Very spacious room. Reasonably clean.
Our most major complaints are the bathroom situation. To access a shower you need to literally climb over a very steep access into a bath, (higher than an overage bath depth.) To make matters worse the panel of glass which stops the water from spilling out onto the floor is located too far into the access area of the bath making access difficult to get in. Also, whilst there is a handle on the wall at the end of the bath where you get in, there is no other handles to steady yourself, there was NO NON SLIP BATH MAT which meant I almost slipped trying to get into the shower area. The end of the bath where the access to get in is at the curved end of the bath therefore you cannot put your foot into the bath flat on the surface. In the end I did not have a shower and neither did my husband. Very dangerous situation especially for elderly people.
The other major and dreadful situation is the access and exit to the basement car parking area. I have a RAV4 Hybrid. Access to get in was not too bad, however trying to maneuver the vehicle to exit was almost impossible, if it was not for another person in the car parking area, guiding me out I would never have been able to get out without damaging my vehicle. This was a very stressful exercise. I was also originally quote $35 for parking and upon arrival was asked to pay $40, which I explained was not what I was quoted, I was then only charged $35.
The milk for Coffee was left out of the fridge and when we made a coffee it was clearly OFF. Reception gave me new milk.
Rang reception from the room to talk about the milk. Rang 3 times in a space of 10 min with no answer, so I had to go downstairs to reception.
I would NEVER book this Quest Hotel again for the above major reasons.
