The worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. I arrived at night on 2/9 & was given room 302. As I was putting my things away I slipped and almost fell. I noticed there was water on the floor between the closet area & fridge. When I looked at the closet area that is when I noticed a huge puddle of water. I saw the water marks on the wall & when I realized there was a huge hole in the ceiling, completely exposed. I called the front desk and Heather who checked me in told me they were fully booked for the weekend & that she wouldn't be able to assist me because there was no manager until 2/12. How could there be no manager all weekend, not even an on-call one? I had nowhere else to stay, so I had no other choice but to stay in the room. We used several towels throughout the weekend as the water kept leaking. There was never an offer for someone to come mop or cover the ceiling. These are health risks & I cannot fathom how such a room was given to a guest & IHG member. I had to call for 3 days before reaching a manager, Tony. I told him the day prior I spoke with Jose who said he'd give me a full refund. Tony said the best he could do was give me a discounted rate per night and 500 pts, which is nothing. He marked the case solved so not even ******* could help. This is not IHG's mission and I am extremely disappointed by this experience & how management handled it. I should not pay a single cent for such a room or service. I will never stay here again or recommend
