The Town House Ludlow

OMG！完全超出我預期的好！我好喜歡，下次還會再住！真希望能在這裏多住幾晚！房子是老房子，但維護得非常好，很乾凈！

The Townhouse Ludlow is a wonderful place to stay. My husband and I have stayed there many times over the years, and we always choose it first when we visit Ludlow. The rooms are beautifully decorated, cosy and warm; the beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are gorgeous. The location is perfect, right in the centre of town. The rooms are cleaned daily, and all of the staff (Ed, Steve, the cleaners, the people at Harp Deli) are all very friendly and helpful. Thank you to all of the Townhouse team for a wonderful stay.

Well. What a pleasant surprise the Townhouse was. It's a little bit fiddly getting the key, they don't do breakfast and they don't have their own car park, but boy oh boy, what a fantastic room with a terrific view down the street towards the castle. The room (room 8) was huge with the biggest bed I've ever slept in. Separate bathroom and shower room, comfortable chairs and table, TV cabinet and a fridge! My wife was delighted with it and so was I. They even had phone charger cables in a drawer and bottles of water in the fridge. Ludlow itself is a dream and well worth exploring. The castle, for those who like medieval history, is a joy and I can fully recommend taking a walk across the river Teme at the back of the castle for some amazing vistas of the castle. Great town, great hotel, great experience.

A lovely place to stay right in the centre of Ludlow. We only stayed one night after the races but had a wonderful experience. All 4 rooms we used were exceptional, clean, spacious, light and airy. Very comfortable large beds. Would definitely stay on our next visit.

Excellent location with all of Ludlow’s main sites and eating places very close by. It’s a very old black and white building - with low beams! - but the rooms and amenities have been very tastefully upgraded for the modern traveller so you have the best of both worlds. Nearest car park is the Castle one which is no more than 5 minutes walk away. It would have been nice if the guest book gave a bit of history on the building.

Excellent location. Very friendly hosts. We were upgraded to the “Junior Suite”. Junior in name but equal and better than many so called suites we’ve stayed in elsewhere.. I suppose it would be easy to be picky over a the odd item, but we were delighted . We would definitely try to book again next time in or near LUDLOW.

Perfect location in town centre, Tudor frontage and style maintained inside, but fully modernised with a large bathroom (bath + walk-in shower), large bedroom with additional sitting area. Only drawback: complicated access arrangement with key + keyfobs etc, only one between the 2 of us, which would have been inconvenient if we had stayed more than 1 night

Nicely situated in the town. Lovely big room. Warm. Very large with two sitting areas. Had iron, ironing board and a fan in a cupboard as well as a hair dryer. Old fashioned bathroom but everything worked so just aesthetically lacking really (the tiles were from a bygone era). Uncomfortable bed (too firm for me-I’d add a lovely topper) that needs better linens and a feather and down duvet and pillows (the pillows need to go in the bin). Was warm and had opening windows. You check in at the local deli and that worked really well-charming and helpful. When paying £140 a night you expect water to be replenished as well as having enough toiletries to last the stay. I think you’d also expect nicer biscuits. It’s nice but it could be sooo much nicer. I’d go back and I’d pay more for a comfy bed and a refurbished bathroom. Maybe a little sound insulation too (if it’s allowed in such a gorgeous old building?) as it’s very noisy from very early in the morning. Just to repeat- position is great and check in/out is pleasant and painless. It’s also very pretty and spacious. To me though it’s just not luxurious.
