fabulous hotel, the staff are second to none, nothing is to much trouble, the bar man even remembered what we were drinking, the waitresses were fab as was the reception team the food quality is excellent, but the choice for evening meal was so small and never changed, as i mainly eat white meat pork and chicken this was not an option, i can not eat fish so this narrowed my choice down even more a specials board would be nice breakfast was lovely plenty of choice and sunday roast was only served at lunch time

We had two adults and two toddlers staying in one of the lodges. Everything was clean, tidy and thoughtfully provided. The only issue we had was using the Internet connection which seemed to be provided by a third party and did not fill us with confidence regarding its potential intrusion. It should have been a straight forward connection provided by a straightforward WiFi signal (terms and conditions acceptance being acceptable). Many (most) places provide this as a courtesy. Having said all of that, the swimming pool was relatively small, but perfect for a little exercise and for a family with young children. The food was well prepared and reasonable value. The grounds are very pleasant with walks. We did not try the Gym or other facilities as it was only a short break. All staff we had dealings with were always friendly and helpful. We would go again, it is a very pleasant hotel with a matching a**osphere.

Staying at Wyndham manor was a treat. Beautiful views of the estuary from the terrace and bedroom. Very comfortable bedroom. We enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna. Lovely breakfast. All the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. A wonderful place for a relaxing break.

Over priced restaurant and bar. Little choose on menu, poor excuse for small menu. Small kitchen does not Warren small menu. A good chef will be able to cope. Check in was mixed up with wrong room given and had to be followed to change. Check out very good and professional. Bar staff did not know who had what or which table they were at. Quiz was very good, and entertaining.

We stayed in a cottage in the hotel grounds (of which there were many a bit like centre parcs) so could self-cater but could use the hotel for the swimming pool and breakfast. The cottage was simple but a good layout and had everything we needed. We were a party of 5 and on arrival the sofabed had not been made up for the 5th guest which I found a little disappointing so we had to work out the sofabed and make the bed ourselves but a minor thing. We also didn't have pool towels in our cottage ready for us but they acted on this straight away when we told them. We really enjoyed our stay, the hotel is lovely with nice grounds a woodland walk and a small kids play area. It was myself and 4 children and having the pool was a highlight and the hotel breakfast was really good food every day. The welcome hamper was also a nice surprise.

A lovely location, cosy accommodation but we were very disappointed to have to make upnone of our beds, as this wasn't done. We have travelled extensively domestically and internationally and have never experienced this, particularly from a reputable chain. There was also no iron in the room, or milk for a cup of tea.
