I booked this hotel mainly for convenience to get to Auschwitz for a 9.30am tour, but I also wanted to treat myself to the superior double room & the spa the evening before. Firstly, there were 2 single beds rather than a double (see photo) and they said sometimes in Poland a ”double” refers to 2 singles. It's misleading and I find it odd they're not more clear, especially as they must've had similar complaints about this before, so beware! Secondly, I went down to the spa to spend time in the sauna and jacuzzi but the area was drafty because the door to a strange patio area was open. I think this is where the outdoor pool normally is but there was nothing there but a couple of chairs and an umbrella, so this was another let down. Thirdly, and the worst thing of all, was the breakfast. Awful all round, I've only ever had as bad a breakfast once before and that was in a Travelodge. The coffee was bland, the choice of food was limited, a lot of the spread was cheaply presented and nothing like the photos, so beware. Worst of all was the fruit which was rancid, literally. See my photo, it's quite unbelievable. Also, rather disappointingly, I was looking forward to having a pint in the cellar bar but I discovered it was only open certain evenings, I was gutted, nothing seemed to be going right here. The only reason I gave this 2 star rather than 1 was because of the dinner. I had purchased it as part of a package with the room and had it in a restaurant attached to the hotel. After reading the menu for a while the waitress told me I needed another menu for the package deal so of course I was suspicious. I've taken a photo of this menu as you should be aware the choice is limited. I ordered the zur, dumplings & tiramisu. For all I know it was all defrosted but to be fair it tasted really good, so this was a saving grace. Anyway, please beware of my points, its not a great hotel but it is just a 5-10 minute taxi ride to Auschwitz (1) so it is convenient, though there will be closer smaller hotels or B&B's that are a closer walking distance I'm sure. I have been totally transparent with this review and often I wish hotels could do the same, please don't be surprised if your stay is not as good as you expected.

It’s one of my favorite Hotel due to the nice rooms, view and impeccable service. I was recognized as a returning guest and a HHoners Diamond member, and received an upgrade to a big corner room. Highly recommend

I AND MY SOY stayed there from 5 Feb to 8 Feb for 3 nights. It is a beautiful hotel, compact and homely. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is big and good. La cocina está muy bien equipada con microondas, tostadora, nevera, placa de cocina, calefactor, cafetera, etc y todos los tipos de herramientas. Puede cocinar y sentarse en la mesa y comer cómodamente. Es un lugar que recomiendo 100%. El hotel está situado en el centro de Auschwitz, donde se encuentra el centro de Auschwitz. Si te quedas ahí con la intención de visitar el campamento, entonces como ypu paso del puerto de la 6ª habitación, ypu encontrará un enorme parque bang opp ... Just a walk through and at the end of connecting road turn left and in a few minutes you will be at the Auschwitz En el primer día, cometieron un error y volvimos a la izquierda desde la entrada de la 7ª habitación, pero luego llegamos al fondo del campamento Auschwitz, que es sólo una entrada de personal, y tuvimos que caminar otro 1 km para llegar a la entrada. Gracias a la 7ª habitación ....Has hecho un destino más memorable y maravilloso, y 2 o 3 años después voy a visitar de nuevo y ESTÁ DETERMINADO quedarme aquí! Aseem Varma

Las camas estaban cómodas , las copas estaban agradables me hacen tener un sueño profundo maravilloso. El desayuno sorprendente con muchas opciones se encuentra con la mayoría de las personas y niños sabor. El personal es muy agradable y útil. Caminar a la estación de tren y el garaje.

El hotel está situado en un lugar muy agradable y cómodo y es muy acogedor. Todo está limpio para que podamos permanecer seguros durante la difícil situación de Covid. Hay muchos restaurantes agradables alrededor de este hotel. Si vuelvo a visitar esta ciudad, seguramente volveré a elegir aquí.

En el momento de hacer la reserva, esta era una de las opciones más baratas en Katowice y, con mucho, la mejor relación calidad-precio. Nos alojamos allí por una noche. El hotel ha sido renovado recientemente y se ve mucho mejor por dentro que en las fotos, que a mayo de 2019 no están actualizadas. Está convenientemente ubicado junto a la autopista A4, con mucho espacio de estacionamiento gratuito y supermercados cercanos. La habitación era moderna, estaba impecablemente limpia y todos los electrodomésticos eran nuevos, con una cama cómoda y una ducha de lluvia superior. Para estadías más largas, podría usar un escritorio. El desayuno era bueno, con suficiente variedad, comida de alta calidad y pan delicioso. No hay demasiadas opciones vegetativas que yo recuerde. El único defecto fue el servicio. Solo había una recepcionista el viernes por la noche que fue muy servicial pero que no hablaba inglés. Si llega justo después de un recorrido en autobús, su registro puede demorar un poco.

La habitación era muy limpia y cómoda. Hay muchos parques de estacionamiento gratuitos y puedes estacionar fácilmente tu coche. La ubicación estaba bien cerca del centro de la ciudad. Hay agua y café en la habitación. El desayuno era excelente. Wi-Fi gratuito y señal era buena. Hay un minibar en la habitación pero está vacío puede poner sus bebidas o comidas. También hay una tienda de flores en la entrada y puedes cambiar dinero allí.

I stayed at this hotel in December and have been hesitant to submit a poor review because, like so many other people in Poland, I am sure that the good people who work there are helping with the current crisis. But I’ve decided to share anyway. I would not recommend this hotel to international business or tourist visitors. Overall, it just misses the mark for both international travelers and tourists. Its location is walking distance to the historic center but not in it. Its room rates are reasonable but the banquet rates expensive. I was responsible for a group of over 15 guests who were attending an international conference. While the staff were pleasant, we had several instances of inflexibility. We would have spent more on catering had management agreed to work with our contractor on how to apportion room and catering rates. For my own stay, the staff could not produce an invoice showing the rates paid per night. In addition, when I went to check out, I discovered that the front desk had made an error in changing my checkout date, which I had requested. The hotel had already charged me credit card – without permission -- and demanded immediate payment for my final night. The front desk clerk refused to identify a manager for me to speak with. The hotel also charged the credit card of one of my colleagues without authorization.

El desayuno era bueno y el hotel estaba en el centro de la ciudad. Las chicas de la recepción eran hermosas y muy acogedoras. Le preguntamos dónde podía comer comida local. Ella nos recomendó uno y dijo que podría ser un poco caro. Jaja, un niño de buena fe.
