Helpful friendly staff at reception Good location. The bathroom in my room had an unpleasant odour, smell, possibly the pipes from the toilets, was clean but the smell was very unpleasant. Bathroom needs ripping out & updating & new pipes for toilet. Not good for light sleepers like myself - can hear drunks outside & people outside at night. The train going past on the bridge is a lil noisy & the guests in other room made noise. Comfy bed & nice sized room & view. Hard working housekeepers who do an EXCELLENT job 💫💫💫 Good value for money.

Customer service was wonderful as per usual. Room was clean and tidy. Staff friendly and welcoming. The location is convenient to everything and the breakfast buffet was top tier. This will always be my go to hotel.

It was a comfortable stay overall. The room was very clean and quiet with a basic facility. The quality of bed linen was also very good. However, I think that the hotel is suitable for holiday makers, rather than for business travellers. Since there was no table or desk in the room, it was very difficult for me to have an online meeting with my lap-top computer. This was the only negative issue I have faced during my stay at easyHotel Newcastle.

Nuestra experiencia en este hotel fue fantástica. **Ubicación:** La ubicación era ideal para disfrutar de la vida nocturna, con ambiente animado y animado en las inmediaciones. Sin embargo, la ubicación del hotel en una esquina nos protegió del ruido, lo que garantizó un sueño tranquilo para nuestros hijos. Ideal location right by the train station. Hotel room was lovely, beds comfortable, shower warm - large spacious room. Mini bar also. Hotel staff friendly breakfast was available at extra charge but did not have it. Would stay here again.

Myself and my partner stayed at this hotel for 3 days. When I booked it, I never realised it had one part at one side and the other part across the street. If you book your standard rooms your hotel is across the road. The standard double room was 'cosy'. There wasnt a great deal of space but we were out the majority of the time so it was fine just for a place to sleep. The location is good, definitely a student area and the hotel offer earbuds for the noise. We stayed through the week and being honest we didnt find it that loud and most places were closed and quiet for no later than midnight. I do imagine it would be very different staying at the weekend. We used west Jesmond metro to get to and from the city centre, the hotel is about a 8 minute walk from the metro, the are very frequent also, so all in I think it took no more than 15 mins to get right into the city centre. So the room in general was ok, our room had a bit of a smell coming from the drains, which wasnt very nice so we had to buy a spray for the room. The main issue with the room and the hotel is the heat!! It has just been 28 degrees in newcastle and outside was cooler than the room. We bought chocolate and it melted in a cupboard. They do give you a fan but being honest, it did nothing. The window was also small so no air really got in from that either. It made for a few uncomfortable nights sleep! Overall the cleanliness was ok but just far to warm.

The Hanson hotel is the perfect location for the university's and the town centre ,rooms could do with a good update ,food and staff were exceptional would advise to make a visit even if it's for a drink and something to eat

Pasé una noche aquí. Tuve que dejar las ventanas abiertas para ventilar, ya que no había aire acondicionado ni ventilador en la habitación. La ubicación está bien, a un autobús del centro. Los recepcionistas son amables y fáciles de tratar. Muchas gracias por el té y el café que había en la habitación.

I booked this for my Grandaughter and I to attend an appointment in Newcastle at 1.30pm and also a concert in the evening at the arena. Arriving well before check in at 3pm, the receptionist kindly allowed us to park in the hotel car park thus enabling us not to have to move the car from the metro station opposite later. This was a great help- thankyou. We checked in after our appointment and got our key for room 23. It was nice and cosy with the heating on and extremely clean. I did struggle to turn off the cold tap fully in the bathroom but my Grandaughter sorted it...maybe needs some attention from a professional. After getting changed, we headed back up town on the metro where we enjoyed seeing Rick Astley. It was quite late when we returned hungry but the hotel was fine with us ordering a McDonald's delivery from Kingston Park. All in all with breakfast included in the price, we had a super time.
