Sofitel London St James is in a fantastic location in the heart of London! A hop, skip and a jump to Piccadilly Underground and a short walking distance to Pall Mall, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square and Big Ben! The staff are all very professional and courteous and always greeted me with a smile each day. The onsite bar and restaurant were fantastic and the in-room dining menu offered many delicious options! It was my 'home away from home' for a 12-night business stay and I enjoyed every minute of it! If my travel budget allows, I will return! Thank you!

The Haymarket is not a grand hotel by any means, but that’s just fine by us. It is extremely comfortable, with excellent service, large, well-organized rooms (even in the lowest category), luxurious bathrooms with powerful showers, and wonderfully inviting common areas. The staff is always pleasant and seem to like working there. The location is ideal for us - easy access to the theatres, restaurants and shops of Soho and Mayfair, and to the Mall, Green and Hyde Parks for morning runs. Staying there is akin to visiting a friend who has eclectic and excellent decorating taste - and a wonderful 55 foot long swimming pool in the basement. Per our request, we were given the same room we had stayed in last July - and it was ready for us when we arrived at 1pm. Sadly the light we had enjoyed through the large windows during our last stay was obscured by painting scaffolding and nets - but I suppose one has to keep up appearances…After years of staying at the Berkeley and the Connaught, with occasional unfortunate forays to the Hotel Cafe Royal and the Stafford, we have found a London hotel that works for us; while expensive, it represents good value in the stratospherically priced market.

This hotel is a real diamond. The experience from start to finish was fantastic. Everything I experienced was wonderful. From the exceptional variety of food for breakfast, to the quick and precise room service where drinks and food came after only a short wait, to the amazing staff. Everyone from the person who greeted me at the door to reception, housekeeping staff, restaurant staff and in the wellness centre were very cordial, kind and attentive making my experience great. Would I recommend this hotel…. The only answer is yes

Buscaba un hotel bien situado y con buen servicio. Las habitaciones muy amplias. El gimnasio la sauna y la piscina muy buenos y fácil acceso desde la habitación. Todo el personal muy amable. Volveré, se puede acceder andando a todo el centro.

Modern hotel in a great location for theater, restaurants, and public transportation. Although it's next to Chinatown, room (6th floor) was quiet. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. We arrived about 11 AM, tired after an overnight flight from the US. Could not get into our room, but the hotel invited us to relax and rest at their spa. This was a great courtesy. We even were invited to shower there, although we didn't take them up on that offer. The spa staff and the hotel staff were exceptionally friendly. Room layout a bit strange with the sink in the middle of the room.

La situación de este hotel si eres turista es muy buena, pues tienes muchas atracciones cerca. La habitación, la 709 está bien y tiene vistas hacia Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, etc,. El colchón algo antiguo, está un poco doblado en el centro. Pero la calidad del sueño es buena. La limpieza ha sido muy buena por parte de Alice. El desayuno es también muy bueno, con productos de calidad. Croassants de 10. El personal muy atento. En el primer desayuno no nos dieron la carta donde puedes elegir entre varias formas de cocinar huevos, french toast, etc,. Como cortesía en recepción tienen surtido de golosinas, también manzanas y agua, buena idea, pero a los que tenemos ”guerra” a los azúcares, unas frutas por ejemplo deshidratadas o frutos secos estarían bien.

Buena ubicación, justo al lado de Trafalgar Square, al lado de Tesco Express y Macdonald. La habitación del hotel también es grande. Servicio amable, puedes pedir comida china con solo comer. La habitación tiene un microondas. La higiene es normal, parece gris y el baño tiene un ligero olor. No hay estacionamiento propio. Hay un estacionamiento cooperativo al otro lado de la plaza. Puede estacionar temporalmente en la puerta y dejar su equipaje antes de ir al estacionamiento. El estacionamiento cuesta 44 libras por día y alrededor de 37 libras con un cupón de hotel. En realidad, hay dos hoteles aquí, uno es grandioso y el otro es cq. Reservé grandioso pero viví en Cq. No sé cómo arreglarlo. Cuando el hotel no está ocupado, se vende a 7-800 y el precio es bueno. Después de todo, está cerca del Támesis y otras atracciones.

