Un verdadero hotel de lujo pequeño. Muy acogedor. La habitación es limpia. Amo el tubo. El té de bienvenida y la torta de succión servida en la habitación era agradable. En cuanto a las instalaciones, su promedio, podría utilizar una mejor calidad de escobillo de dientes disponibles y proporcionar pantalones para ir a la piscina. This is a very new hotel which started their business in March 2023. Wanted to try on the first day of opening but due to some reason, it was delayed till now. It’s a first Marriott hotel in Melaka, so I do have very high expectations from them. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I’ve stayed in many hotel under Marriott organisation. Upon reaching the hotel with grab car, the staff came up to me immediately and lead me to the check in counter, the lobby are huge, and I can still smell that the hotel are still so new. Not much of the guest in the lobby area, it’s a Monday so I guess it’s normal. No suite room upgrade and no complimentary breakfast for a platinum member, although I was upgraded to a strait view room which I appreciated it. It can see a tiny bit of the sea. Apart from that, I guess the room size and amenity are the same. The check in staff told me that the suite room was full… I mean.. it’s a Monday.. and I literally still can see the suite room was available in the Bonvoy app. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been to many hotel under Marriott organisation. I don’t always get upgraded to a suite room, but it was okay, I do understand all these are subjected to individual hotel policy and it’s all a good will. But I guess the staff could just tell me that the hotel are still new, the suite room are limited and it’s reserved for paying guest. I would totally understand that. But I don’t think it’s wise to you know, use a default replied as member like us, we check on the app. For me, if there’s no available suite room, I wouldn’t even ask for an upgrade. Secondly, there’s no complimentary breakfast, I paid RM70 for the 2 day breakfast. I’ve stayed in a few courtyard hotel, this was the first one that I’ve paid for breakfast, there might be other courtyard that don’t provide complimentary breakfast for guest with elite status, maybe I didn’t stay much enough to see it all. I’ve stayed with hotel that told me that their facility actually don’t offer complimentary breakfast for elite member, but they will just give it to me as a good will on top of my welcome gift. Just a little suggestion, like maybe let the counter staff to decide, if they could slip in some complimentary breakfast to guest with elite status or even guest that potentially come back again. I’m not complaining here, just some of my suggestions. The room are new, nice and spacious, very clean. Nice TV channel selection, view was great. Bed are firm to the level that I like, they offer pillow menu as well. Had very good sleep for the 2 night. Breakfast was very basic. There’s a very annoying flies flying around my table.. how did it come into the hotel, lol. Gym are small but there should be everything you need. The infinity pool are great! Very good view and very Instagrammable. Please visit the pool when you are here. The staff and friendly and nice. Would come back again to the hotel when I’m back in Melaka.

The hotel from the exterior looked really grand. The room was quite big in size and the hotel reception staff were nice enough. We (husband, two teenage children and I) arrived an hour early and were directed to the note that they didn’t have early check-ins. The doorman was nice and gave us an umbrella as it was raining when we were going out. However, the bathroom was not very clean with rotting shower screen because of most likely poor cleaning. The towels in the bathroom were supposed to be white but were brown in colour and stained. Unfortunately, we had to use these as there was no other option, felt unclean after shower. The corridor had a musty odour which was overpowering. Stayed two nights and had put up a door sign to have the room cleaned but no one came around and we were out all day. Bottled water was given on the first day but not on the subsequent day. I’m glad we only stayed two nights as couldn’t have tolerated the place for any longer.

Cara Camilla Gracias por una estupenda estancia y un excelente servicio en su residencia. La extensión del desayuno Peranakan fue sorprendente para mi familia para experimentar el precio de muestra de cada plato. Apreciamos su muy amable idea de toda la experiencia, justo desde el día en que Chester nos acercó a los visitantes que perdieron la vista. Hemos compartido fotos y vistas con nuestros amigos y espero que eligen quedarse en su casa. Y gracias a su hija también por su interesante observación en sus huéspedes. Todo tuvo un buen contacto.

Es un hotel antiguo. Conseguí una habitación para que mi hijo y yo nos quedáramos del 31 de marzo al 1 de abril. El televisor no funcionaba completamente ya que algunos canales no tenían audio, retrasaban el audio y no tenían imagen, mientras que había 4 luces que no funcionaban. Aparte de eso, el personal durante el sahur me sirvió carne a pesar de que solicité cambiarla por cereal o cualquier otro menú, pero dijo que no estaba disponible. Tuve una reacción alérgica leve debido a que comí un poco de salsa porque no había otra opción excepto el arroz simple, ya que pagué RM 14 por él. Para mi sorpresa, durante el desayuno, el desayuno inglés y los cereales estaban disponibles para su pedido.

My stay at Rucksack Caratel Hotel in Melaka was disappointing. The lobby and reception area looked unprofessional, and the lift to go up to the rooms was small and slow. The rooms were extremely small and cramped, with black blinds instead of curtains and a poor selection of TV channels with bad signal. The WiFi was also poor, which made it difficult to use the TV and surf the internet. The room was dusty and lacked basic amenities, such as a place to put toiletries in the shower area, and there was no fridge available. Furthermore, the room layout was cramped and uncomfortable, with a dirty bed underneath the sleeping bed that wasn't even covered with a bedsheet. The quality of the room slippers was also poor. To make matters worse, there was no sheltered carpark for those driving, and early check-in was not possible despite requesting it in advance. Reception was only available until 10 pm, after which you had to look for the security guard if you needed anything. Overall, I cannot recommend Rucksack Caratel Hotel in Melaka due to the poor service and accommodation provided. It was an unpleasant experience that left me disappointed. Meant for backpackers in my opinion.

I am staying in Johor Bahru and my dad's home town is in Malacca.I stayed at Wayfarer with my parents for 2 days 1 night in conjunction with All Souls Day.I really loved the room very much!It is so oriental,clean,cosy,nice&with a beautiful balcony room.Free wifi is provided as well.Most importanty,the location of the guest house is in the heart of town.What a great location!We could walk around so easily without having to drive our car around the town area.What I like most about Wayfarer is that,it is so close to Jonker Walk,Jonker Street and the Christ church area.Opposite of my balcony room,I can see the St.Xavier's church and the Malacca river with the river cruise boats passing by all the time.I really can't forget my stay at Wayfarer.I truly recommend people to come and stay at Wayfarer!They won't regret it and the price of the rooms are so cheap and reasonable.The toilets are absolutely clean and the management provides hand wash and shower foams for the guests to use.The room that I stayed in also has a bath tub.Last but not least,Wayfarer has given me and my family a very good and friendly service.I will never ever forget my stay at Wayfarer.I will definately come back to Wayfarer to stay again when there is another chance and another good opportunity.So,I would like to wish the management of Wayfarer and their immediate families all the best and good luck in their tourism business and also all the best in their future undertakings!Thank you very much Wayfarer for letting me and my family have a really sweet,fun and lovely stay.We managed to make good memories at Wayfarer and in Malacca.I LOVE WAYFARER SO SO MUCH!
