Hôtel Restaurant la Cigogne

We booked last minute this hotel by *********** because driving through the Route of Cretes without a precise schedule. Location is nice in the center of this small town, so it is also easy to find. But when we arrived at about 18 (not in the middle of the night!!), it was closed (!!!), with a paper on the door saying to call a certain number, which we did. Unfortunately the only spoken language was french and we understood with some difficulty that we should take personally our key, after that luckily we could get in because someone was getting out……fantastic. And later (when we had already the key) we even helped a german family to get in by opening the hotel door, because they were having exactly our same problem. Once we could finally take the key of our family room (actually two rooms),it was clean and large enough, although the ceiling at about 2.2 m makes the room as low as a basement. Parking is available. At checkout we learned that on Mondays the restaurant connected with the hotel is closed and therefore the hotel is unattended as well, which is a quite interesting argument (!!!). Overall, very bad impression.

We arrived on a Sunday just as the hotel was closing. We just had time for a drink outside and for the receptionist to book a restaurant for us because the hotel restaurant was closed for both nights of our stay which we had not been informed of. That was the last bit of service we had during our 2 night stay. Our room was tiny and not very clean. The toothmugs were filthy. The overhead light was broken. Parking was in a street behind the hotel in an area where it looked as if a house had been demolished. On the day of departure there was no-one in the breakfast room. There was a basket with bread and a room number. All DIY. No cold water available to take medication. Worse still, there was no-one in reception. We had to phone up and ask someone to come so that we could pay and wait 10 minutes for her to arrive. We met a couple who used to stay here and said it had been a lovely family run hotel but they would never go back. Neither would we. Dreadful.

Nous avons dîner au restaurant de l'hôtel de la Cigogne lors de notre séjour à Munster et nous avons été très bien servi, l'accueil était au top et la nourriture très bonne. Les prix corrects, il n'y a rien à dire de plus c'était parfait.

Tout le personnel a été aux petits soins, très accueillant et à l'écoute. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel familial qu'on ne peut que recommander ! La table y est aussi très bonne!

En Famille de 4 adultes Les gérants sont très sympathiques ,le personnel est soigneux ,très poli. Pour la chambre 1 grand lit + 2 lits séparés il n'y a rien à dire . C'est un appartement 2 chambres séparées + une salle d'eau séparée des chambres donc très bien quand on a des ados comme nous ( 17 ans et 19 ans). chambres et salle d'eau propre . Pour les 6 repas du soir [car la journée , il faut visiter cette ville et cette belle région ] La nourriture est bonne et copieuse, bien cuisiné par le chef. Pour le service , pour les impatients, l' hôtel restaurant présente un thème . Pour ma famille je remercie les gérants car me voilà moins inculte. Le petit déjeuner (buffet) offre une très belle vue de la place de Munster Je vous recommande vivement cette établissement . Signer une Famille comblée

Visite à deux à Munster. Hotel sympa et confortable même si un peu vieillot. Moins bien côté table où le le cordon bleu au veau était très moyen en goût...et légumes congelés plus que passables... Étape correcte davantage sur la chambre que sur la brasserie...

Hôtel bien insonorisé, très accueillant. Une bonne literie. Pour un plus que parfait, il manquerait peut-être un petit frigo dans la chambre et la climatisation. Mais ceci reste un petit détail. Nous sommes venus qu'il faisait très chaud. Nous retenons cette adresse qui vaut le détour.

Accueil et sourire de tout le personnel. Très bien placé face au marché de Noël. Parking près de l'hôtel. Chambre confortable accessible par ascenseur. Ajouté à tout cela un excellent dîner et un petit déjeuner parfait. Rapport qualité/prix très très correct. Nous y reviendrons en été et conseillons vivement cet hôtel et son restaurant. Merci à tous ceux qui nous ont accueillis

L'hotel est idéalement placé, en plein coeur de Munster. La vue depuis la salle de déjeuner est superbe, on peut admirer les cigognes nichées sur tous les toits. La chambre est spatieuse, la literie confortable. Le personnel est agréable et à l'écoute.
