非常非常美的酒店，最好的體驗 從景色 房間 服務 食物 都無可挑剔 早餐是特別好吃的自助餐，每天不一樣還有鮮榨果汁 下午有各種活動 我們參加了海釣還可以吃自己釣的魚 晚上在燈塔的晚餐太浪漫了 食物也很好 水上spa簡直絕絕子 每家房間門口還有屬於自己的自行車 可以在島上環遊

酒店在魅力的馬爾代夫島上，服務人員態度很好很細心，住的是水屋，躺在床上就可以看蔚藍大海心情很好

Following our stay at the Ritz Carlton, Fari Islands, we were met at the airport by the Intercontinental team who quickly took over the arrangements. It was a very smooth “handover” as they were waiting for us at the steps from the boat as we arrived from the Fari Islands, took our luggage and accompanied us to the minibus and then to the Intercontinental lounge at the seaplane terminal. There, we waited for about an hour while other guests arrived and our aircraft was being prepared. The lounge was comfortable, with free wifi and basic check in formalities were carried out there. Drinks and snacks were also offered. From there, we had a smooth 35 minute seaplane ride to Maamunagau, despite it being a grey and windy day. Upon landing, we were quickly met by one of the resort boats and we were on a buggy on our way to our villa in no time. We stayed in a Sunset One Bedroom Lagoon Pool Villa which was extremely spacious. On the ground floor we had the living area with a toilet and washbasin leading out to the outdoor shower. This links to the outdoor patio with a good sized plunge pool, right above the sea. There is a double seating area outside. We also requested two sun loungers which the staff were happy to provide for the duration of our stay. It was great to see rays, parrot fish and even leopard sharks swimming past every day. Lastly, there is a sitting area at the front of the villa which can be used for dining or just lounging but didn’t find ourselves using this much. Upstairs was the open plan bedroom with a comfortable king size bed, open wardrobe and sink, as well as separate toilet and shower in individual rooms. The large bathtub is right by a floor to ceiling window at the end of the room behind the bed with spectacular sea and sunset views. In front of the bed were also floor to ceiling glass doors opening out to a balcony with a view of the resort. With this setup you get to see both sunrise and sunset! All in all, the set up is very well thought out and made for a very comfortable stay. The air conditioning units were powerful and worked well to keep the room cool throughout. Complimentary moooi bathroom amenities are provided throughout the villa, including soaps, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and body lotion. Complimentary bicycles were available and we were able to cycle around the resort, to the spa and the various dining venues. Buggies are available to those who do not wish to walk or cycle. The hotel has three main restaurants; Umi, the all day dining restaurant, as well as the Lighthouse and Fish Market serving dinner. The Collective serves lunch and afternoon tea while the adults only Retreat, with its own swimming pool is a great place to relax. We enjoyed top quality food at all the restaurants throughout our stay. I’ll admit that when we first arrived we thought the menus may be a little limited and could get repetitive but in fact, we enjoyed a great variety of food, especially fish! Complimentary drink

Our family of 4 stayed in the resort for 7 days and everyone loved the place so much. We decided on InterContinental after reading lots of reviews of several big brand name resorts. Really glad we decided to stay with them. We had lots of fun and we were so well taken care of - from the moment we stepped out of the arrival hall to the moment we had to go into the departure immigration hall. The property is barely 3 years old and everything was well-maintained and kept in tip top condition. The beachfront residence we stayed in was spacious and beautifully decorated. The pictures on their website don’t do it justice. Probably the first time the actual room/residence looks better in real life than website photos! It was very clean. Considering it was a beach front property, I was impressed there was no trace of sand in the residence when we checked in. The food from the restaurants were good. There are the usual international cuisine and lots of local dishes and curries. A very good selection of vegetarian food too. Breakfast spread was great. We especially loved the curry chicken, curry fish, freshly made dosa, prata. The kids had great fun in the kids club and created some beautiful crafts which are great souvenirs. While the kids were enjoying themselves, we stole away to the adults-only The Retreat to enjoy some late afternoon cocktails which were included in the package. Sipping cocktails while looking out to the boundless, blue Indian Ocean must be one of life’s greatest pleasure. Last but not least, it was definitely the staff of the resort that made this holiday an extra enjoyable one. They brought it from a “Good” to a “Great”. Everyone in the team - from the housekeep to the Resort Director - genuinely seem to enjoy being there, enjoy being part of the team that delivers the highest customer satisfaction. Feedback is taken seriously and they are really sincere in ensuring every guest is well taken care of.

From the moment the charismatic, charming JB, the resort manager, and his team greet you from the speedboat with waves, smiles and drumming, you know that you are in a classy establishment. The property is utterly beautiful, the rooms superb and the food delicious. But that could be said of many Maldivian properties. Where Maamunagau really excels is the quality of the service and the personalised attention to detail. Everywhere one goes there are people with a genuine desire to ensure that your holiday is perfect. Victoria runs the F and B with a refined classiness, the afternoon teas served by the absolutely delightful Joy in the retreat each day are enormous and divine, the "curators" (or butlers as other resorts call them) attend to one`s every need and the vast number of staff who ensure that buggy transportation is always available are all delightful and charming. As always with The Maldives, check your dates (although I enjoyed The Spa hugely on the rainy day) and visit this island if you have the chance. You will most certainly not regret it.

