Lindo hotel El buffet no era lo que esperaba, es el tipo de comida que se llama. Creo que el hotel al menos debería tener las habitaciones listas un poco antes. Por cierto, no vi ningún bocadillo como papas fritas, galletas, etc.

Sólo me quedo una noche. Sin embargo, recibí un servicio al cliente increíble. Me permitieron almorzar antes de mi hora oficial de registro, que eran las 3 p.m. . La joven del área de equipaje fue profesional. Después de registrarme y recibir mi botella de agua y champán. Me dijeron adónde ir pero me confundí un poco. No obstante, pregunté dónde estaba el buffet y un caballero de la playa me acompañó al restaurante buffet donde te dan las toallas. Cuando llegué al buffet un joven me saludó con una linda sonrisa y me ofreció algo de beber haciéndome saber que el restaurante estaba cerrado y abrirá en breve. Esto para mí fue un servicio al cliente increíble. Le hice algunas preguntas relacionadas con Wi-Fi y pudo responderme. Mi único problema fue que verifiqué que no puede obtener acceso a Wi-Fi hasta que se le asigne un número de habitación. Me registré a las 12 a. m. y mi habitación iba a estar lista hasta las 3 p. m. No tenía acceso a Wi-Fi y no podía llamar a mi familia para informarles que estaba a salvo. Debería haber una manera de obtener acceso a Wi-Fi antes de que se le asigne una habitación. Un acceso único Acceso de 30 minutos Aparte de eso, todo lo demás fue genial. Los trabajadores de Buffett fueron increíbles, especialmente un joven con trenzas que trabajó en el turno de mañana y tarde la noche del 7/8/23.

La playa es bonita y se ven los aviones despegar y aterrizar. El paquete de tres comidas es apto para un vago como yo. Es muy despreocupado. El día del check-out no se puede entrar al excepto en los restaurantes, cafés, snacks y bares, también puede entrar y salir libremente.

This is my second time staying at Sonesta Maho. I stayed here right before the pandemic started and I had an enjoyable stay. This time however was not it. Housekeeping was very laxed in servicing the rooms. I encountered that other guests were experiencing the same. Housekeeping would either not service the rooms or take an extremely long time to tend to them. If they did manage to service the room, it was not full service: no fresh towels, no new toiletries like soap or tissue, etc. Then to add insult to injury, the pool towel desk has a supervisor who is very rude and caters to Caucasian guests. After this stay, I will not return to Sonesta Maho.

Voor de 3e keer hier verbleven. Personeel is erg vriendelijk (over het algemeen). Locatie dichtbij vliegveld St Maarten, zelfs op loopafstand. Kamer was goed met genoeg faciliteiten (belangrijkste: goede airco).

La propiedad es muy bonita y con buenas facilidades. Se encuentra en un área accesible y con variedad de actividades. Sin embargo, debe mejorar el aislamiento de los ruidos externos. Nuestra habitación quedaba hacia la calle y el ruido de la discoteca Moonbar Rooftop, no permitió que pusiéramos descanzar. La música se extiende hasta alta horas de la madrugada.

Todo estubo muy bien. Comida muy buena. Las personas muy amables. Muy limpio. Lo único malo es el staff que venden los tours son malísimos. No dan información de nada. No tienen entusiasmo. No venden. Tuvimos que salir afuera a comprar excursiones porque nadie no supo decir nada. En lo demás todo muy bien. Volveríamos otra ves.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The service was the worst of all. Not one staff had a smiling face even though we kept tipping them a lot and they were still very rude. Seems like this resort has major management issues. Poor supervision and food was not so great.

Lobby is stunning. The pool is a little disappointing. First time I encountered a pool with liner at a resort. Not enough pool loungers, everything was taken by 8am so nowhere to sit by pool. Food was so so, definitely not the best. But location is everything. You can see planes landing from the resort or from rooms. For this reason, we loved the resort.

Overall experience was good. Front desk staffs were great, easy to talk to and very professional, the bag holders as well. However, some of the bar tenders (pool bar and bar close to the beach) need either to be re-trained or fired for their attitude. Unfortunately, I can't put everybody in the same category since we also experienced some nice bar tenders. Only one bad experience at the main dining buffet. A lady we asked for water, literally walked past us and rolled her eyes. We called her back and told her we didn't not want her service. An older lady was very nice to us and we gave a $50 tip. Attitude from employees is what is going to kill this business. You give us attitude, you won't get a tip. Folks need to realize that tips can be given at any time, just because I didn't give you one the first time, doesn't mean you won't get any later. Maybe I just didn't have it at that time.

I loved the hospitality, the location, the food, and the entertainment. I didn’t like that there was not enough seating around the pool to accommodate guests. You have to wake up early and lay a towel on a chair to save a seat. Also, the elevator in the middle was not working therefore wait time for the elevator was longer. I give 4 stars for these reasons. Hotel staff was AMAZING!!

This is my second Sonesta brand stay and wont be my last. The staff was super friendly and had answers for all our question about not only the hotel but St. Marteen on a whole! Will be back!

This is a great all inclusive resort next to Maho beach. The food was good, staff friendly. Very neat watching the planes come in. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the ****** across the street from us was blasting music until 4 am for 3 out of the 4 nights we were there. This made sleeping difficult. I would recommend you stay on the pool side of the hotel to avoid this.

We have been coming to the Sonesta in St Marten for years- the level of cleanliness and condition of the rooms and service has definitely declined. We stayed at both Ocean Point and Sonesta and I wouldn’t pay that kind of money again for the lack of attention to cleanliness and details again. A lot of other places to stay that charge a lot less for what we experienced.
