Hoteles con vistas a la montaña en Xining

I booked a room with a window. I spent more than friends to have a better room. However their cheap room had a window but mine did not. Instead it had a glass wall that looked into the hallway. When I first arrived the room door was open. They solved that problem and my friends and I went out to eat. When we returned (3 hours after checking in) none of our room keys worked. I had to go downstairs to reception twice to get it working. Then at breakfast a man started smoking in the breakfast area and no one stopped him. I would pass on this hotel the next time I’m in Xining.

Así que le pregunté en voz baja: ”¿Es muy caro este sitio? ¿Por qué alojarse en un hotel tan caro?”. Ella respondió con naturalidad: ”No es tan caro. Es solo un hotel de cinco estrellas recién inaugurado. Aunque el estilo y el ambiente son de alta gama y lujosos, el precio es bastante razonable”. La seguí a la habitación con cierto escepticismo. Lo primero que me llamó la atención fue el baño. ¡Había una bañera enorme, algo que nunca hubiéramos imaginado! Antes tenía una en casa, pero por falta de recursos, no pude tenerla. Hoy, encontré una aquí, y me alegré muchísimo. Pensaba darme un buen baño aquí. La cama era muchísimo mejor que la de casa; era tan cómoda que no quería levantarme. Dormí profundamente esa mañana. Pero mi mejor amiga me despertó, insistiendo en llevarme a desayunar. Pensaba que íbamos a salir, así que me resistía un poco, ya que me parecía que quedaba lejos. Entonces, probablemente me hizo cambiar de opinión, diciendo que podíamos ir al restaurante del hotel, donde el desayuno era gratis. Al oír eso, me convenció de inmediato y la seguí rápidamente escaleras abajo. Era un desayuno muy abundante, con varias opciones. Cada una de nosotras disfrutó de un desayuno delicioso y muy satisfactorio. En general, fue un lugar estupendo, y me encantaría volver y experimentar de nuevo un servicio de cinco estrellas en algún momento.

Pros: The hotel’s location is excellent for business travelers, with a large supermarket just 1.1 km away (within walking distance). The bed is comfortable, ensuring a good sleep throughout my 4-night stay. The facilities are well-maintained and fully functional, even though the style is a bit old-fashioned. The front desk staff are very helpful — although their English is limited, they made great efforts to assist using a translation app. Thanks to their enthusiasm, I was able to book trips to Ta’er Temple and Qilian Temple. I was really impressed by their willingness to help. breakfast and coffee are delicious .I love it. Cons: Although it’s supposed to be a non-smoking floor, it’s hard to avoid the smell of cigarette smoke.

The rooms are very big and spacious! Really helps one feel relaxed. The only problem we experienced was that there was a smoke smell in our rooms which was a surprise given we had selected non smoking rooms. The hotel staff made things right though immediately after we complained by switching our rooms. The rest of our stay was great. The location is pretty good with a lot of halal eating options nearby.

I chose Park Plaza as it was convenient to both the train station and airport. The price was also excellent value for money. My train from Lhasa arrived at 6.30am and I caught a taxi the short distance to Park Plaza without issue. I checked in around 7am and was shown my room. It was beautiful, very spacious with a large window, and it also had a freestanding bath. Unfortunately I could smell cigarette smoke, which is not uncommon in Chinese hotels. I asked for a different room and was immediately shown one . This room was identical but the bed covers were a children's design and there were some toys and teepee in one corner . I simply folded the bright yellow covers down and had a lovely tasteful decor again. The bed was extremely comfy and the room was very quiet. The buffet was beyond excellent and the head chef and his small team were very friendly and attentive. Clearly they were very proud of their fabulous buffet and presentation....as they should be. It was my best in China.. I found a lovely walking trail behind the hotel beside the river, 5 mins away. The area in general was nice to wander around, very different from my stay in the centre of city when on my way to Tibet. I will most definitely choose Park Plaza when I return to Xining.

Este hotel de confort y el hotel de Qingqing son una familia, todas las instalaciones están en el mismo diseño. Las habitaciones están completas, el hotel tiene lavandería, es decir, se debe en fila. El desayuno es bueno, el hotel es rica. El hotel está cerca del Museo de Arte, la calle de negocios de la Alianza de Armas está cerca, y la noche es muy buena. También es conveniente tomar el autobús.

Great location, amazing reception and nice decor. Only thing I could pick on was I wasn’t very used to the varieties of breakfast served and there was a few groups of tours during my stay and it could be challenging to get a table and get around the lift if you have breakfast and go out at the same timing with them.

Very nice rooms and view, very clean and friendly staff, but the aircon was centrally set and quite hot, and the breakfast was basically egg, toast and a few condiments.

El hotel dispone de todo, cama limpia y cómoda, ducha de agua caliente y todas las comodidades en el baño. No uso Wi-Fi pero el router en la habitación está funcionando. Hay un humidificador de aire y caldera de agua. Situación es muy buena. A 30 minutos a pie de la plaza y la calle comercial. 10 minutos de taxi a la estación de tren y el autobús del aeropuerto. Disculpe mi desgracia por las fotos ;) He tenido un largo vuelo desde Estocolmo Suecia.
