El personal fue increíblemente amable, el hotel era genial y limpio, la habitación era muy moderna... ¡Me encantó todo! Mi único inconveniente fue que el aire acondicionado del baño estaba vacío, pero si me quedaba más de una noche y pedía que lo llenaran, te garantizo que lo harían sin dudarlo. ¡Un hotel fantástico y a un paseo del Barclays Center!

This hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there,and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-)  either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!

Fue una experiencia realmente genial mi estancia allí. La comida era muy buena y todas las personas que conocí en el hotel fueron muy amables.

La ubicación es muy conveniente y solo se necesitan 5 minutos a pie para llegar al metro. La habitación está limpia.

Logré llegar temprano y permití el check-in temprano a la 1:00 p. m. en lugar de a las 4:00 p. m. La mujer caucásica apostada en el mostrador de facturación no era la persona más amigable. Le pasé mi tarjeta de crédito y estaba esperando que me indicara que firmara el recibo. Después de una larga pausa, me di cuenta de que tenía que hacer algo con la máquina y le pregunté dónde hago clic para acceder a la máquina. Ella no respondió amablemente. Entiendo que no todos los estadounidenses han viajado mucho y tienden a brindar servicios de peor calidad en comparación con el resto del mundo. Señalando esto, de hecho, el hotel debe comprender que no todos los países utilizan la misma marca de máquina de tarjetas de crédito/POS que los estadounidenses. El personal del hotel no debe esperar que los huéspedes extranjeros sepan cómo funciona la máquina o el hotel. Además, no hay ninguna instrucción en la máquina que diga ”Firme aquí”. El personal deberá al menos proporcionar una instrucción verbal para la firma en la máquina. Si el personal no se molesta en dar instrucciones verbales, pegue como mínimo una ayuda visual en la máquina. Afortunadamente, el chico asiático durante el check out fue mucho más amigable e intentó iniciar una conversación, pero yo estaba resfriado, así que traté de minimizar la interacción. Los interiores eran anticuados como en los años 90. Afortunadamente, la habitación estaba limpia e iluminada con múltiples lámparas alrededor de la habitación. Como ocurre con la mayoría de las reseñas, me cobraron dos veces en mi tarjeta de crédito el primer día y el último día cada uno. Solicito un reembolso a través del servicio de mi tarjeta ahora, ya que se realizó un cargo no autorizado el último día y ni siquiera estaba en el recibo/informe de gastos. Con mucho gusto pagaría todo el primer día, en lugar de pasar por tantos problemas. No hay recibo de depósito o cancelación, a diferencia de otros hoteles en los que he estado. El servicio y las comodidades son promedio. No hay zapatillas disponibles en la habitación. Se proporciona taquilla para objetos de valor. Propia máquina de café en la habitación, pero no establezca grandes expectativas ya que no es Nespresso. No hay un menú de cena en la habitación como referencia, incluso si quiero obtenerlo. La tarifa de destino de 30$USD por noche es obligatoria pero canjeable por alquiler de bicicleta de 2 horas en Central Park para dos personas o comida en el hotel. Parece que el hotel quiere cobrarle más pero no quiere brindarle el servicio pagado. No me molesté en comprar comida en el hotel porque las críticas eran normales. Recomiendo visitar Los Tacos No. 1 y Broad Nosh Bagels a unas cuadras de distancia para desayunar y almorzar. Lo mejor y único punto positivo es la ubicación del hotel. Justo detrás del MoMA y cerca de lugares de interés como el Rockefeller Center, y a dos calles de la Quinta Avenida y Central Park. Solo me alojé aquí por conveniencia, ya que un amigo también se hospedaba en el mismo hotel por necesidades de negocios.

Tuvimos una estancia maravillosa, una ubicación perfecta y todos fueron muy amables.
