Our one-night stay at Kon Tiki was absolutely splendid! The customer service was fantastic. We arrived late in the evening and Neil’s was very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. We stayed in the Polynesian cabins, which are indeed small and have a shared bathroom, but it is clean and sufficient for a stay. The best part is the close proximity to the ferry. When we returned from Moorea, we couldn’t find a taxi and we were confident that the staff would help, even though we were no longer staying there. Neils helped us and called us a taxi which was a huge stress relief! 10/10!!

Wanted to see about staying a few extra hours in hotel and willing to pay for the 4 extra hours I had a medical issue that I need to test a few hours before getting on plane. Willing to pay the $60 to stay a few more hours and was told $60 was only for two hours that to stay the extra 4?hours would be a full night charges. The hotel with out a heart

La habitación es enorme pero el espacio no se utiliza de forma eficiente. El baño no estaba bien seguro. Y la ducha estaba en el baño. El bidet de baño debe desactivarse si no se va a escapar. La ubicación estaba justo delante del terminal de ferry.

Hemos estado esperando a través de los años Covid para ir al Le Bora Bora Pearl Resort en Bora Bora y desde que se necesitaba un descanso en Tahiti, decidimos quedarse en el resort Tahiti de la empresa por 2 noches porque había un buen combo con el Bora Hotel Bora. La llegada tarde de la noche, un día completo y otra noche terminaron costandonos alrededor de $US1000, incluyendo almuerzo y cena, pero no desayuno. ¿Creo que vale la pena? Probablemente no. (TVA, el desayuno buffet, mientras que expansivo, cuesta alrededor de $US35 por persona). La habitación era espaciosa con un buen baño. La cama estaba cómoda aunque las galletas eran un poco plano. El balcón se vio a la playa negra de arena y al mar. Es un hermoso resort. Moorea puede verse desde la playa y puede nadar o caminar. La piscina era agradable pero justo al lado del restaurante que parece ser común. Hay sillas de cano en la hierba y los salones de piscina para sentarse y relajarse. El personal es útil y amigable.El número 1 es la TV. CNN es la única estación de habla inglés y ya no vale la pena ver. El problema con todas las estaciones de habla francés es que los únicos subtítulos disponibles son también francés. Así que no hay valor para cualquier televisión de noche más tarde. El problema número 2 es las opciones de comida. Estaban bien sin ser emocionantes. Y si usted ocurre necesitar gluten-free, entonces sus comidas serán bife y salada. Probablemente esperaba más de un resort de alta clase. El problema 3 era el plug-in del tubo de baño. Fue roto y inusable. Fue uno de los modelos de empuja y se había desaparecido. Ahora obviamente podríamos haber llamado a eso y se habría reparado con un poco de esfuerzo. Sin embargo, para un resort de supermercado, no debería haber sido roto en el primer lugar. Debía haber sido notado antes de nuestra estadía. El problema 4 es “matar el horario”. Ellos tienen un horario de paseo y gallinas. Todo muy libre y natural. El Manava es perfecto para pasar unos agradables días en Moorea. Nosotros estuvimos en la habitación más sencilla, el duplex con vistas al jardín y no tenemos ninguna pega. La habitación amplia, con una cama muy cómoda, decorada a la perfección. Las instalaciones tampoco se quedan atrás, la piscina es de tipo 'infinity' que no suele estar nada saturada. El desayuno, muy bueno y variado. El personal, en general, fue muy amable aunque es verdad que había alguno que otro más borde. El bar de la piscina, muy muy bueno, el restaurante, en cambio, nos resultó un poco caro.

Loved loved loved this place - Interiors in white..spacious ...doors can be slid open to accommodate the lovely weather and scenery that this hotel has the privilege to have at this location - excellent pool , great drinks and food at the bar! The tropical cololred fish that come up right by the walkway at low tide and every morning and night ..a private beach, wonderful music, great service! The kindness and generosity of the staff was icing on the cake...Yes I'm in san francisco..but I truly left my heart at Cooks Bay in Moorea! Thank you to Brian, Melea, Maria, Gladys, Silvanu!! You made this trip extra special! The hotel is located very close to Maharepa the little commercial center of Moorea - very convenient for picking up food stuff, or needs at the supermarket. Allo Pizza ,,delicious french polynesian twists on the pizza ..so close to the hotel! The jetty for picks ups for whalewatching, snorkelling and island tours land and sea is very conveniently located right near the hotel..you can just walk to the jetty and take your boat to the tour. The decor is beautiful - the price just right!... I would give this place 10 stars!

The property at the Hilton Moorea is beautiful, but starting to look a bit dated. As others on this site have recently reported, the staff is disorganized and apathetic. We had an emergency with a misplaced passport as we were departing for the airport to go back home to the States. We had already checked out of our room in the morning (no late check out granted) and were on the property as day guests awaiting our evening flight home from Papeete. We spent an hour in a hot luggage storage room right off the reception desk going through our bags over and over again to try to find the passport. The reception desk knew of the situation, did nothing to help, did not check in with us to see if there was anything they could do. At my inquiry, we were told that housekeeping had checked and didn't find it. After a fruitless hour long luggage search I asked at reception if I could go back to our original room and look for the passport and was told that there was another guest in the room. At my strong insistence, they called the room and fortunately the new guests answered the phone and agreed to check. The passport was in the safe - an obvious place. Housekeeping had not checked the room, they had merely not seen the passport in the safe when they cleaned after we departed (shouldn't housekeeping check the safe after guests check out?). The staff showed no urgency or concern during our emergency. We found the passport 10 minutes before we had to leave for the airport. If I had not insisted they call the new guests we would have missed our flight. It was very stressful. But that's not all! We took the last ferry of the day from Moorea to Papeete and planned to take a taxi from the ferry dock to the airport in order to make our 9:00 p.m. flight back to the States. We asked the Hilton concierge if she could arrange a car or taxi pickup reservation for us from the ferry to the airport. We were told it was unnecessary as there would be plenty of taxis there. Not true! We got our luggage from the cart and proceeded immediately to the taxi pick up zone and there were no taxis! Waiting with us was another couple from the Hilton who had also asked for car pick up to the airport and were told it was unnecessary. Since we had come on the last ferry of the day, the entire ferry terminal shut down shortly after our arrival and the four of us were standing outside the deserted building in the dark. None of us spoke French and were not sure if we would be able to summon a taxi by phone. We were afraid we would miss our flights. One security guard was still on site. He spoke no English, but understood our situation. Thankfully he came to our aid and was able to summon a taxi to take all four of us Hilton guests to the airport. It took 30 minutes for the taxi to come to pick us up and another 25 minutes to get to the airport. We made it, but all of us were stressed and upset with the Hilton for not arranging the car pickup for us as requested. Between those two totall

This was our first stop on what turned out to be a spectacular vacation in one of the most beautiful countries on earth. Te Moana is a super, more intimate resort. From the time we arrived, the staff were always smiling and ready to help in any way. It seems that genuine friendliness and helpfulness are part of the DNA of this country. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely appointed and our suite with a view of the sea was splendid. The restaurant is top-notch with delicious food. The star attraction of the hotel is the rimflow pool with an excellent pool bar with a broad range of well-made cocktails and outstanding sunsets over the neighbouring island of Moorea. We will definitely be back.
