UUsuario invitadoThe hotel is aesthetically pleasing, has old world charm yet modern. Breakfast is good though sometimes a long queue is formed outside the restaurant.
But my check in was very disappointing. First the time it took for that staff to process it led me to think either their computer is not working or there's a problem with my booking (but I have received reminder from Trip.com.
Worst, that staff asked me to pay a sum which is about £100 more than the stated sum on my hotel voucher ( he even said specifically ”For the first night the amount is xxx, and for the second night, the amount is xxx, with a security deposit of £50, the total is £4xx.”I told him he made a mistake as the sum stated in my printed voucher is only £3xx. That staff is either incompetent or not trustworthy, and should not be working on front desk. ALWAYS CHECK THE PRICE ON YOUR VOUCHER.

La habitación era cómoda, limpia y bien mantenida.
El hotel está a pocos pasos del Castillo de Cardiff, lo que lo hace perfecto para explorar la ciudad. También se encuentra a sólo 20 minutos a pie de la estación ferroviaria central de Cardiff, lo que hizo llegar allí y alrededor muy conveniente.
En una mañana decidí probar el desayuno buffet, y definitivamente vale la pena. También tenían máquinas de café con café muy bueno, lo que hizo que la experiencia del desayuno sería aún mejor.
Otro destacado fue el bar abajo, que tenía una gran atmósfera y fue un lugar muy agradable para relajarse después de un día de exploración.
En general, me quedaría aquí de nuevo y lo recomendaría muy a cualquiera que visite Cardiff, especialmente si aprecia el confort, excelente servicio, una gran ubicación y, sobre todo, sentirse seguro durante su estancia.

SSitalI had a very enjoyable stay at Leonardo Hotel Cardiff. The room was well-presented, spacious, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a larger suite. The service throughout my stay was excellent; staff were attentive, responded promptly to any requests, and went out of their way to ensure everything was seamless. A particular highlight was being offered a takeaway breakfast to accommodate my early train departure, which I greatly appreciated.
The only minor drawback was that the room could be somewhat noisy at times. However, this did not detract significantly from what was otherwise a very positive experience. I would be pleased to stay here again.

UUsuario invitadoI have a really mixed feeling about this hotel. I booked the superior room with tree lined view and asked for a quiet room: the receptionist gave me an extremely cold and noisy room right next to the motorway and above some nightclubs. My watch has identified the noise level is over the normal limit. I couldn’t fall asleep due to the loud noise even at midnight. I called the receptionist to change a room. Unfortunately, they first gave me a standard room that the heating system was not working and much smaller than I have paid for. The two maintenance officers who came to check the heating system are very helpful and suggested to change to another room. Only by then, I was able to change to another room that matched the similar sized of a superior room, but without tree lined view. I must say that all the receptionists were friendly and polite but behind their friendliness, they are not really helpful at all. I had my dinner, a sea bass meal, at the restaurant - see the photo. The dinner and the service was both outstanding. The kettle in the room was not very clean; it could easily be cleaned by using small spray to remove the calcium. The gym and swimming pool are excellent. If you are not used to live in really loud room, please double check with the receptionists. It is also not worth to pay an extra 10 pounds per night to get a so called tree lined room with extreme loud noise. I also wonder the reason for the hotel to give customers rooms that the heating system are not working. It would helpful to check before they allocate room to customers. It would also helpful that the hotel ensure that the room has reasonable temperature before admitting guests, esp on a very cold winter night. Overall, this is not a very good experience. I was not able to sleep for a whole night. I paid extra in the hope of getting a better and quiet room but ended up with one of the worst room without getting any compensation.

UUsuario invitadoLocated in the middle of the city centre close to castle and local attractions. Unfortunately room backed into a night club which played music till 4am. If you are a light sleeper this could be an issue. Other then that lovely place.

MM.Y.J.La habitación es muy agradable, muy limpia y muy espaciosa. Está cerca de todas las grandes tiendas, restaurantes y bares. 10-15 minutos a pie del castillo de Cardiff. El hotel está cerca de la Universidad de Cardiff y a unos 20 minutos a pie de Mermaid Quay.
