Habitación amplia y cómoda, con lo necesario para una estancia corta. Trato agradable y buen desayuno. Cogimos una de las habitaciones ”económicas”, situada en el edificio de enfrente del hotel. Destacar que era muy tranquila y al estar en una entreplanta no había ruido ambiental.

El pasado mes de octubre nos alojamos por una semana en el Iberostar Creta Panorama Mare y vine muy descontento con un aspecto en concreto, los precios de las bebidas para aquellos que no contratamos el “todo incluido”. Creo que, a diferencia de otros destinos en el Caribe, donde se suele pasar mucho tiempo en resorts de este tipo, Creta es un lugar con mucho por visitar, ciudades con encanto, playas maravillosas, naturaleza en estado salvaje, y un largo etcétera. Dado que nuestra intención era visitar tantos lugares como nos fuera posible, pasando el día fuera del hotel, no íbamos a poder disfrutar de la comida a medio día ni de las bebidas en la piscina o los bares del hotel durante buena parte del día, nos decidimos por no contratar el “todo incluido”. Y aunque éramos conocedores de que esto implicaba tener que abonar las bebidas en el buffet y en los bares del complejo, los precios abusivos nos sorprendieron negativamente. Y es que tener que pagar 7,50€ en la cena por un vaso de cerveza local de tirador y un vaso de vino local de tirador (sin posibilidad de refill), 3,30€ por un café de la maquina del buffet tras la cena, 7,50€ por un combinado en vaso de cartón a base de licor de marca desconocida y refresco de tirador, o 10€ si pedias una marca reconocida, nos parece un abuso, y más tratándose de Grecia.

Warm greetings from Germany! This was my fourth visit to Grecotel Caramel Boutique Hotel, and as always we had a wonderful time there! The resort has a magical atmosphere and a very beautiful setting, full of different flowers and plants as well as a gorgeous beach. A perfect place to relax and enjoy! But what makes this hotel so special is the pleasent team✨ I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team for ensuring that my stay was delightful and comfortable! A special commendation to Mr. Alex from the a la carte restaurant. Together with his stellar team, they truly exceeded expectations. The culinary delights, from main courses to desserts and drinks, were not only of the highest quality but also tantalizingly delicious and beautifully presented. Every evening I enjoyed great food, live music, and a lovely service. My warmest appreciation goes out to the entire staff! Their kindness, efficiency, hospitality and genuine warmth contributed immensely to the overall experience! TLDR; very cozy and chill beach & pool getaway if you just wanna take it easy in a home like environment. my initial (and final) reaction was that the photos don’t do justice to the place. based on pictures i expected something less nice and more worn out. i agree not everything was brand new and sparkly but overall fine and what you’d expect from a local greek b&b. our apartment was very spacious (50m2?) and in good condition, with a balcony (view of the sea between buildings) and a small modern-ish bathroom. nice kitchen with a table. the hotel is a bit like labyrinth but not in a bad way, it allows every apartment to have its own entrance and balconies that are not next to each other. importantly our apartment was very quiet, we had a good sleep until 11-12am. the aircon is only enough for the bedroom so the rest of the apartment is warm but that was ok for us. the aircon is also quiet. very nice owners, they make you feel like home. even brought a drying rack to our balcony which was useful. the pool temperature in july was around 27-29c, in other words very nice and comfy. u can move the poolside chairs around to get shade under the trees, i enjoyed the peace & quiet, perfect for reading and chilling. wasnt busy in mid july. there is s bit more yard space than shown in the photos. you can get drinks from the bar which is by the reception and enjoy them by the pool. cocktails were 4euros and wine 2 euros per glass. we were supposed to go on excursions but ended up chilling by the pool as it was so easy and relaxing. the beach on the other side of the road is practical too. there are good restaurants and shops nearby, even the highest rated restaurant of a rethymno is 3-4min walk away (Nostos). next door Solti has great brunch/lunch options. the other guests during our stay were Dutch 30-50 yr old couples or families (no small kids). if i must look at negatives as i always do, sure its not dashing new and the pool is small. based on my research tho there are no bigger pools in the area, only more expensive ones and/or ones with very little shade. the old town is a 25min walk so not something to do every day perhaps. still, this is one of my few 5 star places (price-quality ratio considered).

Todo era más que perfecto. Tuvimos un pequeño sobrecalendar de habitación, un gesto agradable. El hotel está bien situado, las habitaciones (apartamento) son grandes, muy limpias y muy bien equipadas. En el cuarto piso no hay preocupación por la carretera en contrabajo. Idem con la piscina que es superior. Bar disponible el día. Será una noche de barbacoa cada miércoles por la noche es muy cool. Todo el personal es muy amable y competente. El SPA es perfecto, Mariana es hiperatenta y super pro. Super estadía en Hungría 👍👍
