I had a very good experience staying at Hilton Cardiff. The hotel felt extremely safe and well managed throughout my stay. One thing I noticed is that they are very strict about not allowing visitors after 9 PM. At first, it was a bit disappointing, but honestly, it also made me feel much safer knowing they take security seriously. The service was excellent from beginning to end. The staff were always kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed, which made the whole experience feel very welcoming. My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. It was also cleaned during my stay, which I really appreciated and added to the overall comfort. The location is another big advantage the hotel is just steps away from Cardiff Castle, making it perfect for exploring the city. It’s also only about a 20 minute walk from Cardiff Central railway station, which made getting there and around very convenient. One morning I decided to try the breakfast buffet, and it was definitely worth it. There were many options to choose from, including pastries, hot food, fruit, and drinks. They also had coffee machines with very good coffee, which made the breakfast experience even better. Another highlight was the bar downstairs it had a great atmosphere and was a really nice place to relax after a day of exploring. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cardiff, especially if you value comfort, excellent service, a great location, and above all, feeling safe during your stay.

I have a really mixed feeling about this hotel. I booked the superior room with tree lined view and asked for a quiet room: the receptionist gave me an extremely cold and noisy room right next to the motorway and above some nightclubs. My watch has identified the noise level is over the normal limit. I couldn’t fall asleep due to the loud noise even at midnight. I called the receptionist to change a room. Unfortunately, they first gave me a standard room that the heating system was not working and much smaller than I have paid for. The two maintenance officers who came to check the heating system are very helpful and suggested to change to another room. Only by then, I was able to change to another room that matched the similar sized of a superior room, but without tree lined view. I must say that all the receptionists were friendly and polite but behind their friendliness, they are not really helpful at all. I had my dinner, a sea bass meal, at the restaurant - see the photo. The dinner and the service was both outstanding. The kettle in the room was not very clean; it could easily be cleaned by using small spray to remove the calcium. The gym and swimming pool are excellent. If you are not used to live in really loud room, please double check with the receptionists. It is also not worth to pay an extra 10 pounds per night to get a so called tree lined room with extreme loud noise. I also wonder the reason for the hotel to give customers rooms that the heating system are not working. It would helpful to check before they allocate room to customers. It would also helpful that the hotel ensure that the room has reasonable temperature before admitting guests, esp on a very cold winter night. Overall, this is not a very good experience. I was not able to sleep for a whole night. I paid extra in the hope of getting a better and quiet room but ended up with one of the worst room without getting any compensation.

Me alojé una noche y la ubicación era perfecta, a solo 7 minutos a pie de la estación central de trenes de Cardiff. Es muy fácil llegar. A primera vista, el hotel parece muy antiguo en comparación con la foto, pero estaba bastante limpio. El check-in fue fácil y los recepcionistas fueron muy amables. Me encanta el servicio de recepción las 24 horas. Como está en el centro de la ciudad, el entorno está un poco abarrotado, pero la entrada siempre está cerrada y tienes que tocar el timbre para entrar, lo que me hizo sentir seguro. Como viajero solo en una ciudad nueva, eso es lo principal que quería. La habitación es pequeña, pero tiene todo lo que necesito. Pensé que oiría las voces de otras habitaciones a juzgar por el aspecto de las paredes, pero no fue así. La cama era cómoda y dormí bien. Definitivamente me quedaría allí de nuevo. Saludos.

Last minute decision to stay over in Cardiff and this is in an ideal location and reasonable price. Staff at reception/bar couldn't have been more helpful when I struggled with the check in units! Room was fine, quiet & with everything I needed. Sunday night but restaurant was still open so had lovely meal there & breakfast the next morning always a cracker. Note their deal if you're having both by the way.

Located in the middle of the city centre close to castle and local attractions. Unfortunately room backed into a night club which played music till 4am. If you are a light sleeper this could be an issue. Other then that lovely place.

Muy buena ubicación y todo muy bien por su precio. Lo único malo es que no puedes dejar las maletas en el alojamiento si llegas antes o te vas después.

Estaba a solo 5 minutos del centro de la ciudad. El personal era muy amable. Todo estaba limpio. Volveré pronto.

Its so close the city centre. The cardiff castle is located just 3-4 minutes walk distance,the beds are clean,hot water is working and the beds are clean. Thanks

La habitación es muy agradable, muy limpia y muy espaciosa. Está cerca de todas las grandes tiendas, restaurantes y bares. 10-15 minutos a pie del castillo de Cardiff. El hotel está cerca de la Universidad de Cardiff y a unos 20 minutos a pie de Mermaid Quay.
