Nunca pensé que encontraría un hotel tan fantástico al pie del monte Emei.
¡También es muy adecuado para unas vacaciones familiares!
Desde las instalaciones de hardware hasta los servicios, ¡todo es realmente genial! Es el tipo de hotel que recomienda la conciencia. El ambiente del hotel es muy cómodo. Todo el hotel está rodeado de bosques verdes. También hay recién casados celebrando una boda en el césped.
La habitación del hotel también es muy grande. Somos dos adultos y dos niños.

Me gustaría expresar mi agradecimiento especial a Krystal, quien tomó la iniciativa de contactarme cuando reservé el hotel y me preguntó si teníamos niños. Ella nos preparó suministros para niños. Fue cuidadosa y gentil y tomó la iniciativa de ayudarnos. nuestro equipaje, nos presentó las instalaciones del hotel y nos organizó una habitación en el séptimo piso con una vista realmente buena.

- the location is fantastic with lots of hiking nearby and easy to get to the buses for Mt. Emei
- the staff are very friendly
The bad:
- the hotel is definitely looking tired and dated: chipped woodwork in the rooms, flaking paint on the balcony.
- only one of the many bars is open. Everytime we wanted to order something we were shown a huge menu, only to then be told most things were not available - this included wines, beers and food.
- the hotel was incredibly quiet with the restaurant and bar being completely empty most of the time we were there. Whilst not the hotel’s fault, it dead mean a complete lack of atmosphere.
- various items were listed as included when booking with Trip.com - none of them were available or in fact included.
- when advise was needed from reception: the information given was often not accurate. The staff were wonderfully friendly, they just did not seem to have accurate information or to check it.
Overall: this was the most expensive hotel booked during my three week tour of China and the most disappointing. I would unfortunately not recommend, especially in low season.

¡Esto debería haber sido una recomendación de 5 estrellas! El día que nos registramos, la recepcionista del Edificio 5, una mujer bastante corpulenta con traje oscuro, tenía una expresión sombría. 🥲 Ignoró mis preguntas... ¡Este tipo de actitud es inaceptable para una gerente! ¡O tiene contactos o tienen contactos con el jefe!

LLanJiangWe initially chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station and its recent opening. The drive up the narrow mountain road, full of sharp turns, was a bit unsettling for our city Didi driver, so we were secretly relieved (as was our driver) when we finally arrived. At first glance, the hotel seemed quite simple, and I wasn’t entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, any lingering doubts were quickly washed away by the warm welcome from Derek, the hotel manager, and the staff.
When we got to our room, it was pure joy! The minimalist design is visually soothing, and the balcony with its expansive mountain views made us feel like just hanging around and doing nothing was more than enough.
If you're the kind of traveler who feels guilty about not doing anything, rest assured that the hotel is in a beautiful section of the mountain. There's a lovely old temple and a sacred spring pond nearby—Zhongfeng Temple and Shenshui Pavilion, I believe. You’ll also enjoy the energy of hikers rushing up and down the mountain. There are enough people to make it lively but not overwhelmingly crowded like Leidongping or Jinding, where the crowds can be exhausting.
A special mention goes to Derek, who exceeded all our expectations. His kindness and professionalism reminded me of the kind of service you expect from a six-star hotel, where every need is anticipated. Derek went above and beyond, making our journey to Golden Summit and onward to Leshan much smoother and more enjoyable. Since we speak minimal Chinese, he kindly helped us communicate with the next hotel, explaining how to get there. He even offered us a free ride to the bus station when we struggled to find a Didi in the area. Derek also helped arrange our transfer to Leshan. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his assistance.
If I had to suggest one area for improvement, I’d say the dinner options could use some enhancement to match the overall excellence of the stay.
A small tip: If your goal is to catch the sunrise and sunset at Golden Summit, you'll need to stay at one of the mountaintop hotels near Jinding. Logistically, getting to these hotels involves taking a bus from Baoguosi or Wuxiangang Station to Leidongping, then a cable car to the upper platform, followed by a roughly one-hour hike with steep steps to Jinding. It's manageable with a backpack, but not ideal with large luggage. That’s why we chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its close proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station, leaving our luggage there and heading up the mountain with just our backpacks.

KKellyLeechLovely hotel in the midst of lush greenery, mountains and river. Perfect location for some R & R. The breakfast spread was delicious and has quite a bit of variety - balanced selection of continental and local. We went during off peak, so the hotel was quite quiet. The location was good, near to eateries and convenience stores, all within walking distance. It is also walking distance to the Bus Station that goes up and around the mountain area. Very convenient and strategic location. It would have been a perfect getaway if the hot spring was indoors since it is too cold to dip in the pool in the middle of winter.
Anyhow, I especially would like to compliment Ms Xiao Luo for her hospitality since she extended our check out time to 3pm to accommodate our train departure time. We really appreciate the consideration. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. I would strongly recommend it to everyone who wishes to visit Emeishan to stay at Holiday Inn Express Emei Branch.

TTack Weng YeeIf you’re planning to go up to Mount Emei Golden Summit early to beat the crowd, Linggongli, which is located at mid-levels of Mount Emei, is a great place to put up the night. This place may not have many hotels and this hotel may not have many rooms but has air conditioning, floor heating and bed heating that ensures you can sleep comfortably even during nights with freezing temperatures. The rooms are super clean and staffs super friendly. We booked the 3 extended courtyard rooms and had our afternoon tea session on day of arrival. The hotel serves early breakfast upon request and we had one of our best dinners in a private room that night. What’s more incredible is we literally walked 1 minute to the Scenic Area Entrance to start our short journey up to the Golden Summit early. There were no long queues for the bus ride and cable car up. We were early to view the sea of clouds and got to see the sun rising above it. On our way down, the tour group crowds started swarming upwards but likewise we had we didn’t encounter cable car and bus queues.

UUsuario invitadoGreat service from all the staff here, who took good care of our needs during our stay. The free transfer from train station to the hotel is convenient. Special mention to Mr Li, the manager of the hotel, who was easy to deal with, and he tried his best to resolve issues during our stay.
The hotel is renovated within last few years, looks good, is clean, but the functionality of the rooms is not as well designed as it could have been. Having said that, it was overall a pleasant stay.
Location of the hotel is within a short walking distance to the Tourist Centre to enter Emeishan, and is situated right next to the river. Restaurant options nearby are limited however, and many not opened, perhaps due to current low season for tourists. Hotel breakfast is descent with reasonable range of food to choose from.
