Premier Inn Bristol Filton Hotel

The hotel was not the best Premier Inn I have used. There was no restaurant facility and the interior corridors and stairwells felt dark and rundown. Bed, as ever, was very comfortable, and the bathroom very clean. Also, a lift would be useful.

Lovely friendly welcome, but that's where the good points end. Very run down, all areas need a refurb. Unpleasant smell around the building in all areas including my room. Room was awful, carpet worn, very hot and no air-con. Opened the window to avoid cooking!! Traffic noise was very bad. The room above was occupied and I'm sure that they were only moving around, but it sounded like a stampede of elephants above me. Really bad nights sleep with all these things taken into consideration. I chose Premier Inn as it is usually a good value overnight stay with a decent enough room, not the case at the Filton one. Wanted to talk to reception about how I felt in the morning, but it was unmanned with just a little box to put your key card in. Very disappointed with this particular hotel.

Room could've been cleaner. Situated in a retail park and a high street (pub, curry house, takeaways etc) a few seconds walk. Louis on reception deserves a mention as being a credit to the hotel - friendly and goes out of the way to sort things.

Friendly staff. Large room which looked to be newly renovated. Good location, with the pub next door, and not far from Bristol City Centre. The room was very warm, with not much air coming in through the window. The shower pressure was quite poor, and after we had had a shower, there was a funny smell coming from the drain.

No air conditioning working and room very basic and smelt like sulphur the three members of staff we seen whilst staying there were all very friendly .small fan available but made very little difference and due to the room being so hot we kept windows open very noisy

Be aware that there is no lift, no restaurant, no breakfast, and no air-conditioning - and whilst, the comfort of the bed lives up to :Premier Inn's reputation ,the location next to a busy road may limit your night's sleep

As expected value for money from this hotel chain - good location, car parking available on site - only downside restaurant was unavailable

The outside of the hotel and the common parts were not great but the customer service and the quality of the room were great. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 2 nights. All acceptable, except the floors are so paper thin, the upstairs room sounded like they were on pogo sticks walking around & it was gone 11pm. The second night was worse, they came in after 1pm & were so loud, we had to shout them to shut up & bang on the ceiling. For this reason alone, we would never use Premier Inn again.
