I’m going to start w the positives. Amber is in a beautiful location on a private beach with nothing around. The walkways are lush with blooming banana trees and pineapple plants. I used the spa everyday while I was there. The treatments were all wonderful and in a peaceful ambiance. The staff was very friendly from the front office to the walkways and in the restaurant. The restaurant was very understaffed on Saturday night for the bbq dinner. The servers were great they just needed more hands on the floor. It seemed the manager of the restaurant just sat up front on his phone all the time. The hotel is very family oriented and I didn’t pick up on that at my time of booking. Kids running and screaming all day long. Parents, nanny’s and staff yelling for children that were running around wild all day. At Breakfast, lunch/pool time & dinner they were multiple family’s just letting the kids run around everywhere. There wasn’t any peaceful time at the pool to read or relax. At 1 point there were 12 small children at the pool on Sunday. The one day I didn’t got to the pool because it was so crowded. I love the room when I checked in but that faded quickly. Lots of mosquitoes in the room. I killed at least 10 by hand and every time I left I sprayed the poison can they left in the room. The bathroom had a terrible smell all the time. The bedding was dirty dirty not stained it was unwashed. I left the clean room sign on the door all day I figured by the time I got back from my massage it would of been by 4:30 and it was not. The comforter was covered up by the blanket and never changed since prior guests. It had blood marks that had not been washed for who knows how long. I was bit by something in the night on my face around 3:30am and my face swelled up. I turned the light on but couldn’t see any insects. It hurt so bad. I told the front desk the next morning and they got me an ointment to put on it. It was swollen for days and very painful. I had expectations that it would of been amazing but it wasn’t. My food was all delicious, the restaurant staff was very nice and friendly, the spa was great but the structure of the hotel has a lot to work on for the price. I’ve been in lombok for 2 months and I’ve never seen so many small children. If it was advertised as kid friendly I would of picked somewhere else. Even at check out a family was also leaving and 2 of the 3 kids were crying and I said there has been kids screaming and crying every hour for the 3 days I was there. Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the rooms For the money there are many better options in south lombok

Pearl of Trawangan was a luxurious, incredibly clean, and central hotel, whilst still being far enough away from the noise of the local bars (5 minute walk from bars). The pool was lovely with a very well kept pool bar, managed by very helpful and attentive staff who couldn’t have been nicer/more accommodating. There were bikes you could hire from 100,000 rupiah (approx £5) per day to make your way round the island as there are no cars on Gili T. The rooms were spacious with a lot of storage, good AC and a comfortable bed. The bathroom area is effectively outside, however there is a canopy and it is always kept spotless by the staff so was still very comfortable. The restaurant was also second to none. They feed you plenty at breakfast time offering complimentary pastries and fruit, and have plenty of options for your “main” breakfast. Our breakfast was included when booking our stay. We also had a lunch and a dinner here, both of which were superb. Having cycled round the whole island, I think we chose the best accommodation on the island. Some of the others, despite looking nice, had pools right by the main road which didn’t offer much privacy, whereas the pool here was set back, still benefitted from the sun shining on it all day, and offered plenty of sun loungers. They also had their own loungers on a designated part of the beach, which is literally 10 steps from the hotel reception, meaning you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Could not recommend enough. We stayed here mid-June 2023.

Parece que se ha convertido en RedDoorz, así que estoy más seguro porque está bien. La habitación es amplia, me sorprende obtener una habitación como esta por el precio 200k. Situada en el centro de la ciudad de la caída de agua en la antena senggi y el aeropuerto, así que está bien.

A local 4-star hotel with just a so so location and service. Location was said quiet close by many food options but there is better location than this hotel. As for Service, I asked for the price for whole day rental for a car and front desk said someone will call me to my room but it turn out no one really call me. Amenities just below par, towel are old. No hand or face towel, or maybe this is just the hotel standard. The floor where I stayed, is dark and did not give good impression.

