A wonderful renovated house with great, endless view into the borders. More important warm-welcoming and super friendly host and also excellent breakfast that leaves no wishes unheard. Definitely plan to come back for another stay very soon!

What a fantastic B&B, the location is wonderful and quiet and the breakfasts were top notch! Uta and Jason (the hosts) really go all out in both accommodating and making you feel at home. We stayed for three nights and had some of the best sleeps we’ve had in ages

Even more beautiful than the photos suggest. This is a beautifully executed Georgian house where the details are exquisite. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had and the hosts are quite a delight. Boutique and elegant, impossible to improve upon.

Went for a weekend with my friend and our daughters. A lovely welcome and a cup of tea. The rooms were lovely and everything was provided. At breakfast you could have any selection you wanted. Far better than lots of hotels I’ve been in. Uta was an excellent host ( even put our procceco in the fridge ). Plenty to see and do in the area. Hope to return and would definitely recommend Bowden House.

A real find. An elegant house beautifully furnished and Uta and Jason made us most welcome with a refreshing cup of tea and cakes after a long and snow blighted drive. All the facilities were first rate and we were given lots of advice on where to eat during our stay. We were served a really excellent breakfast on the two days of our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone touring the borders.

A wonderful place to stay, the house is beautiful, very comfortable and the hosts are fantastic. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough, the balance struck between being looked after whilst given space to do your own thing is super.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the charming Bowden House in the Scottish Borders. Uta is a wonderful cook and welcoming host. The B&B is a lovely old house with a beautiful view over the countryside.

An amazing venue with excellent customer service! The service received was so warm and genuine that it felt like we were staying with a distant relative that we hadn’t seen for years, such was the familiarity. Beautiful decor within and the breakfast was delightful!

superb room and facilities, great views from bedroom window, it was a shame I was working so didn't really have any time there to enjoy, Bed was large and comfortable, and shower powerful , good nights sleep which is a bonus if you are working