Hermoso hotel en una hermosa ubicación, el personal es tan acogedor incluso antes de que entres, están afuera sonriendo y dándote la bienvenida, haciendo todo lo posible para ayudarte. Nos gusto el hotel , la ubicacion es excelente pero hay cosas que se pueden mejorar. Creo que una cortina de plastico en la bañera no es del siglo 21 , un hotel de 4 estrellas con estos precios. En la estancia de 6 dias solo han limpiado la habitacion 2 veces !!! El dia que llegamos estaba limpia por supuesto , el segundo dia llegamos a las 22.00 h y vemos que no habian limpiado . Lo comento en recepcion y me dicen que hay que avisar si quieren que limpien la habitacion. MMM, de eso no nos informaron en el check in. Pues pregunto si me lo podrian limpiar el dia siguente, tampoco era posible pq hay que pedir limpieza de hab 24 horas antes ( nada flexible en este aspecto ). Tambien hay cosas positivas : ubicacion , cafe gratis en el lobby y aceso al internet , personal muy amable. Botellas de agua gratis en cada planta.

Me asustaron los comentarios del hotel . Una vez allí . Ubicación un 10, limpieza habitación muy bien , simplemente si quieres que te hagan cama o cambien toallas debes llamar a recepción, no se hace por defecto. La habitación es 100,% funcional. Ningún extra , no hay armario, no hay estanterías , no hay secador , no hay nevera . Secador te lo dan en recepción si lo necesitas dejando fianza . Hotel muy nuevo. Habitación interior pero lo sabíamos antes de ir por los comentarios , así que no nos sorprendió . Habitación muy tranquila , dormimos muy bien, buen colchón. Recomendado si vas a estar poco en el hotel , lo que fue nuestro caso pues nos centramos en patear la ciudad . Todo cerca , metro a 20 metros . Buena opción si vas de turismo a Lo dres .

La ubicación y el servicio son algunos de los puntos de atención. La habitación podría usar algunos TLC sin embargo - cubiertas de colchón rotas/off, una lámpara no funcionaba con ningún interruptor, un interruptor también se perdió ligeramente. Abriendo el desayuno a las 7:10, yo estaba allí a las 7:10 y los artículos de desayuno calientes ya estaban en el lado más frío.

La ubicación perfecta, a un paso de todo, especialmente de teatros. El desayuno, variado y sabroso. La habitación correcta y muy limpia. Y por último, pero no menos importante, los empleados con la sonrisa en los labios y con ganas de agradar. No se puede pedir más para 4 días. Un acierto.

Estuvimos alojadas del 30 de junio al 3 de julio en el hotel. Y la verdad desde que llegamos todo fue una desilusión. El mal trato del personal de recepción para resaltar, no resuelve nada y tienen mala predisposición. Uno llega entusiasmado con el viaje y con buen animo y ellos se encargan de arruinarlo. No solo nos pasó a nosotras. Había muchos huéspedes igual. El hotel tiene feo olor en la recepción y pésima limpieza en los cuartos, las alfombras apestan. Hasta había maní desparramado. Nosotras contratamos 2 habitaciones std y a mi hermana le dieron una sin ventana parecía una madriguera , con olor húmedas. Dijeron que sea podía ser cualquiera. Luego vimos que no era así ña sin ventana es categoría teatro como tenían over book no les importo y te daban cualquier cosa . Lo único bueno la ubicación y el desayuno del hotel. Muy mala relación calidad precio . No volvería jamás. Es la primera vez que escribo comentarios negativo de un hotel.

Hotel muy satisfecho, la ubicación también es muy buena, es conveniente para ir de compras. El desayuno en el hotel es a la carta y muy abundante. Estuvimos siete días y probamos muchos desayunos diferentes, todos deliciosos. Los macarons de la foto fueron presentados por el hotel un día y quedaron gratamente sorprendidos. Y la tarta de queso de abajo es deliciosa y tiene un sabor maravilloso. Los amigos a los que les gustan los dulces pueden probarlo. La próxima vez que venga a Londres seguiré eligiendo este hotel.
