amenities.
The breakfast and dinner buffet were both excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit different tastes. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile.
One of the highlights was the hotel's robot delivery service, which efficiently brought items directly to our room—adding a fun and convenient touch to our stay.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend the Ramada Dongguan Songshan Lake to anyone visiting the area.

IITG2I have stayed at this hotel quite a bit and have enjoyed almost every day staying here.
The breakfast is open from 7:30 - 10AM so there is plenty of time to enjoy a relaxed meal. I personally really enjoy the breakfast, there is usually good variety with hot dishes, fresh fruits, and a coffee machine. The beds are very spacious and comfortable. The staff are attentive and very courteous.
There are several food vendors nearby, a mall a short distance away and some other athletics facilities.
Overall excellent stay at this hotel!

OOliviaSu¡Este hotel ofrece un servicio excepcional! La habitación y las instalaciones estaban limpias y bien mantenidas, fue una estadía muy agradable. El chico llamado 小黄 (Xiao Huang) en la recepción me ayudó mucho con el proceso de check-in, me dio una mejora de habitación gratis y un cupón para el desayuno. El proceso de check-out también fue sencillo, otro miembro del personal 小谢 (Xiao Xie) también hizo un gran trabajo brindándome más información sobre mejores ofertas para mi futura estadía. Un hotel muy recomendable. 👌🏻

Localizado bien para el metro, etc, aunque muy lejos de una gran línea de trenes de alta velocidad que se utilizaría para trenes a otras ciudades como Shenzhen, Kowloon, Guangzhou etc. Sugeriría reservar un coche con antelación para ayudar con ese viaje si no eres un hablador local/Chino. En el centro de la ciudad, el hotel está situado en el centro de la ciudad. En línea, se veía un poco comercializado en familias, pero no noté mucho en la forma en que los niños se quedaban, y sin duda no encontré el hotel ruido, etc.

UUsuario anónimoGot an upgrade to the newly renovated rooms on this visit. The room is updated with contemporary design with a cyber color scheme. The lightning has improved a lot and with the new temperature control, it is no doubt a much more comfy room than before.
However, I have noticed a few shortcomings in my stay. First of all, there is no towel rack for used bath towels, and contradictorily they promote the environment friendly of reusing the towels (sign posted as shown as attached).
Secondly, changing cables are provided on both sides of the bed. But only the set on the left is working properly.
Thirdly, bath robes are on request now, maybe it is the result of the new open closet.
Lastly, those dispenser bottles are not working properly. The pump doesn't retract smoothly after being pressed. You simply need to pull the trigger back to get the next pump.
After all, it was a pleasant stay with late check out, free bottles of water and self service laundry as usual.