First of all, book your stay RIGHT NOW and be ready to live the experience of a lifetime. Maldives was in our bucketlist and we finally reserved our hotel from our IHG chain hotels membership. At our arrival the managers and team received us with a warmly yet royally welcome, the facility was emacule and beath taking at all times and at all corner. I don;t think I have ever been in a place where the kindness, friendliness and attentiveness of the staff is way above and beyond measures. I would problably will miss someone in the list below and if I did, please forgive me: Jaleel & Maria: Outstanding curators (butlers) ever always on top of every details, never missed a beat. BOBIN: Best bartender ever, extremely gifted and amazing customer service, best drinks I've ever had, certified somalier, what? definetely seek him out and ask for whatever, he has the hands for it, LOVED HIM! MASAROF: Awesome bartender as well, always on top of what I needed while on the beach, magnificent personality. JOY: Amazing drinks at reteat center, please also try her out. MO, DIDOR, SWEETY, JOVI, ALI & JUSSEF: No comparison on the level of customer service, just the best ever, along with the restaurant manager. Damson: A very special thanks to you for your oustanding service during our anniversay dinner at the beach. MUTI (not sure if I said that right, sorry): Marine center guide for our turtle tour, I respect and value so much the love and respect you showed for your natural reserve, yet you went above and beyond on showing us the beautiful turtle sanctuary, love the kindness and willingness. Maseeh & Marila: Our room attendants, always on top of thing, more than necesary, just awesome! Coetzer: Last but never least, you are great, your team is a true represenation of the wonderful job you are doing. I don't think I have EVER seen a manager so engaged, dedicated and involved as you are, congratulations sir. For some reason, leaving the hotel was even a bit emotional for me, this was an experience I will never forget. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for our experience. A Maldives trip is about a beautiful living space in an already beautiful place, while relaxing away from everyday life and being taken care of by professionals at making it happen. The team at the IC Maamunagau nailed all of this, and then added some genuine friendliness as the cherry on top. A high quality experience. Lots of pros: +Coetzer and JB (senior managers) are always around and quite engaged with making sure guests are having a good time and addressing any possible issues (which few items your personal curator probably took care of anyway) +Several staff members went genuinely above and beyond in their care for us. Jyoti (/Joy) at the Retreat was as important to our everyday experience as the perfect weather! Yen at the morning yoga classes is a kind soul who helped my wife destress and enjoy her surroundings that much more. Novi and Hamdullah and Didot and many others of the kitchen and wait staff at breakfast really kicked off our days beautifully. +The lagoon villa was a beautiful mix of ocean and lagoon facing, and in very good condition, and contemporary in design. Would recommend it unless you have a strong preference for direct ocean access from your villa, in which case the overwater or beach villas are better. But we saw dolphins and sharks from our villa pool! +The steamed fish at Fish Market was very well done. The Lighthouse has amazing views and strong service. +Personal bikes, buggy and housekeeping quickly available, almost instant responses from our curator at any time, the afternoon tea and sundowner drinks, all were very nice touches that added the luxury feel Potential improvements: - Not really much to say here, and the main thing that comes to mind is one that the resort has limited/no control over. The seaplane from/to Male airport is hot and stuffy and tight seating, but that's operated by TMA and the same for almost all resorts

기분 좋은 신혼여행이었어요! 듣던 대로 방은 타 비슷한 급의 리조트보다 작았지만 인테리어랑 객실은 나쁘지 않았고 밥이 정말 맛있었습니다 :) 하프보드였는데도 충분했어요! 다만 술을 좋아하신다거나 다양하게 점심에도 드시고 싶으시다면 올인으로 즐기시는게 더 편할 것 같긴 합니다! I had just Perfect honeymoon here. The villa was bit small compared to many 5 star resorts in Maldives, but the interior was modern and nice. Absolutly delicious food and kind staffs. Really enjoyed every moment and hope to revisit again. Also, the house reef was full of pretty corals and fishs. someone told me there somtimes are turtles and octopus too, however unfortunately I couldnt see them but it was still beautiful. Excursions were fun too. Sadly I wasnt lucky enough to meet Manta, but turtle was so cute too. (They told me October is great season to see Manta) If you want to snorkle a lot I would recommed you to stay at the beach villa near the house reef. (the ragoon is pretty to watch) Still the view from Lagoon pool villa and overwater pool villa was just amazing and so peaceful. And specially Thanks to Joy, She made our holiday the most lovely and funniest time of my life. She was gental and kind, not to mention her lovelyness. She was professional and greeat bartendar at the retreat (the only place for the adult). Thanks so much :) Love you ❤️
