The room was very clean considering the hotel only opened recently. Staff was very helpful and attentive. We were allowed to check in 2 hrs earlier for free. They also kept our luggage safely tucked away after we checked out giving us the opportunity to go around the city without carrying them. Unfortunately, the gym and pool were still closed for renovation. The roof deck would’ve been an excellent place to spend time had it been given the thought and attention it deserved. The artificial turf was soaking wet and unsafe to walk on despite the fact that it didn’t rain that evening. It was a shame because the view of the surrounding area from the roof deck was easily the highlight of the hotel. Lastly, breakfast could have been better. The food options could have been thought out better. The ”tuyo” served that morning wasn’t edible leaving guests to choose between chicken afritada, luncheon meat, corned beef, and sautéed cabbage.

Location: Infront of a street. Can easily get a taxi. Walking distance down the street to reach a supermarket, laundry and food shops. Part city view and part mountain view in front of my business suite room, best view at night with all the bustling city lights next to the silent mountains. Near Botanical Gardens park where I go for a daily walk. Cleanliness: My room was cleaned and tidied up well on my request on alternate days. The toilet at the ground floor next to the restaurant needs constant cleaning and drying up. My frequent visitors find the floor mini - flooded few times. Service: Best service so far was from the amazing lovely room cleaners who were always smiling and quite courteous as they work tirelessly. The hotel's Elements Restaurant staff were also hardworking and respectful. The proficient chefs and sous chefs cooked relentlessly without pressure to deliver yummy food on the table! I ate way too much delicious Filipino food! The front desk staff needs to be a bit more approachable by smiling a little more as they are the first main contact of clients. Also I reckon management staff responsible in receiving communication via emails from clients need to be more pro-active by replying or acknowledging receipt of emails. Facilities: I enjoyed using the treadmill at the hotel gym. They have the equipment that you can find in a basic gym which is wonderful albeit one of the 2 treadmills was out of order. The hotel restaurant is mostly busy and cramped. They have delicious buffets for breakfast, lunch, merienda/snack and dinner and are not too expensive. Hence a huge crowd from outside the hotel also flock this restaurant. There is a small pool next to the restaurant but way too closed to the dining tables where patrons are eating. My other suggestion for hotel management is to ensure that the electric power points are safe. All the power points in my room were eliciting a mini-spark every time I plug in to charge my laptop, mobile phones and electric gadgets including the room's bedside lamps, lounge lamp, kitchen kettle. Beware to foreign hotel guests not to flush used toilet tissues as it can block the toilet bowl which happened on the second day of my one-month stay. Yes, chuck it into the bin next to it instead. The room lounge's sofas are already worn-out and scratchy; covering it with throw blankets would be much comfortable and cleaner-looking. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will potentially return in a year's time.

When visiting Baguio, this is a great stay. The staff is extremely friendly abd supportive durinf your stay, from the porter or the guard till the waiters and the reception. The rooms are not big, but comfortable. Nice to stay in Camp John Hay.

El hotel es muy conveniente y accesible a diferentes lugares alrededor de Baguio. Está a poca distancia del parque Burnham y de Session Road. En general, es genial.

My ate and I are both happy we found this place. It’s an 8-minute walk to the bus station, and right outside the hotel, we could easily wait for or book taxis. The hotel staff were also very helpful and accommodating. The room view is very nice, and it really gives you that cozy, peaceful Baguio experience. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast—it was a great way to start our day.

Th entrance is a bit of a hassle as the hotel is under renovation. Entrance is through the parking and if you dont have transport you’ll have to climb the stairs.

Estaban constantemente amables, atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudar, lo que realmente hizo una diferencia en nuestra experiencia global. La limpieza del hotel es excelente. Las habitaciones, las calles y las zonas comunes son sin escena, y puedes decir que el mantenimiento de la casa se enorgullece de su trabajo. Las habitaciones son bien mantenidas, cómodas y proporcionan todo lo que necesitas para una estancia relajada. El hotel está situado cerca del corazón de Baguio para un fácil acceso a lugares populares, pero lejos de disfrutar de una atmósfera tranquila y tranquila. Es un gran equilibrio para relajarse y explorar la ciudad. El desayuno sin límites fue una agradable sorpresa. Un poco más variedad en el menú sería agradable para los huéspedes que se quedan varias noches, pero en general, fue una gran perk. La vista del hotel es muy bonita y una de las cosas que hacen que esta estancia sea memorable. Room was supposed to be 30 sq meters, but was 15 sq meters...including bathroom. The sink drain pipe had just been put in the bigger wall pipe...meaning it was not sealed at all and seawage smell was coming into the bathroom. We could smell it too in the room during the night.