I very much warn AGAINST booking at this hotel and want to share my experience with Selong Selo on here to spare others the nightmare we experienced: This hotel essentially took our money and made it impossible to get a refund or rebooking. We had booked a stay at Selong Selo for 2020 - unfortunately Indonesia stopped tourism entries due to Covid and we were stuck discussing back and forth with the hotel, about what to do with our reservation. The first thing we realized was that communication with this hotel is extremely slow and difficult, since very single time someone new responded in what I would deem pretty bad English. Since 2020 we have sent countless emails (many left unanswered) and two years later are yet to get a refund or rebooking for our prepaid reservation of 1.500€. In this time Selong Selo staff has given us the hardest time I have ever experienced with any hotel during Covid: They set absurd deadlines for rebookings (essentially asking us to travel when there were no flights to Indonesia), downgraded the villa category we booked and then took days off our booking in case we rebooked. To be honest we don’t really see how we will get our money back and all this feels like a scam through and through. My verdict is this: Should something go wrong, you are stuck with this hotel and will lose your money. There are plenty of professional hotels in Lombok, so steer clear of Selong Selo!

Hotel nuevo, espectacular villas grandes con vistas increíbles y piscina privada. Colchon, sofá y amacas muy cómodas. De sueño. Servicio excelente y comida rica, la zona es muy tranquila pero abajo hay una parada de taxis y en 5 minutos estás en el centro de Sengigi. El masaje en el Spa fue excelente. Lo menos agradable no tiene que ver con el hotel, sino que en la misma colina hay una mezquita muy activa con altavoces, no solo se oye la música de la hora de rezos desde las 4am (que tiene encanto) sino que se escuchan las oraciones y cantar durante horas y horas. Es difícil descansar y relaj**** así.

Top 🔝 impecable, comida de lo más rica y alta calidad, desayuno abundante, todo el personal es muy muy servicial, amable y atento. Las habitaciones son nuevas, amplias y las camas buenas, limpiezas impecables en todo el hotel. El entertainment fantástico, muy buena música. El complejo bastante nuevo y el lugar tranquilo. Dales una oportunidad, no te decepcionarán. Muchas gracias a todos !!! 💖

Increíble Resort súper tranquilo y muy cuidado. La calidad humana del personal es excelente y hacen que en todo momento te sientas seguro y como en casa. Todos los detalles de establecimiento y del personal sobrepasan lo excelente. La comida es súper buena, el Chef muy atento con sus comensales, en fin todos muy cercanos. Chic@s buen trabajo!!! Wir waren 4 Nächte in dem Tropik Resort in der Villa Susan mit Außenpool und Außenwhirlpool und wir waren absolut begeistert. Zur Lage: Das Resort liegt 2 Fahrminuten vom traumhaften Strand Selong Belanak entfernt. Es wird ein kostenloser Shuttle Service zum Strand angeboten. Das Resort ist für Ruhesuchende perfekt geeignet. Es gibt ein paar sehr gute Restaurants in der Umgebung von anderen Hotels wobei das Restaurant der Villa auch hervorragend ist. Wer mal einen Tag mehr Trubel haben möchte kann ca. 30 Minuten nach Kuta fahren. Dort findet man dann auch größere Supermärkte und ein aktives Nachtleben. Zur Villa: Die Villa ist luxuriös eingerichtet und bietet einen Außenpool und beheizten Außenwhirlpool eine freistehende Badewanne eine Regendusche. Die Villa ist absolut neu und in einem top Zustand. Der Poolbereich ist von außen nicht einsehbar und man genießt 100% Privatsphäre. Man hat so viele nützliche Extras wie z.B einen Außengrill, ein gemütliches Gasfeuer, Lautsprecher die man mit seinem Handy verbinden kann, Eiswürfelspender, Side by Side Kühlschrank usw. Zum Service: Der Service war das Absolute Highlight an unserem Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns so willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Jeder einzelne Mitarbeiter war durchgehend bemüht uns zufrieden zu stellen. Es gibt eine WhatsApp Gruppe wo man zb sein Essen bestellen kann oder Anliegen melden kann. Die Reaktionszeit war unter 5 Minuten. Wir sind seit 3 Wochen in Indonesien unterwegs und hatten mehrere Unterkünfte aber hier war der Service einfach am Besten !
