Luxury Hotel Riva

Excellent. The staff, service, food, comfort, cleanliness. It exceeded all our expectations. The beds comfotable too. Rooms are really big and beautiful. The pools nice, towels at hand. Would recommend. Breakfast with everything you desire and dinner really surprisingly tasty. Exceeded all expectations.

This Luxury hotel was opened in 2019, and is located in the centre of the Malinska on the Island of Krk. Because it was opened so recently, everything is very modern and quite new. I do not have enough superlatives to describe our stay here! Firstly our suite was superb, with an extremely comfortable bed, extraordinary soft shower, two sinks, a bidet and heated towel rail. The room safe was enormous! Our balcony had a private jacuzzi and loungers with a beautiful views of the sea. The hotel facilities include a fabulous spa, fitness centre, indoor and outdoor pools and several different types of saunas including an Adult view sauna. The property does not have a business centre, but the ever helpful reception will reconfirm your flights. The staff were attentive, helpful and empathetic, and the service everywhere was outstanding. We have stayed at many 5* resorts world wide, but I can't remember any where your breakfast table is chosen for you according to room number, but the excellent breakfast compensates for this. Would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend anyone to do the same! Well done!!!

It is a beautiful hotel in heart of Malinska. Rooms are large and beautiful. Bed is perfect. You can Stay in it. all day. Service is great. From recepcion to restaurant staff. Only one thing. Morning during breakfast you can not sit where is empty table you have your table by Room number. This never happened to us before in 5 star hotel. Breakfast was great.

The primary role of any hotel let alone a 5-star luxury hotel is to keep their guests and their possessions safe. In the case of Luxury Hotel Riva this they had comprehensively failed in that task. Our 2 teenage sons were asleep in their room and the night porter/security were duped by 2 drunken women that their husband was in our son’s room and the night security took them up to our son’s room and opened the room door for the 2 women to go on in. This was all done without checking if the 2 women knew the ID of the people that were registered in our son’s room or even checking with us who was in the main billing room for our son’s room. Having got into the room they came out having taken the room key from the wall slot and then proceeded to return to the room staying in the room for 10 minutes to rob my sons of their various valuables and credit cards. When I reported this story to the police at the police station, the first police officer commented that he had been working in Krk for a long time and this was the first time he had heard of such a case. It is easy to blame the hapless night porter for such a serious lapse of security if it wasn’t for the fact that he clearly lacked any training as in a meeting with the owners of the hotel after the event it was clear that basic identification of people requesting to be let into rooms without a key was something they still had to put in place.

Amazing stay in this hotel. Great location. Although in a pretty busy area, no noise from outside. The room was extra large, simply decorated, comfortable and clean. Very quiet air conditioning. The restaurant and food is the same great quality. And of course the staff is top as well. Thanks for the stay

Wir haben uns spontan für einen Urlaub auf Krk entschieden und sind im Hotel Riva nicht enttäuscht worden. Das Hotel an sich ist sehr modern, die Zimmer sind wirklich groß und sehr sauber. Wir hatten eine Junior Suite mit extra Zimmer für unsere Tochter. Der Blick auf die Marina sowie die Insel Cres war jeden Tag sehr beeindruckend. Besonders möchte ich den Poolbereich hervorheben, da wir eher gemischtes Wetter hatten, waren der beheizte Innenpool und der Whirlpool echte Lebensretter. Falls das Wetter mitspielt kann man das Meer aber auch am benachbarten Badeplatz genießen. Erwähnenswert ist auf jeden Fall auch noch das ausgezeichnete Essen, das man bei Halbpension jeden Abend serviert bekommt. Wir waren von dem 5-Gänge-Menü jeden Tag wieder begeistert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren das dritte Mal in diesen wunderschönen Hotel! Dieses Mal haben wir nicht nur Frühstück sondern Halbpension gebucht! Es war ein Volltreffer! Das Essen war genial! Wir haben uns jeden Tag auf das Essen gefreut! Mit Ausnahme der Vorspeisen und Salate vom Buffet wird anschließend ein 4 Gänge Menü serviert! Alles hat wunderbar geschmeckt und es war sehr abwechslungsreich! Einmal bekamen wir als Hauptgang eine ganze gegrillte Goldbrasse! Vorzügliche kroatische Weine! Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung im Restaurant und in der Bar! Frau Maja im SPA war sensationell! Massagen, Gesichtsbehandlungen und Pediküre waren erstklassig! Auch die Beratung war TOP! Das Luxury Hotel Riva ist eine sehr schöne Adresse. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, modern und sauber sowie das WLAN schön schnell. Man ist mitten im Geschehen, denn das Hotel liegt direkt an der Promenade. Die Fenster sind schalldicht, sodass man vom Trubel draußen beim Schlafen nichts mitbekommt. Wir haben sehr gut dort geschlafen. Sein Auto kann man kostenlos im hoteleigenen Parkhaus unterstellen und ein E—Auto sogar gratis laden. Sehr großer Pluspunkt! Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut, allerdings nicht besser als in anderen Hotels. Leider räumte das Personal die leeren Teller nur unregelmäßig bis gar nicht ab. Kam man abends in den Wellness- oder Fitnessbereich, dann fand man dort leider keine Handtücher und Wasser mehr vor. Für ein „Luxushotel“ empfand ich es auch unpassend, für das Wasser, was abends leider nur selten zur Verfügung stand, billige Plastikbecher hinzustellen. Lobenswert war das Personal an der Rezeption: Stets sehr höflich, freundlich und teilweise sogar deutschsprachig. Mein Fazit: Das Luxury Hotel Riva ist sehr schön und ich würde es definitiv wieder buchen. Für das Prädikat „Luxus“ fehlt aber definitiv (noch) einiges an professionellem Service.

In diesem Hotel machten wir den letzten Halt auf unserer Kroatien Reise und fanden die mit Abstand beste Unterkunft vor. Das ganze Hotel sowie die Zimmer sind modern, chic und hochwertig designt und ausgestattet, man fühlt sich von Anfang an wohl. Auch der indoor Wellnessbereich und der Aussenpool sind wunderschön gestaltet und laden wirklich zur Erholung ein! Die Mitarbeitenden sind freundlich, kompetent und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist ideal, um Abends im Ort flanieren gehen zu können. Um schöne Strände auf Krk zu entdecken, würden wir klar einen Mietwagen empfehlen. Speisen und Getränke haben uns qualitativ auch überzeugt, hier wären wir gerne auch länger geblieben und würden definitiv wieder dieses Hotel buchen, wenn wir wieder einmal in dieser Region sind.
