The Dive Motel and Swim Club

FUN! The Dive Motel was such a fun experience. The 70s theme is carried throughout. It’s an easy and accepting place that will just make you smile. If you have any connection to the era of peace of love The Dive Motel is a must visit. The location on Dickerson Pike is not the most desirable however, this seems to be the “East Nashville” of 20 years ago. New businesses, homes, etc popping up everywhere. My two star of the location will surely change in the future. But know that we felt extremely safe and didn’t worry about a thing. The whole place is surrounded by a big fence so it’s very private for its own guests. The staff were just amazing and friendly. The communication pre and post visit via text was appreciated. The whole place just has a vibe. Themed rooms, bar, just every detail makes you think you’ve gone back in time. Most clientele we encountered were probably in their late 20s/early 30s. We are a couple decades ahead of that but didn’t feel out of place at all. We lived this era and appreciate it! Everything was incredibly clean and well-maintained. I would recommend The Dive Motel over and over. Just a great experience.

The motel is not very well kept. Room was small, poor lighting, no TV or closet. Definitely not what I was expecting for the price, almost $300 per night.

Love the stay but the room we were in was so far and lugging all our stuff with a tons of stairs, no luggage cart and no help. Other than that it was great

We had soooo much fun! I’ll never stay anywhere else when in Nashville! You don’t even need to leave the motel because it has everything you could want right there! The Cuban food truck they had there was the best food we ate while in town! The pool and the bar were fun and the vibes were immaculate! The party switch and the music options in the room were great! 100000/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a good time!

We were in town for a concert at Nissan Stadium so selected the Dive Motel for its location and unique vibe. I'm sorry others who have left reviews had a less than stellar experience because we LOVED our stay. Our room -- which was a king room by the pool -- was clean and comfortable (although could use a small table or dresser to store suitcase/clothes). We LOVED the vintage vibe (yay disco ball!). Wi-Fi was great. Bar was a fun hang with good drinks. Food truck had tasty food. The staff was very nice & accommodating -- were always available to answer any questions. I even got some excellent recs for good vintage stores in the area! The location was convenient to downtown and anywhere East Nashville. It's not in the best area so don't recommend walking but that's not a big deal. If you're looking for a Marriott or Embassy Suites, this hotel is not for you. If you dig staying in a unique place with vintage character that's inclusive and fun -- then the Dive Motel is your spot!

We were very pleased with our stay! Very clean, amazing staff. A lot of thought was put into the design of the room. We will stay again!

This place is FANTASTIC, UNIQUE, and so much fun! I will definitely be back!

Fun fun fun fun. The absolute best staff. Way above the bar we set for this spot. Must go crazy in the warmer months. Unfortunately we forgot our ice skates to use the pool. Lucy, Emily, Pat & Becca - I wish I remembered everyone’s names. Food was fantastic. For a place with a younger vibe we felt totally at home. (We are in our 50’s) Will be back during the summer months!!

Incredibly cool retro vibe and the staff was amazing. Probably a bit more chill in February than the summer months, where it looks like it they are geared up for some fantastic parties. Definitely coming back next time we're in town!
