Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura durante un weekend fuori con amici. Essendo tanti avevamo prenotato due appartamenti, uno all'interno del palazzo principale e l'altro in uno dei palazzi ”secondari”. Entrambi gli appartamenti erano puliti e ben tenuti. Nota di merito per quello situato nel palazzo principale (un palazzo storico del '500), questo era infatti incredibilmente spazioso e luminoso, il terrazzo e le numerose finestre davano inoltre possibilità di affacciarsi sul fantastico panorama tipicamente toscano. Il personale è stato subito preparato ed accogliente nonostante fossimo un gruppo giovane e numeroso. All'arrivo ci è stata proposta una formula per l'aperitivo che a fronte di una quota fissa dava la possibilità di bere tutto lo spritz che si desiderava con annessi stuzzichini (patatine, arachidi,ecc.). Super soddisfacente anche la colazione che si presenta con un classico buffet di dolce e salato. Prodotti di ottima qualità che ci hanno ”costretto” a mangiare allo sfinimento. Faccio i cmplimenti allo staff, non perderò occasione di consigliarlo ad amici e parenti per i loro soggiorni

Arriviamo in questa struttura per la seconda volta. Eravamo già stati qui qualche anno fa ed eravamo stati benissimo. Stavolta l'esperienza ci ha costretto ad andarcene dopo solo 1 notte (dovevamo rimanere per 7 notti). Concretamente elenco tutti i disservizi del posto: 1) Non è possibile avere un caffè a portar via neanche pagandolo oro. Il bar della piscina non fa un semplice caffè a portar via. Alla mia richiesta del motivo mi è stato rispoto dalla reception che non hanno bicchieri di carta. La receptionist, con aria quasi scocciata, mi ha detto testuali parole ”se proprio ci tenete ad avere un caffè vedrò di rimediarvene uno io”. Ovviamente abbiamo rifiutato questa proposta ridicola che neanche un Ostello si degnerebbe di dare ai propri ospiti. 2) Il Bar della Piscina non permette di acquistare una bottiglia d'acqua fresca, in pieno Luglio con 40°C di temperatura. 3) Dopo alcune peripezie siami riusciti a ottenere 3 bottigliette d'acqua da 1/2 litro (in cartone tipo quello del latte) caldissime quasi bollenti perchè tenute al caldo. Il costo per 3 cartoncini di acqua bollente è stato 10,50€. 4) La location è assolata per tutta la giornata senza un minimo spazio di ombra all'aperto. Gli unici due gazebi che abbiamo individuato con un po di ombra dover poter rilassarci seduti erano ridotti in condizione pessime (vedere foto) senza neanche una sedia in cui sederci. In compenso c'era uno sgabello da ufficio (vedi foto) su cui ci si poteva rilassare. L'unico posto al fresco della struttura era la camera con aria condizionata. 5) La camera, il cui design è antiquato e non rinnovati da anni, non ha zanzariere ed è impossibile aprire le finestre perchè entrano api e insetti in continuazione (vedere foto). Per chi NON ama l'aria condizionata o per chi ama avere anche un po d'aria in stanza è praticamente impossibile. 6) Il Phon della camera non aveva un appendino e così l'unico posto in cui potevamo riporlo è stato per terra (vedere foto allegata). 7) Una buona parte di struttura (SPA e Borgo Filetta) non erano accessibili agli ospiti per problemi logistici. Per onestà devo dire che questa è un'informazione che la reception ci ha dato prima di prenotare. Tuttavia la struttura rimasta attiva è monotona senza la parte inaccessibile. Conclusioni: anni fa questa struttura era bellissima (se non sbaglio la gestione era Hilton). Oggi è un 3 stelle a tutti gli effetti. Disservizi continui, mancate accortezze in tutto. Sono stati in grado di negare anche un caffè. La colazione è scarissima rispetto ad altri 5 stelle visitati (vedere mie recensioni). Siamo andati via dopo la prima notte con la struttura che ci ha ”permesso” gentilmente di farlo senza dover pagare l'intero soggiono (addebitata solo la prima notte). Alla mia richiesta di una mano per trasportare i bagagli mi è stato negato l'aiuto dal ragazzo alla reception (chiamato il 23 Luglio alle 21:00 circa) invitandomi a fare da solo magari avvicinando la macchina alla mia camera.
