La ubicación del hotel es muy buena. A la orilla del mar es la playa. La puerta del estacionamiento es segura y gratis. Hay supermercados alrededor, observa el tiempo de negocios, llegamos el domingo, la mayoría de las tiendas se cierran. La habitación es limpia, es lavar la cara y separar el agua fría. Muy bien. ¡Muy bien! Reservamos una autopista de 9:00 y llegamos a la carretera sucia en la reserva con 40 minutos para ahorrar. La carretera dijo cerrada! Ya habíamos cumplimentado el formulario de indemnización en línea, pero querían una copia de papel a pesar de que dijeron en el formulario en línea “salvar los árboles”. Para añadir insulto a la herida, el gerente dijo que volvería a nosotros sobre algo complimentario pero nunca lo hizo. Entonces fuimos a la carretera, nos encerramos en un pozo de la niebla y tuvimos que esperar por un vehículo alternativo, que era frío y incómodo en comparación con el primer vehículo. WE WILL COME BACK ALWAYS! Mid January 2023 we had a family emergency and on our way from Cape Town to the Eastern Cape we had a vehicle breakdown. Whilst we had our car being fixed, Santos Express Train Lodge was recommended as a place to stay overnight. We found it not only a place to stay but it became a place of comfort for us. LOVE, EMPATHY and PATIENCE coupled with great SERVICE from the staff is what lead us to taking a decision that we will be back. We then made a reservation for December 2023. WOW; On arrival we were greeted with so much joy and we could feel at home again. Let me mention again that Kim at reception who gave us a warm welcome as well as Zandile at the restaurant; great people. These are people's people and you can tell that it comes natural for them to love and care and they are very consistent. A cherry on top was added to this stay when I saw my wife's excitement when we arrived at our Royal Suite A. WOW! This room was perfect for us as a couple. It has Wifi, Mini Bar fridge, a shower, a bath etc. I really can't fault anything at the moment because so far we've always been treated as a Royal family in Santos Express Train Lodge. Nos quedamos 3 noches. La habitación está muy bien, pero el restaurante de la noche no es muy bueno. La habitación era muy grande, limpia y con una buena vista. ¡Le pregunté si podían poner algo, pero dijeron que verían si tienen, pero nunca regresaron a mí o me pusieron algo! La máquina de venta en la recepción también tuvo un problema y tuvimos que conducir para conseguir bebidas frías para los niños y algo para la habitación. El bar de la playa debajo de la playa toca música muy alta hasta media noche, y no podía dormir cada noche antes de que la música alta terminara.
