Unique food, impeccable service! I attended a large dinner in the ballroom. The chandeliers and lighting in the room created a beautiful atmosphere. The servers were kind and attentive. Main course was a unique aubergine dish - something out of the ordinary - and it was wonderfully prepared. I’ve eaten at The Alice for dinner as well as tea, and now I know that banquets are as delicious as the restaurant.

¡El aspecto de este hotel parece muy discreto! Incluso muy discreto, llegué de noche. A friend and I had planned to go to Oxford to celebrate Mayday in 2020 but the pandemic meant this didn’t happen. In November 2022 my friend tried to book into the same place but it was full. There weren’t many rooms available and he booked us into the Ali Inn based on the photos. Neither of us read a review until the day before when I did. The majority of the reviews were poor but as we had no choice we arrived not expecting what to find and somewhat concerned. However There was someone to meet us Our room was clean and tidy. There were sufficient towels, toiletries and tea and coffee. Because of Mayday prices had increased everywhere and the Ali Inn was no different but at £260 for 2 nights wasn’t bad. It is a budget hotel. It is centrally located which is good. There is noise as there is a pub opposite and the theatre beneath it. It is a number of rooms up stairs and adjacent to a sandwich business run by the same people. The owner? Manager? Was very amenable helpful and friendly. The room was a good size as was the toilet and shower room. Definitely good for budget travellers who don’t mind noise. Ideal location very central and close to the bus station. Clean. Big towels too! Bed slightly soft and that’s the only slight criticism I have.

Very very basic. Very little care taken in general. Room was ok but small and stuffy. Decor run down . Corridors cramped and shabby. Desk was unmanned, had to buzz to get staff over road from their “ sister “ hotel. They seemed disinterested. Little local knowledge. Walls paper thin. When i left in the morning , I walked out into a building site - the whole section , including the front door , had been sectioned off workmen - who shouted at me for not wearing a hard-hat 😂 would have been nice to get a heads up from the hotel this was happening. You get what you pay for , and this was cheap , but I won’t be staying again. Recommend avoiding

Nos quedamos solo una noche para reunirnos con miembros de la familia para cenar en Oxford. Está muy bien ubicado para el centro de la ciudad. A pesar de eso, está en una ubicación tranquila y tuvimos una buena noche de descanso en una habitación pequeña pero cómoda. Carece de la variedad de instalaciones que usted puede desear para una estadía prolongada. Por ejemplo, no tiene salón, restaurante ni ascensores, que es la única razón por la que no podría dar 5/5 para las instalaciones. Las instalaciones son buenas: té y café en la habitación, televisión, radio y WiFi. El personal es amable y servicial. Vinimos en coche y usamos el sistema Park and Ride, que es excelente. Los servicios de autobús de Oxford son buenos. El hotel también está a un corto trayecto en taxi desde la estación si vas en tren. El hotel era ideal para una estancia corta y lo usaremos de nuevo.

My first experience highlighted the incompetent service. I booked an executive room and was told 6 months later that they had listed it at the wrong price. After confirming the new price, it was clearly confirmed on ***********. The hotel clearly ignore these confirmations because they downgraded me to a classic, but left *********** to charge me the higher price. Hotel not interested, everyone else’s fault. No apology, no compensation. *********** had to contact the hotel and correct the price again. Access code arrived less than 3 hours prior to check-in, which was the first I knew of my downgrade. Classic rooms are OK but very noisy if you’re at the back. Sink plug broken, poor ventilation, good Wi-Fi, clean and comfortable bed. Stayed 2 nights but after first night, no housekeeping, no clean cups, no new toiletries and bottles of water. They have clearly, following the decision to sell, given up. If you haven’t booked already, or have a flexible booking, you might wish to do the same.

El hotel está situado en el centro de Oxford. El hotel está situado en una zona de la ciudad, en la que se encuentran los alrededores de la ciudad, y en la que se encuentran los alrededores de la ciudad. La lista en TripAdvisor es un poco engañosa, ya que no hay desayuno incluido (se nos informó al reservar) Sería muy recomendable. (A menos que su un poco alto y grueso!!)

Thanks the friendly, positive and helpful staffs, I had a wonderful stay in Oxford. Hotel location is also great as it very near the rail train station. The room space is big enough and have a small sitting area.

I enjoyed the nice little cozy place. I liked its style and decor. The service was great. They provide free coffe which you can make yourself and provide kitchen appliances that you can use located in the the kitchen for guest with a fridge. Only downfall was their carpet. It needs replacing in the room I was in. It smell like mold and musky. Hope they changed it soon. Beside everything about this place is great, it's also close to the train station.
